Paul's Auto Repair & Transmission Customer Reviews

My car broke down on the way to San Diego the day before New Year’s so I had to take a ride on a flatbed back to the Desert with my car dropped it off at the shop didn’t think I was gonna hear for them or get my car back because of New Year’s and the next day it was done ready to go. I couldn’t believe it. I picked it up the next morning. I’m so happy the shop is great. It’s family owned and run. They’re very nice people and the prices are very fair.!! :)

Had an issue with my Promaster. We're from CO. The dealers were 1-2 weeks to get a diagnostic. This shop took a look, diagnostic, told me the problem, hey couldn't repair the sensor in time but they didn't charge me for the diagnostic. I like their urgency and desire to want to help me.

They will charge $45. For Diagnostics. Which was to read the Check Engine Light. I already had the CEL code brought up by AutoZone for free, but kept quiet... Wife mentioned it slowed while climbing hills. Without touching it, was told it was an internal sensor and warned not to leave town with it.. Local ok, but not the trip we mentioned coming up. $700. Estimate.. Really!?

Was charged 1600 dollars for trans rebuild and replace rear main seal , trans was not rebuilt and rear main seal started leaking 6 weeks later , they put in a shift kit which I never have permission for , and called it a day . Going to a reputable tranny shop to get a real rebuild done .
