So we took our little 20yr old mercedes that's in pristine condition it's been garaged kept its whole life to smithtown mercedes in St. Jamess NY... What a mistake!!!!! We took it for a recall on the sunroof that worked fine and when we got it back there was multiple chips and scratches on the car, the sunroof now broken, and they told us the motor was broken ( which we knew that was a lie because we opened and cloesd it before we took the car in ) then we asked them if the motor was broken how did they open it, which they said first it was broken when it came in then they said it broke when it was opened.. then I asked what about the dent on the roof and all the scratches on the side, they said they were there ,I noticed they took pictures of the car when it first went in, I asked to see them.. they saw it too, there was no dent and no scratches...lol.. So let's see what they will do and how they will respond to this... p.s. I have all pictures and videos to prove and support everything I said...

I posted a 3 star review previously, but I'd like to upgraded to a 5 stars. I understand that there were mistakes done form MB Service, and even maybe from me, but the service manager called me and gave me a sincere apology. I think that takes a lot of guts, even though is the right thing to do, but in today's society this kind of business considerations allmost is extinct, and I do appreciate when I see a business that understands and accepts when there is an issue and how to fix it. Don't go here, go somewhere else. I thought service centers were supposed to be reliable, but this one is not. After I brought my car back and paid for the service$16xx, the car popped up with a malfunction error message and the gas tank was empty. When I took the car back to the service center, they said they got the bill wrong and I needed to pay an additional $9xx for the previous service. They also forgot the recall service that was mentioned when I scheduled the first visit. I can't believe how many mistakes were made and I didn't get any apology. They just asked me to pay for their mistakes. And more, when I speak with my friend about this experience. They told me that other friend had a very troubling experience here too because of their careless and unprofessional. All in all, this is not a trustable service center, go somewhere else.

I had my car towed there because it would start. They did not call me to go over what services my car needed in order to be fixed. Instead they sent me an email that would not show you any prices unless you clicked accept first. Even though once you clicked accept it showed you the prices. Bit if you clicked to decline the work they still tell you that you accepted the work. Needless to say I declined the work anyway because it was $1200 more than the certified Mercedes-Benz mechanic I used to fix my car. The reason for this review is because by declining their work they decide to not put my car back together. To add insult to injury my $175 bottle of cologne was missing from my center console but I'll just Caulk that up as a loss because I should have never left it in the car. Needless to say I will never be bringing my car back there. Massapequa Mercedes benz is 1000 times better.

I went there for an oil change. Not only they did a full work up on the vehicle but also after servicing the car they filly fully clean it and advise of any upcoming issue/issues that need to be addressed. And not to forget my advisor Rob that provided an impeccable assistance.
