9am appt and they didn’t even bring back my car until 1030 and only when I asked them to. Didn’t leave until after 2pm. For an hour of brake work, this took way too long. Would not recommend.

My wife and I came to NC from TX for six months for the birth of our first grandbaby. When we first got here, I bought 2 Groupons for an oil change and tire rotation. I had the first oil change done within a couple of weeks of arriving in August. I had an oil additive to put in & I asked if they could put it in or leave it 1 quart low so I could put it in. They said that was no problem they would put it in. When I got in the truck to leave, there was the oil additive sitting on the seat. They either forgot or blew it off or something. I asked him if they could just let a little bit of the oil out and they said no way. Even though I’ve done basic maintenance on all my vehicles for years and know can, they just didn’t want to. this review is rather lengthy, but all the information is pertinent. At the end of September, hurricane Helene hit. In addition to that, I had to change my timing belt. Once they reopened, I went and asked if I should change the oil before or after I change the timing belt; they said AFTER. Now that I’ve changed the timing belt myself; I know that it has absolutely NOTHING to do with the oil. I could’ve avoided all this problem and just use the Groupon then before it expired. Anyway, I finally finish the timing belt and get things situated because we were displaced due to the hurricane and I go back to get my oil change done and they say it’s too late, it’s expired. Mind you, they did not even take into account all of the problems that hurricane Helen caused the area. They did not take into account all the time their shop was closed and I could not bring the vehicle in. They say I can’t use it because it’s expired AND they won’t honor the face value of the Groupon. Which is completely against Groupon’s policy per Groupon’s website: “What You Can Do: While we cannot process a refund at this time, you can still use it!: there is still good news! Your voucher may be redeemed at the merchant who issued it for at least the amount you paid for it, even if the promotional value has expired. In this case, the merchant is solely responsible for honoring the voucher up to the amount paid. We recommend reaching out to the merchant directly to take advantage of this option.” I called two different Mr. Tires and spoke with two different managers and they both gave me that same wrong answer. I finally called the corporate headquarters and spoke with someone there. This person had to call the manager THREE TIMES explaining to them how the Groupon policy works. THE COST OF THE OIL CHANGE AND TIRE ROTATION IS JUST UNDER $100; THE VALUE OF THE GROUPON IS $69.99. I said multiple times that I was willing to pay the difference of approximately $30+; neither manager wanted to accept it at all. *Even though I came in before it expired and spoke to them about the timing of the oil change itself.* If you’re going to work as a MANAGER a company that accepts coupons you should, at the very least, have a working knowledge of policy. We were getting everything done to leave town on Monday at the beginning of February, it took me two days of phone calls, and finally a phone call to the corporate office to get it all sorted out. Finally, on Saturday (2 days before we were scheduled to leave) I was able to have the oil change with tire rotation done and they applied my $69.99 Groupon credit to my bill. The work itself was adequate; (I did have an oil additive that I requested they put in and they forgot) but for all the trouble and poor customer service, I’ll go someplace else next time.

DONT GO HERE! SCAMMERS! Woke up this morning with a flat tire. Put some air in it and drove to Mr.Tire to either get the tire patched or replaced, upon their recommendation. I waited an hour and half and the front desk lady comes to me with a wrap sheet of problems my car has totaling over $2000! I politely say that I am visiting in town and will have my hometown mechanic take a look at these concerns. No less than five minutes after declining their $2000 bill, they bring me my keys and say there was nothing wrong with my tire. Again, my tire was FLAT this morning. I knew I already had a patch on that tire previously and I hit a piece of wood in the road the day before. Tires don’t just go flat for no reason. I promptly took it to another tire shop who told me the tire was bad and put a new one on there in less than 15 mins. The employees at Mr.Tire let me walk away knowing I was driving on a bad tire. They don’t care about their customers safety!

Took my new to me truck in for a low speed ticking in the rear passenger area. Another shop had looked at it a couple of days prior and said that the noise was an axle bearing and quoted me roughly $750 to fix it. Turns out that the TPMS sensor inside the tire had come unclipped. At low speeds it would roll around inside and drop against the inside barrel of the rim. Get fast enough and centrifugal force took over and the sensor stayed against the tire…. The folks here saved me wasting $750 and gave everything on the truck a good once over. Would give 10 stars if I could. Awesome people!

I was delighted to stumble into this awesome service center Cory and all of the staff were friendly, caring and truly held my satisfaction as their first task in fixing my truck. Although it was a pretty involved repair, these highly trained, knowledgeable crew made easy work of finishing on time and way sooner than I expected. I don't often give up this type of praise but these people know what they are doing. They'll give you sound advice and assure you are glad you chose them. I certainly was. Five stars plus !
