I went to Lightning Service because I received a coupon in the mail for a full synthetic oil change at $54.99. Upon arrival, I gave them the coupon. When it was time to pay, they stated there were multiple ‘fees’ like the ‘special filter’ fee which brought the total to $75.19. I’m not sure why you would not relay this to someone if the new total is going to be $20 more and ask for permission prior to just doing it. Ironically, that was about the price of the full price charge for this service. Also, I asked them to fill up the wiper fluid since I had a low fluid alert. He stated, ‘we already did’. Well, the next day I conveniently had zero washer fluid which was pretty inconvenient being in winter rush-hour traffic with no way to wipe my windshield off. I then had to stop at the gas station for $6 fluid. So all in all, added $26 out of my pocket and more work for myself.

Was very disappointed in service. I took my car to Grants lightening service & left overnight so they can check it out first thing in the morning. When I called 2 days prior, I told them exactly what was going on & what I heard. They told me they drove it around couldn't hear no sound and said to me "It would be $100 an hour to keep investingating the issue. So I told them to check out my radio fuse bcs I heard the fuse pop and radio is on just stuck on 1 channel and they told me it was not the fuse that it was some instrument gasket or something and to keep checking into it would be an extra $100 an hour. So No I said No Thank you & I got my keys and got out of there. Since Grant retired the service is so bad!!! would not recommend this place to no one!

Poor service today. I have been coming here for years to get oil changes. Loved all the little extras they did for you. Today no little extras were done, considering the oil change went up 35$. I was in the building for less than 5 minutes. Had to remind them to turn off oil light, they never showed me my oil was full. When asked to see it he said ..What you want me to show you AGAIN ..VERY RUDELY. You never showed me the first time. Still never showing me. I won't be back. I know this place is not owned by the same gentleman no more it can't be. The guys used to be so nice and ask you what type of oil. House brand or this kind. Now No questions just that will be $115... bye. get outta here. That's how I felt. So disappointed. I try to support small businesses but not here no more. Just a bunch of young guys that don't seem to care here now.

I have been coming here for 10 years. Never had a bad experience. I’ve even taken my wife van up there to have work done that another shop said it needed.(my wife took it there) Grant calls me an hour later and said nothing is wrong with it. That’s an honest mechanic. Just had my oil changed last week in my F150 and left some cash for the Jim and the guys to get pizza.

Stopped in due to striking a tire on the highway. Staff was friendly and HONEST. Didn't try to sell me on repairs I didn't need. Will definitely go back when needed.
