Amigos General Repair

HIGHLY recommend this place for repairs. I had a technical issue with my 2013 Odyssey electric door and had previously gone to the Honda dealership and they suggested it was going to need full replacement (both electric and the door, not to mention the paint cost too) and it was not something I could afford based on their quote. Here on the other hand, Noe from this shop inspected the door and fixed the technical issue with ease without even having to replace anything! Best thing about that was that the price was nothing compared to what Honda had quoted me for. Noe was very patient with my vehicle and handled it with care. At the end of my vehicle’s repair, he suggested options if I were to run into future electric issues (I am aware my car is old and sensors stop working at times) with his own quote which were far more reasonable. I can say, as a woman, he’s a honest man of his work and trustworthy. That means a lot I’m these trying times.

WOW where to start. I went to this place because a good friend of mine recommended me to go there. He stated the owner Noe was honest and would give me a very fair in price. I went because my car needed to be repainted. The price quote was reasonable and I was told it was going to be ready in two weeks. A week after I gave Noé half of the cost, he asked me if I could give him $150 more from the original quote due to the fact that the paint was more expensive than what he anticipated. I put myself on his shoes and gave him the extra $150. When I went to pick up my car there were some unfinished parts that I pointed out as well as my antena missing. He apologized for losing my antena and said he was going to replace it brand new from the dealer. He said he’d have it ready within a month and offered to go pick up the car to my place of work, fixe the incomplete parts that needed to be buffed up, and return it back to me so that I didn’t have to go through any inconvenience. I was supper happy with what he said. Two weeks passed by and I didn’t hear anything from Noe. After a week I called him and when he answered he said the part hadn’t arrive yet. I gave him another month and when I called him back he acted like he did not remember me and said to go to his shop. When I went then and he saw me he must’ve remembered me but this time he wanted me to leave the car overnight for the repairs. I said “oh I’m sorry you said two hours” I had something to do three hours later. Where did “I can go pick it up at your place of employment, work on it, and take it back to you” go? He said to leave it there and was going to be ready in two hours. When I got the call to go pick it up. He had put on a used antena that belonged to a completely different car. It was big and bulky. The places he needed to buff up were just sprayed on with new pain and because they clean it well prior to that, there’s bumps and it just looks awful. The keys were inside and my car was left unattended. I just went inside and drove away. Ten minutes later Noé called me and asked me if I took the car because it was not there. Needless to say, I not only not going back but I definitely don’t recommend this place at all. I ended up ordering my antena and I got it within three days. Guys, there’s a lot better and more reputable places out there. Don’t waste your time with dishonest, unethical places like Amigos Auto Repair.
