So I had a problem with my Jeep and I took it to two different places. They weren’t able to find the issue and suggested replacing things that didn’t need to be replaced and that “may help the problem”. I found Peter’s Automotive and let him know the dilemma. He immediately suggested what I was trying to suggest to the other mechanics in town. He is such a straight-forward old school mechanic that isn’t out for your money. He will find the problem, tell you what fluids to get at the store before the problem gets worse. He instantly became my go to mechanic, and it only took one hour visit. He was so honest and helpful, my wife got on and made a good review herself. I highly HIGHLY recommend him before any other shop in SLO. 20/10 service.

i am just absolutely blown away by the professionalism and work done by don. we brought our car in after being given the run around by multiple car shops here in the area and within 30 seconds of hearing our issues he had the answers that we needed. he’s the real deal and such a respectable and honest man. i seriously cannot recommend him enough!

My car broke down in San Luis Obispo. I was referred to Don from Peter's Automotive, and he diagnosed and repaired my car on a Saturday. Great service and really knows his stuff. He may not answer the phone as he is often in the shop working. Stop by and see Don for some quality work.

A Gentlemen worked on my vehicle. He did the work that was needed with TLC Or my Moms hand-me-down-vehicle. HE looks for other maintenance needs and leaves a note and a possible referral to another Great person to work on the vehicle. The charges are always right on with no extras. I feel confident when I leave my vehicle for maintenance and even better when picking it up. Thumbs up all the ways across
