Valvoline Instant Oil Change Introduce

Located at 8055 S Rainbow Blvd in Las Vegas, NV 89139, Valvoline Instant Oil Change offers quick oil change services. They can be contacted at (725) 231-1581 or their mobile number +1 725-231-1581.

Recent customer reviews paint a concerning picture of the service quality at this location. One customer who chose Valvoline over their dealership for a routine oil change on a 2021 Subaru described the experience as a 'nightmare.' Upon returning home, they discovered their car was emitting thick smoke and that the coolant level was significantly below the low mark, despite the Valvoline inspection report indicating it was 'OK.' This oversight has allegedly left the customer's car unusable, with smoke appearing every time it's started. The customer also reported oil drips all over the engine that they had to clean themselves and expressed frustration with the slow and unprofessional handling of their claim.

Another customer shared a similarly negative experience, stating that a technician forgot to tighten the oil filter during an oil change on their new car, resulting in a loss of 2.5 quarts of oil on their way home. This customer's requests for a refund and engine diagnostics were reportedly declined, with Valvoline instead offering a free oil change coupon. This was the second negative experience for this customer at this location, as they recounted a previous incident with their Kia Optima where the air box was left open, triggering the check engine light. This customer strongly advises against bringing vehicles to this Valvoline location.

Based on these recent experiences, potential customers should be aware of the following:

  • Reports of significant errors during oil change services, such as loose oil filters and incorrect fluid level checks.
  • Allegations of potential negligence and lack of attention to detail.
  • Customer accounts of consequential vehicle issues, including smoking engines and check engine lights.
  • Experiences of unsatisfactory claim handling and customer service follow-up.

There is no promotional information available in the provided reviews. However, the strong negative feedback regarding the quality and reliability of the oil change services should be a primary consideration for local users when deciding where to take their vehicles for maintenance. The recurring themes of errors and potential damage suggest a need for caution when considering Valvoline Instant Oil Change at this Las Vegas location.

Valvoline Instant Oil Change Customer Reviews

I regretfully decided to try Valvoline for an oil change instead of going to my usual dealership, and it was one of the worst decisions I’ve ever made. What should have been a routine service turned into a nightmare. (This is a 2021 Subaru) After leaving the shop, I drove home, only to discover that my car was smoking when I pulled into my garage. The smoke was so thick that it filled the entire space, and I was alarmed and completely baffled. On top of that, I noticed that the cooling liquid was below the low-level mark. This was absolutely shocking because the inspection report I received from Valvoline had marked it as "OK." How could such an oversight happen during what is supposed to be a professional service? Now, my car smokes every time I start it, rendering it unusable. I can’t even leave my house without worrying about damaging my vehicle further or causing a safety hazard. I had to open a claim with Valvoline, and I’m currently stuck waiting for someone to get back to me. The lack of urgency in addressing the issue is incredibly frustrating and unprofessional. The carelessness demonstrated during the oil change is completely unacceptable. It’s clear that there was either a lack of attention to detail or a disregard for the condition of my vehicle. Either way, this experience has left me without a functional car and a serious amount of stress. The oil change was so messy these were oil drips all over the engine, that i had to clean MYSELF. To make matters worse, I’ve always trusted my dealership to handle my oil changes, and I only went to Valvoline because it was more convenient. I now see that was a huge mistake, and I’ll never trust them with my vehicle again. The entire experience feels like a breach of trust and competency. I’m appalled by the poor service, the apparent negligence, and the subsequent hassle of having to open a claim and wait indefinitely for a resolution. If you care about your car and your peace of mind, steer clear of Valvoline. I certainly won’t be returning, and I would strongly advise others to avoid making the same mistake I did. Please review the pictures of the oil dipstick ABOVE THE MAX LINE!

Get your oil changes here at your own risk. I brought my new car here for an oil change the technician forgot to tighten the oil filter and I bled out 2 1/2 quarts on my way home. I requested a refund and for them to take my engine to get diagnosed. They declined and gave me a free Oil change coupon. This is the second time I brought a vehicle here for something as easy as an oil change and yet again they've shown incompetence Last time on my Kia Optima, They forgot to close the air box so I had a check engine light go off. Never again while I bring my vehicles to a Valvoline.

I usually go to jiffy lube but they didn’t have the oil my truck uses in stock. I decided to go to this place because it was close. The people working were friendly enough but as soon as they “finished” with the oil change they came at me with the “checklist” of things that needed ”attention”. My truck is new with about 21,000 miles on it, NO I don’t need my rear differential fluid changed…. NO I don’t need any transmission fluid flushing etc. all I wanted was an oil change. This place is so out of touch with current events. It felt very 1980’s grimy auto repair shop if that makes sense. We ant an oil change not a “checklist” of BS unnecessary up charges and upsells. It’s pathetic and cheap trick sales tactics deployed by a goofy guy that had no conviction in what he was doing. And besides that, 5 different people touched my truck. I was sitting in it, watching all of these different people perform different tasks. ITS A FREAKIN OIL CHANGE…… I paid over $140 to get the oil changed and had to sit there and listen to this guy ramble on about all of the “recommendations” my new truck needed. What’s worse is I have greasy hand prints on the hood, fender, and grill of the truck. Overall this outdated high pressure up-sale, overpriced, “oil change” facility is a terrible place to go and their tactics are trash. We don’t need businesses like this in our community ripping people off.

Went to go get an oil change on an Audi. Once they were finished, they asked me to start the vehicle and hit the gas. My car turned on sputtered and shut off when I hit the gas. They told me to turn the vehicle all the way off while they try to figure out what happened. 30 minutes later, the person who was helping me went home. After a total of 45 minutes, and one of the mechanics coming back-and-forth from my hood, and taking a picture of my engine I decided to get out of my car and ask what was going on. They proceeded to tell me that they accidentally drained my transmission fluid instead of my oil. So I had no transmission fluid, and they overfilled my oil. He said they were working on, refilling the transmission fluid, and doing a proper oil change. After about another 30 minutes, one of the mechanics tells me that someone will be over to talk to me in a moment. A few minutes later Deshawn came over to let me know exactly what was going on, and then proceeded to tell me that the type of oil that my vehicle takes is a specific type of oil that they do not have and cannot get it until the following day. He said I would have to leave my vehicle and basically figure out how to get home on my own. Not to mention how to get to work the following day, since now I do not have an operating vehicle and it has to be left at Valvoline. He did not apologize. He did not seem like he cared that they did this big mistake. He said he spoke to his district manager, and that they agreed that they would not charge me for replacing my transmission fluid. This already upset me, because I don’t know why I would even be expected to pay for this when they made the mistake. He then went into the office, closed the door and left me out there. I ended up Just leaving the keys on the dash since they closed the door and the blinds. I called customer care and opened up a case. The following morning I received a call from the manager Jacob, who was very nice and was apologetic and let me know that they had replaced the transmission fluid and drove the vehicle on the highway, and there were no issues. The customer care agent processed a full refund for the oil change, and they are also sending me a check for the Uber that I had to take to get home. although the resolution was satisfactory The experience was terrible, and I had to miss a day of work. I will definitely start going to the dealer. No matter how inconvenient it is. I’ve trusted valvoline for years, they have lost a customer.

Went in for a full synthetic oil change, a new cabin air filter, and new windshield wipers and it was super quick! Service was friendly as well. Was in and out in less than 20 minutes. Jacob was great!

They literally wasted 30 minutes of my day. They told me that I needed all kinds of stuff done to my vehicle, but did not. I just went in for an oil change and they refused to do my oil change because they could not upsell me on 50 different services. I highly recommend that you stay away from this place. It is a scam. The technician Alexander, who is a Hispanic man and his partner who is also a Hispanic man George are rude. They don’t know what they’re doing and all they care about is up selling. I will be reporting them to corporate

I stopped at this location to have a smog test for my vehicle. The manager told me that It would be a while because there was several cars ahead of me for oil changes. After 1/2 hr when the cars ahead of me were serviced, I approached the manager who told me that there were more cars to do oil changes and neither him or his 2 other employees were going to stop doing oil changes to do a smog test on my vehicle. Very uncosiderate of my valuable time. He would not give me the contact information of the store owner to report the experience.

Extraordinary service! Went in for an oil change and an engine flush, they were quick and efficient. I told them I brought my own filters and they said they would replace them for me at no extra charge. Although it took awhile to get to the cabin filter, they didn't make a big fuss. Lawreance was great and knowledgeable. Love the fact I didn't need to make an appointment, they took me in right away. They honored my coupon and added an extra discount. Highly recommended!
