Stivers Ford PRO Elite Commercial Service Center Introduce

Located at 1300 SE Stoneridge Dr, Waukee, IA 50263, USA, Stivers Ford PRO Elite Commercial Service Center operates under the "Auto Repair Stations" platform category. This facility is designed to cater specifically to commercial vehicles, offering repair and maintenance services, particularly for Ford trucks and fleet vehicles. The center aims to provide specialized support for businesses that rely on their vehicles for daily operations. For direct contact, the service center can be reached by phone at (515) 217-6861 or on mobile at +1 515-217-6861.

The Environment: A Commercial Service-Oriented Facility

As a "PRO Elite Commercial Service Center," Stivers Ford's facility is likely structured to handle larger vehicles and higher service volumes typical of commercial fleets. The environment would generally include:

  • Spacious Service Bays: Designed to accommodate commercial trucks, vans, and other large fleet vehicles, allowing for efficient movement and repair work.

  • Specialized Equipment: Access to heavy-duty lifts, diagnostic tools, and equipment specific to commercial Ford vehicles and diesel engines.

  • Parts Department: A dedicated area for stocking genuine Ford and Motorcraft parts, crucial for commercial vehicle repairs and maintenance.

  • Customer Service Area: A reception or service desk where customers can check in their vehicles, discuss issues with service advisors, and handle paperwork. While not explicitly detailed, the focus on commercial clients suggests a functional, rather than luxurious, waiting or reception area.

The overall atmosphere should ideally be one of professionalism and efficiency, given the critical need for commercial vehicles to be serviced promptly and accurately to minimize business downtime.

Services and Goods for Sale: Specialized Commercial Vehicle Care

Stivers Ford PRO Elite Commercial Service Center, as an "Auto Repair Station" within a Ford dealership, offers a range of services and goods tailored for commercial vehicles. These typically include:

  • Comprehensive Vehicle Diagnostics: Utilizing Ford-specific diagnostic tools to identify and troubleshoot complex issues, particularly electronic problems, as mentioned in customer feedback.

  • Routine Maintenance: Essential services such as oil changes, fluid checks, filter replacements (oil, air, fuel), and tire rotations, crucial for the longevity and performance of commercial vehicles.

  • Major and Minor Repairs: Addressing a wide spectrum of mechanical issues, from engine and transmission repairs to braking systems, suspension, and exhaust systems specific to heavy-duty and commercial Ford models.

  • Warranty Repairs: As a dealership service center, they are equipped to handle warranty-covered repairs for Ford commercial vehicles, ensuring adherence to manufacturer standards.

  • Genuine Ford Parts: Providing and installing genuine Ford and Motorcraft parts, ensuring compatibility, quality, and often carrying a warranty.

  • Fleet Services: Dedicated support for fleet managers, potentially including customized service plans, priority scheduling, and detailed reporting to help manage commercial vehicle upkeep.

The center's focus is on maintaining the operational readiness and reliability of commercial fleets, which are vital assets for businesses.

Features: Intended Expertise vs. Customer Experience

The "PRO Elite" designation implies a high level of expertise and service dedication for commercial clients. Ideally, features would include:

  • Certified Technicians: Technicians trained specifically on Ford commercial vehicles and equipped to handle their complex systems, including electronic issues and diesel engines.

  • Access to Ford Resources: Direct access to manufacturer technical information, specialized tools, and genuine parts, ensuring repairs meet Ford's specifications.

  • Focus on Commercial Downtime: A primary understanding of the critical need for quick turnaround times to minimize lost revenue for businesses.

However, customer reviews present a stark contrast to these intended features. The feedback highlights significant areas of concern:

  • Poor Communication: Multiple instances of unreturned calls, lack of updates, and unclear explanations regarding repairs and warranty status are consistently reported. This lack of transparency forces customers to repeatedly follow up, consuming their time.

  • Unprofessional Customer Service: Reviewers describe an "unprofessional experience," including service advisors blaming customers (specifically mentioning Mike Lebeda) and a general lack of respect for customers' time and concerns.

  • Questionable Diagnostic and Repair Practices: Concerns arise about technicians "throwing parts at a problem" without clear diagnosis, and issues like an alternator code clearing itself without a logical explanation. This suggests potential shortcomings in diagnostic accuracy, particularly with electronic issues.

  • Inaccurate Information and Lack of Timeliness: Promises of quick turnaround times are not met, and false information, such as a truck being on a test drive when it's stationary, erodes trust. Vehicles are left unattended for days without work being done or updates provided.

  • Disregard for Customer Value: The sentiment "This dealership clearly doesn’t value its customers" reflects a severe breakdown in customer relations, where even simple services like an infotainment issue are not addressed, despite multiple visits and considerable customer effort.

While an oil change might be handled satisfactorily, as one review notes, more complex issues, particularly electronic ones, appear to be a significant challenge for this service center, leading to considerable customer frustration and a perceived lack of value.

Promotional Information

As a Ford dealership service center, Stivers Ford PRO Elite Commercial Service Center would typically engage in various promotions, even if customer experiences suggest a disconnect. These generally include:

  • Service Specials: Regular promotions on routine maintenance items like oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections. These are often advertised on their website or through Ford's national promotions.

  • Parts Discounts: Special pricing on genuine Ford and Motorcraft parts for specific periods.

  • Fleet Account Programs: Tailored service and parts discounts for businesses with multiple vehicles, encouraging loyalty and repeat business.

  • Warranty Coverage: Promoting the benefits of having services performed by a certified Ford center to maintain warranty validity and ensure quality repairs.

  • Digital Appointment Scheduling: Offering the convenience of online scheduling to streamline the booking process for commercial clients.

However, it's important to note that while such promotions might be in place, the overwhelming negative feedback regarding service quality and customer communication may overshadow any promotional appeal. Potential customers are advised to consider the documented experiences regarding service fulfillment and communication when evaluating any offers. It is always recommended to directly contact the service center for current promotions and to thoroughly discuss expectations and timelines for any repair work.

Stivers Ford PRO Elite Commercial Service Center Customer Reviews

Stivers Pro Center has to be the worst place to take a vehicle for repairs. I scheduled the appointment three weeks in advance and told them how important for a quick turnaround would be for us. After initial diagnosis never received written estimate had to call back multiple times for updates, was told it would be warranty then told it wouldn't be under warranty, did not receive clear explanation of repairs needed and they couldn't clearly explain repairs pretty sure technician is just throwing parts at problem and hoping that fixes it. Mike Lebeda would rather blame the customer then admitting any faults with our company's experience at this dealership. I Finally called back again without receiving an update and was told truck was on 2-mile test drive even though we have gps on our vehicles and could see truck sitting across the street, then they finally provided an update but said the alternator needed to be replaced but when questioned about issue was told the code cleared itself. I wouldn't trust them to change a tire at this point and wouldn't recommend them for any repairs.

Never Again – Completely Unprofessional Experience To not waste other people's time reading the whole review, the main concerns are unprofessional customer service and, I guess, not very well-trained technicians, particularly in dealing with electronic issues. If you are looking for an oil change, you will likely be satisfied. I brought my truck in for an oil change and a minor infotainment issue on December 30th. The service advisor assured me it would take "a couple of hours." By the time I remembered to check in, the dealership had already closed – not a big deal, as I assumed I could pick it up the next day. However, the next day, no one called. On January 1st, I called to check in and spoke to another service rep who had no idea about the status of my vehicle. He promised to look into it and call me back – that call never came. On January 2nd, my original service advisor finally called to say the truck was ready. I went in, only to find that while the oil was changed, the infotainment issue hadn't been addressed. I left the vehicle for further service. I tried to be patient over the next few days, but by January 6th, after multiple unanswered calls, I had to physically go to the dealership. I was told they were "working on it" and that someone would call me with an update. Again – no one did. By January 7th, after more ignored calls, I returned to find the truck sitting in the back with no work being done. Meanwhile, three employees sat at their desks scrolling through their phones. I took the truck back without the problem being resolved. I completely understand that repairs can take time. However, professional businesses communicate delays, provide estimates, and respect their customers' time – none of which happened here. This dealership clearly doesn’t value its customers, and I won’t be returning.
