As part of our local guide to Auto Repair Stations and related services, we turn our attention to Route 39 Auto Salvage, an auto parts store located at 2799 OH-39, New Philadelphia, OH 44663, USA. While categorized under Auto Repair Stations due to its provision of goods essential for vehicle maintenance and repair, Route 39 Auto Salvage primarily functions as a supplier of used auto parts, catering to individuals and potentially repair shops seeking cost-effective solutions for their automotive needs.

Information regarding the specific environment of Route 39 Auto Salvage, such as the layout of the yard, the organization of parts, or the presence of indoor facilities, is not detailed online. Auto salvage yards typically involve a large outdoor area where vehicles are stored, and parts are often removed and organized for sale. Customers can generally expect to navigate through these areas to locate the parts they require. It's advisable to contact Route 39 Auto Salvage directly for specific details about their setup and how parts are accessed.

The primary service offered by Route 39 Auto Salvage is the sale of used auto parts. These parts are typically salvaged from vehicles that are no longer in service due to age, damage, or other reasons. Purchasing used parts can be a significantly more economical option compared to buying new components, making salvage yards a valuable resource for budget-conscious individuals and those working on older vehicles where new parts might be scarce or expensive. The availability of specific parts will depend on the inventory of vehicles currently at the salvage yard.

One customer review highlights an "Awesome truck selection," suggesting that Route 39 Auto Salvage may specialize in or have a significant inventory of parts for trucks. This could be a key feature for individuals specifically seeking components for pickup trucks or other larger vehicles. If you are in need of truck parts in the New Philadelphia area, Route 39 Auto Salvage might be a worthwhile place to inquire.

However, another customer review raises a point of concern regarding the service experience. This review describes a situation where the customer called ahead to confirm the availability and price of specific parts, was assured they were in stock, and then drove a significant distance (a 3-hour round trip) only to be told upon arrival that the parts were not available. The reviewer also mentioned a 30-minute hold time when initially calling. This feedback suggests potential issues with inventory management and staffing levels, which could lead to frustration and inconvenience for customers. It is important for potential customers to be aware of this experience and perhaps exercise caution when relying on information provided over the phone.

While the negative review points to a potential drawback in their operational efficiency, it's crucial to consider that this is just one customer's experience. However, it does underscore the importance of clear communication and accurate inventory management for businesses in the auto parts industry. For local users considering Route 39 Auto Salvage, it might be prudent to call ahead multiple times or seek detailed confirmation regarding the availability of specific parts before making a long trip.

Promotional information for Route 39 Auto Salvage is not available in the provided data.
