Mid-Ohio Auto Repair LLC

This is the 4th or 5th time my family has used Mid-Ohio Auto Repair. The first time, back in 2022, we had moved here from out of state and I was seeking a trustworthy mechanic to build a long term relationship with. They are hard to find, you know! So after reading some reviews, I dropped my truck off at Mid-Ohio for a 60k mile checkup. I was pleasantly surprised when they did a full evaluation, didn't charge me to do it, and also honestly advised that it needed nothing except ball joints and brakes in about 10k miles. So 10k miles later I had them do new ball joints and brakes; and I had them redo the suspension lift which was getting pretty saggy by then. They did top notch work. At my recommendation, my wife has had a few oil changes and tire rotations done on her car, and they did great work on that as well. And finally, I just had them do a lift, tires, and wheel swap on my new truck and they did a fantastic job on that as well. I feel that they are honest, which is hard to find in a shop. They are always respectful of my time. I think their pricing is on the low side of average, which is also appreciated. The shop itself is nice - the customer area is clean and well lit. I do a lot of my own basic maintenance but sometimes I just don't want to lie on the freezing ground in the middle of winter to drain my oil or change brake pads, so it is nice to have a resource nearby that I can trust to do good work, priced fairly. Hard working folks at this shop. They do all they can to meet and exceed your experience. Great mechanics, they know their stuff. The shop doesn't suggest unnecessary up sells. If they tell you your vehicle needs it, it is a fact they truly believe thar it will truly help you in the long run.

Great shop. They do their best to get your car or truck fixed in a timely fashion. I have gone here for years. I appreciate they don’t just throw parts at your cars problem they diagnose then advise and let you make decisions as to how you want to proceed. Highly recommended. Fair prices.

By far the worst mechanic I have ever been to. They told me I need to spend over $4,000 on an engine repair, because of a bent valve and a broken timing belt. I had the car towed to Greg's Auto repair in Galion. He informed me my car doesn't even have a timing belt, it uses a timing chain. He fixed the car for $350.
