Valvoline Instant Oil Change

I've been to many valvolines, and this is one of the few that I could actually say does an 'instant' oil change. I was in and out and about 20 minutes. I was fortunate enough to have Ethan helping me. He was very courteous and professional. And when he told me my coolant was low, he actually asked me a series of questions to find out why that might be the case, and now I know how to better care for my engine. Good guy, definitely needs a raise.

Very kind and open staff provided great service and helped with even the simplest of requests (e.g., replacing a blinker bulb). They provided me with additional suggestions on what the vehicle needed, greatly informing me of my vehicle's current status and tunes-ups needed. Planning to go back very soon, and I'd rate it more than a 10/10 if it were possible!

Good for an oil change. Always seems to be an effort to get a tire rotation though, at any Valvoline. Yet they always wanna replace that cabin filter that doesn't need to be replaced. They check your tire pressure but are hardly ever willing to rotate them. Not just this one, all the Valvoline's I have been to. Anywhere that offers an oil change should also offer a tire rotation. That should just be a standard. Instead, I get the guy always telling me I need a tire rotation but he cant do it.... Maybe they do it by appointment only, who knows. But it shouldn't be an effort to get a tire rotation along with a standard oil change. Next time I'm going somewhere that will just handle both. Other than that it's usually fine for an instant oil change.

went in for a simple oil change and not even 5 minutes later had to pull over because my car started making weird noises. they had damaged the fender on the inside and left it hanging. we came back immediately and said “oh we changed the bolts but i’ll see what i can do” then kept telling us a tire needed be changed. they let us know once it was done that they had not put the clips on.. although it was fixed, it isn’t something that shouldn’t have happened in the first place.

Today was my last time using this place after 10+ years and multiple vehicles. You have lost me as a customer and after folks read my review I am sure you will lose more. My wife brought her 2014 Odyssey for an oli change today. This car has an oil life monitor which let's you know when the oil needs to be changed. The technician told her that the oil was very dirty and that the transmission fluid was empty. My wife called me to discuss this, I asked if there was a fluid leak, and the technician said no, there was no leak. How could the fluid be low then? The technician said it was because we have not replaced the fluid, it needs to be done every 60,000 miles. I let Valvoline change the oil, then went right around the corner to our usual mechanic. We have been using him for more than 30 years. He looked at the transmission fluid and said it was fine, right where it should be. I know where I am getting my future oil changes and it won't be at Valvoline anymore. There is no way I would trust them with anything again.

The team at this Valvoline is super friendly and knows their stuff. They explain everything they are doing for your car, make your choices regarding service easy to understand, and then work diligently to get you on your way. Great experience!

Awesome service. Staff notified me of a coolant leak that I was unaware of, and I paid for a top off. Unfortunately that day I had to drive long distance despite this issue, but I came back the next day and they provided another top off free of charge. Then I got the leak serviced & they gladly took a look at it to let me know their thoughts. Highly recommend them

The technician was the assistant manager at the Norwalk Rt 7 ct location, I believe his name was Caden. He was very attentive and provided exactly the services I needed. Overall excellent service and experience and I will go back!
