Take 5 Oil Change

I love my guys at Take 5. The crew, even though understaffed (just like everywhere else in the world anymore) are always professional. I have been there twice so far and even with people in training-I am very impressed. I don’t care about waiting and I like seeing the staff having fun and laughing while they are working/learning. Helps the day go by faster, and the learning go easier for them! Keep up the great work and stay safe guys! You can’t please them all! :)

Went in for an oil change with my own oil, filter, and replacement drain plug and they told me it would be $60. WHAT? on top of that there was 5 or 6 dudes working there and they made me wait until the car to the left of me was finished so 4 of them were just standing around for 20 minutes while I waited. After they told me the price I left immediately. Just FYI a mile down the road at bb&c car care by the bowling alley/ croc center it only costs $20 if you bring your own stuff. Take 5 is not the place to go for a general oil change unless you want to spend more than double. Also they were arguing about who had to get under my vehicle to take off the oil pan and I thought that was pretty unprofessional. Just do your job dude

It was a horrible experience, I stopped by the day before to get an oil change and I literally waited for more than hour! It’s supposed to be an express service! I decided to leave and come back another day. I went yesterday and I got an oil change after 45 min wait!! What makes it even worse it says on the sign that there $3.99 service charge but they charged me $4.99!! I showed them the sign and where it says $3.99 and they still refused to change it! I have been to so many take 5 before and I never seen 2 persons work on the same vehicle but for some reason that’s how they did it making everyone wait even longer. Never coming back! Period!

Needed to take my daughter's car for an oil change. Between her schedule and mine, the oil change was overdue, but I had a chance to take it on a Saturday afternoon. It was the only place in town that was open, so I gave it a shot. Fast, friendly service. They even found a maintenance item that my previous quick oil change provider had never mentioned or suggested. Originally, I thought it was a tad pricey, but you get what you pay for and great service is not easy to find these days. Will absolutely go there again. My only request is that they add tire rotation and battery testing.

Been here for hr n half one car ahead of me sitting inside over half hr not even been spoke to will not ever be back one guy watching other one bullshitting with customer this place is terrible!!!! I guess take 5 means hrs should be negative stars then they would get 5!!!! Wow add another half hr still inside waiting!!! I have seen six customers leave behind me how this place stays open is amazing got here 330 its now 515 still here two guys on one truck over a hr

Great service! Kind employees. No complaints. I had my oil changed and got a new engine air filter. They advised me to get new tires, which I'd already scheduled with Walmart. They also offer a nice Veteran's discount. :)

This was our second visit to the take 5 in Ashland and we were fortunate to be served by the same two guys both times. They were quick, friendly, and very knowledgeable. I love that I don’t have to unload my kids from the car to take care of routine vehicle maintenance. We will continue to use their services.

Went on my lunch break (I get 30 minutes for lunch) and made it back in time and wasn’t late clocking back in. Service was great. My only issue is I wish that they would put their prices online for the services they offer and different oil changes. I will recommend them and will be going back to them for all future oil changes.

I recently stopped by this location for an oil change and had a disappointing experience. After being pulled into a bay, I waited 15–20 minutes while 3–4 employees focused on a single vehicle, despite mine already being in position. When they finally got to my car, I was given three pricing options and selected the mid-tier oil change for $82.99. However, I was later informed that my total would be $98.34—even after applying a $10 coupon. They failed to mention upfront that my vehicle required a “special filter” that cost an additional $13.99 and that there would be an additional $5 shop fee, which was never disclosed in advance. As I was handed the bill and expressed that I wouldn’t be returning, the employee sarcastically told me to “get my next oil change at Walmart.” I replied that I wouldn’t need to go to Walmart. I strongly recommend avoiding this shop. Poor communication, surprise fees, and unprofessional service made this a frustrating experience.
