Motor City Quick Lube Introduce

Motor City Quick Lube, located at 29411 Schoolcraft Rd, Livonia, MI 48150, USA, operates within the "Auto Repair Stations" platform category, typically focusing on rapid, routine vehicle maintenance services. As a quick lube establishment, its primary function is to provide expedited oil changes and often other basic fluid services for motorists. They can be reached by phone at (734) 367-6458 or via mobile at +1 734-367-6458.

From the perspective of customer experience and public information available, the environment at Motor City Quick Lube, as described by patrons, appears to be a point of concern. While a quick lube typically aims for efficiency and a streamlined process to get vehicles in and out quickly, the user reviews suggest that the operational environment may not consistently meet expectations for quality or thoroughness. In an ideal quick lube setting, bays are organized, tools are readily accessible, and technicians work efficiently to perform services. However, the reported experiences indicate potential issues with the execution of services and the resulting impact on vehicles. An environment that leads to subsequent vehicle problems, as described by customers, implies a lack of proper checks, attention to detail, or potentially sufficient training among staff. The efficiency typically associated with "quick lube" services should not come at the expense of proper procedure and vehicle safety, which these reviews bring into question regarding this particular establishment.

The services offered by Motor City Quick Lube, falling under the "Auto Repair Stations" umbrella, are primarily centered around rapid oil changes and related fluid maintenance. This usually includes draining old engine oil, replacing the oil filter, and refilling with new oil. Beyond this, quick lube centers often perform basic checks of other vehicle fluids (transmission fluid, brake fluid, power steering fluid, coolant), tire pressure checks, and sometimes minor top-offs or replacements of cabin and engine air filters. The expectation for such an establishment is to provide these services quickly and competently, ensuring the vehicle leaves in at least the same, if not improved, condition regarding these specific maintenance points. However, based on the public reviews, there have been significant reported issues with the execution of these fundamental services. One customer reported being "charged for something they didn't even do," while another described a "loud ticking noise" immediately after an oil change, leading to potential major engine issues like a "fly wheel or my lifters." These accounts suggest that the core service of oil change and potentially other minor maintenance actions were not performed correctly or with the necessary diligence, leading to adverse outcomes for the vehicle owners.

The features of Motor City Quick Lube, as highlighted by customer experiences, unfortunately, do not align with positive attributes. Instead, the feedback points to several concerning aspects. A significant reported feature is a **lack of quality control and proper execution of services**. Customers explicitly state that services were either "not done right" or "they didn't even do" what they charged for. This directly contradicts the expected features of a professional auto repair station, which should prioritize accurate and complete work. Another prominent feature, as described by customers, is a **detrimental impact on vehicle health following service**. The alarming claims of an engine "could have blown" or a "loud ticking noise" leading to potential "fly wheel or lifters" issues immediately after an oil change are critical flags. This suggests that instead of maintaining vehicle health, the services rendered may have introduced or exacerbated problems. Furthermore, the reviews highlight a **lack of accountability and problem resolution** from the staff. When confronted about the ticking noise, the staff reportedly "couldn't tell me nothing or give me a reason why." This absence of professional explanation or a clear path to rectify the issue is a significant negative feature, indicating poor customer service in addressing immediate post-service concerns. Finally, the reviews strongly convey a sense of **untrustworthiness and recklessness**, with one customer unequivocally stating, "I would not trust this establishment to do nothing to your vehicle they are reckless and they really didn't care what they did to cause my problem to my vehicle." This collective feedback paints a picture of an establishment whose operational features are a cause for serious caution for potential customers.

Given the overwhelmingly negative sentiment and specific accounts of unsatisfactory and potentially damaging service, there is no positive promotional information to objectively present for Motor City Quick Lube based on the provided reviews. Instead, the customer feedback serves as a cautionary message for local users. The reviews actively **discourage patronage**, with explicit statements like "Worst place ever," "I don't recommend them to anyone," "I will never use there services again," and "STAY AWAY if you don't want any problems to your vehicle forreal...." These statements constitute a very strong and negative form of promotion, directly advising other motorists against utilizing their services. Unlike businesses with positive attributes that can be highlighted for promotional purposes, the public information available for Motor City Quick Lube focuses entirely on critical deficiencies in service quality, integrity, and customer care. Therefore, any "promotional information" derived from these reviews would inherently be a warning rather than an invitation. For a business in the "Auto Repair Stations" category, word-of-mouth and online reviews are paramount, and in this instance, the published feedback presents a significant deterrent for potential customers in Livonia, Michigan, seeking reliable and trustworthy vehicle maintenance.

Worst place ever. They charged me for something they didn't even do. I'm getting my car fixed due to them not doing there job right or knowing how to do it. My engine could have blown. I don't recommend them to anyone. I will never use there services again.

I definitely will not be going back there I been going to them for about a year and half and this last time about a month ago they changed the oil and filter and when they told me to start my truck up it was making a loud ticking noise. I asked why is my truck making that loud noise because it wasn't doing that before I came to yal. One of the dudes went up under my truck to check it and was down there for about 15 min I'm thinking to myself is he working on something because that was to long to be just looking at what the person did or didn't do that let my old oil out. So he came back up and said he let the new oil out and was going to put some more oil in it which was weird to me so after he did that I started it again and it was still making a loud ticking noise. They couldn't tell me nothing or give me a reason why so I left and I took it to a shop and they said it sounds like a fly wheel or my lifters which is crazy for this to happen right after them giving me a oil change. So this is why they are getting a one star, and I would not trust this establishment to do nothing to your vehicle they are reckless and they really didn't care what they did to cause my problem to my vehicle and they still charged me $90. STAY AWAY if you don't want any problems to your vehicle forreal....

Stopped in today for my usual oil change on my 23 Traverse. Staff was pleasant and quick as they are always. Best part is they never try to sell me something that I don’t ask for. They do exactly what I ask for and do it correctly 100% of the time. I recommend them to everyone I know.

Just pulled in on a Sunday with my family because our tires were low. The doors were closed and it looked a little dark inside, so we beeped the horn to make sure they were open and we weren’t waiting for nothing. The guys come out and open the door and start guiding us in, we were smiling and everything. We just said we need to get air in our tires, and the short guy with the long gray haired ponytail said “Finish following my guides first” so rudely. We didn’t say anything and said okay. The guy didn’t even acknowledge us as customers one bit. Then, he made another rude comment saying “You didn’t need to blow we heard you come in” which was also said very rudely. We will never be coming back to this place again.
