Many years ago, I bought a brand new 1997 Yamaha XV750 from the former Breyley Yamaha in North Royalton. Bob and Dave were good people. Once I started a family, I took a LONG break from riding. Unfortunately, the bike sat neglected in the garage for a long time. This year I started to get the itch to ride again and tried to get it going - it starts, but won’t run. Understandable as it hasn’t moved in a long time - it needs some TLC. With Breyley closing six years ago, I was very glad and excited to learn that their former tech, Ed, opened his own Yamaha repair shop. Initially, I decided to email Ed on May 18 so I can explain my situation in detail and send some photos of the issues. Three days pass and I didn’t hear back, so I texted him. He takes 2 days to respond to the text saying he’s booking at the end of June. I texted back to please put me in the books. Over a week passes and no response - see attached screenshot of texts. I called him during business hours. No answer each time, so I left messages to please call me back. Nothing. I have tried every means (except mail a letter) to get a hold of Ed. I have been patient. I have asked him to let me know if he’s just too busy to take me on. If so, I will understand and look for someone else. I hate to post a negative review, especially for a small local business, but at the time of this post it has been over 3 weeks since my first attempt at contact. Him coming from Breyley, I really preferred to have him work on my bike. I am sorely disappointed in the lack of care, communication, and professionalism. 😥

Brought wheels off my FZ07 in for tire replacement twice. Good price and fast turn around time. I’d recommend 👍

First time bringing my Yamaha smax scooter here for service and I will be back! Convenient location 2 miles from home and prices are in line with what i have been paying at those big places way across town where I was just a no name customer. Ed seems like a really nice guy who cares.

Update: Had the front and rear tires changed. Safety check and lube. Overnight service promise delivered. Quality work with a focus on safety. Ed's a wealth of knowledge. Learn something every time I visit. I will continue to return. Changed the rear tire on my KTM 1290 while I waited. Took about an hour.
