Mc Lenaghan Wholesale Tires Introduce

Mc Lenaghan Wholesale Tires, situated at 220 Darby Rd, Havertown, PA 19083, USA, operates as a specialized auto parts store primarily focused on tires, falling under the broader platform category of Auto Repair Stations due to its provision of essential vehicle components and related services. For direct communication, customers can reach them at (610) 789-5988 or via mobile at +1 610-789-5988.

The environment at Mc Lenaghan Wholesale Tires presents a somewhat mixed picture, as indicated by customer feedback. While the core business is clearly about tires, the human element of the environment is a point of contention. One review states, "Don't go near this place, they have a lot of tires. But they don't treat you with respect. The guy at the computer in front should be resting at home if he doesn't want to work anymore. He treats customers with disrespect." This suggests that while the physical inventory of tires might be extensive, the overall customer experience within the establishment may be significantly impacted by staff demeanor. A typical tire shop environment aims to be efficient and helpful, guiding customers through selection and installation. However, the feedback highlights potential issues with the interpersonal atmosphere, indicating that customers should prepare for interactions that may not consistently meet expectations for courteous service.

The primary services offered by Mc Lenaghan Wholesale Tires are clearly centered around tires. The name "Wholesale Tires" strongly implies a focus on offering a wide range of new tires, potentially at competitive bulk or direct-from-distributor pricing. A customer review explicitly states, "You can’t beat the prices here for new tires," which confirms their specialization in new tire sales and competitive pricing as a core service. Beyond just selling tires, a comprehensive tire shop typically provides a suite of related services to ensure proper tire functionality and vehicle safety. These services would include:

  • New Tire Sales: Offering a broad selection of tire brands and types for various vehicle models.
  • Tire Installation: Professional mounting and balancing of new tires onto vehicle wheels.
  • Tire Balancing: Ensuring even weight distribution across the tire and wheel assembly to prevent vibrations.
  • Tire Repair: Patching or plugging punctures for minor tire damage, where safe and appropriate.
  • Tire Rotation: Regularly changing the position of tires on a vehicle to promote even wear and extend tire life.
  • TPMS Services: Addressing issues with the Tire Pressure Monitoring System, including sensor replacement and reprogramming.
  • Wheel Alignment: Adjusting the angles of the wheels to ensure they are set to the car manufacturer's specifications, crucial for tire longevity and vehicle handling.
  • Air Filling Station: Providing facilities for customers to maintain proper tire pressure.
Their focus on wholesale pricing suggests they cater to both individual customers looking for a good deal and potentially businesses or fleets requiring multiple sets of tires.

Key features of Mc Lenaghan Wholesale Tires, based on the provided information, include a substantial inventory of tires and highly competitive pricing. The phrase "they have a lot of tires" indicates a wide selection, which is a significant advantage for customers seeking specific brands or sizes, or simply a broad range of options to choose from. The most compelling feature, however, is their pricing. The review "You can’t beat the prices here for new tires" is a powerful testament to their cost-effectiveness, suggesting that customers can find new tires at prices that are difficult to match elsewhere. This focus on affordability is a major draw for budget-conscious consumers or those looking to maximize value. Conversely, a notable feature from the negative feedback is the apparent inconsistency in customer service. The reported "disrespectful" treatment from a staff member at the computer is a significant concern, highlighting a potential area where the customer experience may falter despite the attractive pricing and extensive inventory. For a business operating in the auto parts and service sector, the quality of customer interaction is a crucial feature that can heavily influence overall satisfaction and repeat business.

Regarding promotional information, the most direct and compelling promotion for Mc Lenaghan Wholesale Tires comes from the positive customer review about their pricing. The statement "You can’t beat the prices here for new tires" acts as a strong, organic endorsement, directly communicating a key benefit to potential customers. For many consumers, the price of new tires is a significant factor in their purchasing decision, and this kind of testimonial can be very persuasive. While there isn't information about formal promotional campaigns like discounts or seasonal sales, the consistently low prices themselves serve as a constant form of promotion. However, it's also important to acknowledge that the negative review, while not a form of traditional promotion, acts as a critical piece of information for prospective customers. It highlights a potential trade-off between price and customer service experience. Therefore, any promotional message for Mc Lenaghan Wholesale Tires implicitly includes this caveat, suggesting that while the prices are excellent, customers might need to manage their expectations regarding the level of interpersonal service. Businesses thrive on positive word-of-mouth, and while the pricing aspect generates positive buzz, the concerns about disrespect could potentially deter some customers despite the financial benefits. For local users, weighing these two prominent features – unbeatable prices versus potential customer service issues – would be a key consideration when choosing Mc Lenaghan Wholesale Tires for their tire needs.

I don't know the name of the person in front of the computer, but he is a disrespectful person. Don't get close to that guy.

The tires are actually fairly priced since they are a wholesale outfit. The problem is the customer service. The first problem is that only one person (Steve I think) can wait on customers that come into the store. So if he's on the phone like he was or if he initiates a phone call like he did during my visit, you are in for a bit of a wait. He was on the phone when I arrived so I figured that I would be waited on or at least acknowledged once he completed the call. Wrong. He finished the call and looked up a phone number in a book and started another call while ignoring my presence standing in front of his desk. During this call, he clicked over and put two people on hold. After finishing the call he started, he completed the calls on hold as well. After that I was finally waited on. No apology for the delay, no "how may I help you" but rather a stare waiting for me to talk. I should add that during the call that he initiated, I asked the 3 other employees standing in the room if anyone else could help me and I was told that Steve was only one that could. I would never patronize this business again based on the lack of customer service and inattentiveness to courtesy. I posted this with the hope that they will read this and realize that selling tires is one thing but should definitely start with quality customer service and manners. (Mar., 2015)

Terrible service. I called continental tires cause I developed a side bubble on my tire within the first 12 months. My tires come with a 12 month road hazard warranty from the manufacturer. I call the manufacturer and they say I can go to any official continental tire dealer. So I Google maps and find one right around my block. I though this was awesome I'll just buy all my tires from him since he literally is around the corner. I walk into the store at which point no one greeted me, I said whatever, customer service can be made up in quality of work and work ethic. He says to me cause I purchased them online that he doesn't fix other people's mistakes... Wait what? The tire come with a warranty for this... I'm looking at your total confidence pamphlet on the dam table. I was going to legit buy all my tires from you. Terrible service. Went down the street to rossi. They greeted me and took my info and said they would call the manufacturer and let me know. Even if they didn't fix it right now, at least he know how a warranty claim works. Bums.
