Nissan Service and Parts Center Introduce

Nissan Service and Parts Center operates as an integral part of the official Nissan dealership network in Singapore, primarily managed by Tan Chong Motor Sales. This places it firmly within the Auto Repair Stations category, but with a crucial specialization: providing manufacturer-approved service, maintenance, and genuine parts exclusively for Nissan vehicles. Their comprehensive approach aims to ensure that every Nissan vehicle on the road in Singapore receives the precise care it needs to maintain its performance, safety, and reliability, leveraging direct access to Nissan's engineering specifications, diagnostic tools, and authentic components.

Environment and Facilities

As authorized Nissan service and parts centers, these facilities in Singapore adhere to global Nissan standards, ensuring a professional and efficient environment. Located strategically across the island (e.g., Leng Kee, Ubi, Jurong, Toa Payoh), they are designed to offer maximum convenience to Nissan owners. The service bay areas are equipped with state-of-the-art diagnostic equipment and specialized tools specifically calibrated for Nissan models. This allows their technicians to accurately identify and resolve complex issues unique to Nissan vehicles. The parts departments maintain a well-stocked inventory of Genuine Nissan (OEM) parts, ensuring that repairs are performed with components that guarantee optimal fit, performance, and durability. For customers, the facilities often feature comfortable waiting areas with amenities such as free Wi-Fi and refreshments, creating a pleasant experience. Some locations may offer services like a Key Drop Service for after-hours vehicle drop-off, further enhancing convenience. The overall atmosphere is clean, organized, and professional, reflecting Nissan's commitment to quality service.

These services are crucial for maintaining the vehicle's warranty, optimizing fuel efficiency, and preventing future issues.

  • Express Service: Many Nissan Service Centers offer "Express Service" for quick, essential maintenance tasks like oil and filter changes, tire rotations, battery diagnostic checks, and in-cabin microfilter replacements, often without requiring an appointment, making quick maintenance highly convenient.

  • Brake System Service and Repair: Thorough inspection, diagnosis, and repair of the entire braking system, including genuine Nissan brake pad and rotor replacement, caliper service, and brake fluid flushes, ensuring optimal stopping power and safety.

  • Tire Sales and Services: Offering a selection of recommended tires for Nissan models, along with professional tire mounting, balancing, rotation, and wheel alignment services. They ensure correct tire fitment for performance and longevity.

  • Engine Diagnostics and Repair: Utilizing advanced Nissan-specific diagnostic tools to accurately pinpoint and resolve "Check Engine" light issues, performance problems, and complex engine repairs, including tune-ups and component replacements.

Nissan Service and Parts Center Customer Reviews

Jacky is an amazing service advisor. Brought my Nissan leaf in for warranty repair and she was able to get me into a loaner vehicle. She kept me informed the whole time.

Currently, I am experiencing a longer than expected wait time for service at this Nissan dealership. Despite having an appointment, I have been waiting for over 4.5 hours, which is significantly longer than the initially estimated 2.5 hours. The system appears to be disorganized, which has led to some confusion. For instance, the technician assigned to my vehicle was momentarily unaccounted for, leading to a delay in receiving updates on the status of my service. While I did receive some information via text, the overall communication has been less than satisfactory. I am left wondering about the cause of the extended wait time. Furthermore, I feel that the staff, particularly David, could demonstrate more concern for the situation. His response when I inquired about the delay was passive-aggressive, and he seemed more focused on closing the paperwork than on keeping me informed. This was confusing, as we had already signed and paid for the service. Another point of concern is the lack of communication regarding transportation options. There was no mention of a shuttle service, which would have been helpful to know considering the service was expected to take at least 2.5 hours. Based on my current experience, I find it difficult to recommend this service center. I hope that my feedback can contribute to improving the customer experience in the future. If you'd like to talk, I had my service today for 9a, and it's now almost 1:20p. You should be able to find my number based on my name and appointment time. I will update my review based on what happens next. Thank you.

Everyone acted like leisure day 馃槶 Waited 20 minutes for help and I had an appointment. Also waited 10 minutes for someone to give me my keys and point out my car after services. New management but similar service to old management. Still need to work on better customer service 馃槪

Horrible work done on cars. Sometimes no work done when they say they did. The service staff were friendly and the driver was great. But the people that worked on my car didn't do the job properly. One time they didn't even touch my car, I looked at the level of antifreeze and it was at minimum. Another time they didn't install my tires properly. The nuts were not even hand tight. My cars transmission also gave out at 72k miles and it was a known problem where Nissan would pay for it. They said "my cars VIN wasn't showing up for the service" even though it was the year and model on the list of cars.

I took my car in to get a diagnostic, they were rude. They later called me with a quote of almost $3k. My husband then tried to talk to them about how the got to that number and what test the ran to get to that diagnostic. They were dismissive and could not give him a clear answer. We took my car to the Riverside Nissan service department, they were able to tell me what they thought was wrong, explained how they got to that conclusion and quoted less than than 1/5 of what was quoted at this dealer. I cannot help but feel like they tried to scam us, I disappointed that now i will have to drive to Riverside to get trustworthy/ reliable service.
