If I could give this wonderful place 1000 stars I would! I was having a hesitation/skipping sensation while driving my car, I was recommended to go to a a certain place in Norwalk by someone but I did my research and decided to go with this amazing place!! I was nicely greeted by the kindest woman at the desk, Clara! She took my information and a few minutes later the owner Steve introduced himself, shaking my hand and immediately took my car for a test drive, unfortunately I had an issue with the engine misfiring, so I left my car overnight and the next day Clara called me and explained that rodents had got into my engine and eaten through my coils, I needed all 4 coils and spark plugs, not a cheap job but it had to be done! She nicely gave me a discount as I was a retired nurse! I have had a really bad year financially so I was so grateful! When I picked up the car, Steve went over everything with me, gave me tips on what to do to prevent these rodents from getting into my engine again! I cannot express enough how absolutely grateful I am to Steve and Clara for going above and beyond to help me! They are my Christmas Angels! Best mechanic shop in the area hands down! Moving forward my car will be brought to them for all my car needs! Thank you Steve, Clara and Alanna for your kindness, support and compassion! Today was a blessed day as I gained 3 new friends who feel like family now! For all those out there who need car repairs, this is the number 1 place to go!!

Finally a car repair place with integrity, I took in my car and they had it for 2 hours to look into a check engine light . They delivered bad news but refreshingly suggested another path one that would not result payment to them. Not only that but I wasn’t charged for the initial diagnosis. I’ll definitely be back there moving forward.

Excellent business. Steve and Clara are incredibly kind, professional, respectful and trustworthy. Steve has always been very honest, reasonable in prices, and more than willing to take a look at things without charging me a thing (he once took my car for a half day diagnostic, gave me a reasonable estimate and options, and that was it). He even helped my mother turn her car around in the parking lot when she dropped me off to pick up my car. This is a very kind place, they have done great work for me, and I trust them so highly that I will not be taking my car elsewhere.

When my 2000 Jaguar XK8 transmission failed, I was told by Jaguar that they could not rebuild it. In fact, they said I would have to get an original transmission from somewhere in Georgia, but Jaguar was not sure they could find one, and, that if they did, the estimated cost wasn't worth it. I was prepared to sell my Jaguar as salvage. A friend recommended AAMCO. I was surprized AAMCO could rebuild a foreign transmission like Jaguar, but Steve said he could do it. AAMCO rebuilt my original transmission at a very reasonable cost. That was seven years ago. My Jaguar XK8 still runs great. I highly recommend AAMCO in Norwalk. A real service to the community.

Steve provided great service. I never felt like I was being scammed. I would recommend anyone to come here for an honest assessment and fair prices. I came to get a second opinion because Toyota recommended service that cost $400+, and Steve found nothing wrong with my vehicle. He didn't charge me a thing, and for that I'll always be back. Best mechanic in Norwalk by far!

From the moment you walk in the door until you leave, this place treats you like gold! I have never been in a place where I’ve felt so welcome by so many people. Clara at the front desk radiates positive energy, uplifting, cheerful and easy to talk to. Ed who helped me with my car was prompt, honest and very knowledgeable. Smooth process from beginning to end. The owner was very friendly and helpful, all around great staff. Highly recommend.

I brought my car in for a routine oil change and maintenance service. I knew I needed new brakes but was not ready for that due to the estimate given at my previous car service center. When Steve and Clara contacted me with an estimate for my approval, I was pleasantly surprised by their reasonable fee. I approved the work instantly. The work was done as quickly as possible, apparently my car is not always easy to get parts for, as I was already aware, but the job was completed early the next day. They made everything easy and smooth including dropping off and picking up the car. This was a nightmare I had been dreading and they made it a pleasant experience. Thank you

Owner very cool and good at fixing the issue on my bmw coupe! They also got me set with full set of 4 run flat tires with all the works lol! This is my second time here and if I have any issues I’d always come back 1000 percent

Beware! If you take your vehicle here to get checked out, be careful that they don't turn off warning lights without fixing the problem. This happened to me and turned a $1900 job into a $6000+ job. They also do not take any responsibility for mistakes. I will not be going back.

We recently brought our Ford F-150 to Aamco in Norwalk bc the transmission and the torque converter went on the truck. Needless to say I wanted to cry bc it was a lot of money and we literally just bought our first home so of all times for this to happen this was the wrong time…. Clara the manager worked with us and made us feel comfortable getting the truck fixed with them and we will definitely be back and would recommend them to anyone. The truck is running like brand new. The customer service is amazing and the warranty is great as well. Thank you so much guys!!!
