My 20 year old daughter was having issues with her brakes, she went to 2 other shops in Santa Maria for quotes, they both quoted her outrageous prices for new rotors, pads and labor. I told her to try Tony’s, I pass by everyday on the way to work. He looked at them and told her they were just dirty and cleaned up her rotors. He charged her very fairly for his time. Her brakes make no sound now. He could have easily taken advantage of her age, gender and lack of knowledge of auto repairs like the others tried to. I would like to thank him for being a decent person and will let others know of the honesty and integrity this place showed.

Want to give props to Tony for servicing my car this afternoon. Thought it was just gonna be front brakes but Tony discovered I needed rotors as well. Ordered the parts, installed them and gave me a fair price for his work. Would definitely go back and recommend him to others!

Today my boyfriend needed his oil changed, our normal spot has had unreliable hours for over a year so we decided to try Calderons tire service on Blosser, they were VERY busy and we noticed across the street TONYS with only one car in the shop so we immediately said let’s try this place. It was past 5pm so the chances of finding another spot open on a Saturday during COVID is unlikely. We are very happy with his services, it was quick, we got to see him changing the oil, our total was $50 for full synthetic on a Prius (we’ve been paying $60 and a place in SLO quoted us $100) AND he is open until 7pm Tues-Sat! I think we found our new go to spot! He was friendly and engaged with us while we were checking out. Must give this guy a try! It felt good supporting a true small local business!

Took my vehicle here to get the rear bearings changed about 6 months ago. Found out today two of the rear bolts for the differential were cross threaded. Also, had my oil changed that same day since it was already in the shop. Found out later that week it only had 2 of the 6 required quarts. Someone needs to check this guys certification. This dude is a terrible mechanic. Don’t take your vehicle here
