Valvoline Instant Oil Change

I had my oil changed and my air filter and wiper blades replaced. These guys were fast and professional. They took the time to explain what they were doing and printed a copy of the recommended upcoming services. I couldn't be happier with the service, and I will definitely be back.

They were quick and efficient. They took their time and did a great job, but they first found out what I was needing. There was no waiting, even with an oil change and inspection. They took care of my needs quickly and allowed me to get back to my day.

Came for an inspection and they had us in and out quickly. I have all my vehicles' oil changed at Valvoline and they always treat us right and I couldn't do it any cheaper myself.

I've always came to this same location to have oil changed, transmission fluid changed , inspection or anything that I thought was needed at the time. If anything else was needed that I didn't know about, they were on top of it and let me know. The employees that have always worked on any of my vehicles have been nothing less that 100% professionals and very welcoming. I totally trust them with any of my vehicles needs that they can provide! I would recommend this location to anyone!!

I recently had a frustrating experience with Valvoline, specifically at their Mills River, NC location. After bringing my 2019 Subaru Forester in for an oil change on November 8, 2024, I encountered significant issues due to a loose oil filter that was not properly torqued. This resulted in oil leaking onto the exhaust system, causing smoke and unhealthy fumes to enter my vehicle. Upon returning to the shop to address the problem, I was initially hopeful that the staff would take responsibility for the situation. Unfortunately, after a lengthy back-and-forth process, the claim I filed was denied by both the branch manager and the area manager—essentially the final authority in this matter. The reasoning provided was based on video footage, which the management claims supports their assertion that "everything had been done to the t." However, I question the objectivity of this assessment, as the same manager who denied my claim was present during my initial visit and the follow-up. Despite my attempts to engage in a constructive dialogue and provide evidence of the issues I faced, it seems Valvoline is unwilling to take accountability for the problems caused during my service. As a customer, I expected a fair evaluation of my situation, especially considering that the experts at Subaru mentioned such incidents are not uncommon. I am disappointed with how Valvoline handled my claim and the lack of willingness to resolve the aftermath of their service. I cannot recommend Valvoline based on my experience, and I urge others to exercise caution if considering their services especially when "situations" arise.

Was a big fan over the past couple of years, but something has changed and this place is now a disaster. Still nice guys but work is shoddy, at best. When you can’t fill the oil to the proper level or put an oil filter on tightly or file an inspection report with the state, you’re in the wrong business. Really disappointed in the change.

I went in this past Wednesday for a oil change and inspection. My low tire pressure light had came on 2 days before and my passenger head light out on low. I thought that the technician would put air in my tires and change the light bulb since those 2 things need to be corrected before it could pass the inspection. To my surprise, neither were fixed. How can they pass my vehicle with a headlight out and low tire pressure?? Now I wonder if my oil has been changed or if they just added oil to it if it was low. SMH!!! I will not be going back and I advise everyone else to think twice.
