Maaco Auto Body Shop & Painting

Got my 06 Mustang painted here about a year ago and it still looks great! They took slightly longer than they estimated but it was a fairly large job and the wait was worth it. Greg was a great point of contact and worked with to make sure we’d get a product that i was happy with. Their painter Bobby is very skilled and made sure my pin stripes were straight and clean. Highly recommend this spot and the pricing is reasonable as well.

Good services at good prices, I've brought two vehicles here to have some minor work done, they did a great job at decent prices. I was surprised how reasonable it was to have my son's bumper fixed on his truck, the quoted price was so good that I went ahead and I had them install a new grill on as well, something I was going to do initially but when I saw the price they were charging me I had them do it. Glad I did!

This is the second car we have had done at Maaco in Temecula, I posted before/after pics for contrast. Excuse the goofy wheels, it’s our son’s car… Unfortunately, the “after” pic really doesn’t do the car justice, the overall effect is nothing short of remarkable. The car just looks stunning now… But before I go telling people just take your crappy old car to them to get painted, I must make something clear-you MUST communicate to them EXACTLY what you want done, get it IN WRITING on the work order, and they will do that. This car had a separate body kit that had several minor (but noticeable) blemishes and they got painted over rather than fixed. That was on me, I didn’t make sure we were clear on fixing those beforehand. The positive is that the paint finish overall is very, very good. Not absolutely perfect, not talking glassy-smooth show car, but as good as factory, and if you want perfection you CAN cut and buff their premium finish because they use a very deep clearcoat. They took a little longer than I hoped, but there is no reason I wouldn’t go back… Five stars all day long…

Stopped in and got an estimate seemed like a great deal was Trying to surprise my son for his 16 th B day by painting the truck we just finished building . Dropped the truck off and was told 12-14 business days , after two weeks I stopped in and the truck was painted but they said they had to repaint a fender as it had fish eyes , no problem I waited another week no response so I called and they said the fender didn’t match after repaint so they would have to repaint the whole truck . After 1 month I got a call 4:30 pm truck would be ready to pick up May16th after 2:30 pm . May 16th 12pm I called and told manager I could not pick truck up before closing but was Off the 17th and could be there 8 am he responded with I’ll have to charge you $100 for overnight storage I said after having my truck two weeks over the expected time of completion he said yes that’s our policy you signed the paper …. I said ok I’ll be there before closing left work ( lost more then $100 in wages) got a Uber from Menifee to Temecula location and walked around the truck to find the Valance above the bumper below the grill had never been painted , they responded with I can remove it myself and bring it in they’ll paint in one day and I can pick it up ( probably wouldn’t have been upset other then they tried to charge me $100 for overnight storage for a vehicle that was not completed ) they wanted full payment which I paid knowing I have to remove a body piece and bring back for paint . The paint is orange peel looks good from 10 feet I didn’t expect show quality but it looked better the first time I seen it before they had to repaint . They sanded the rocker panels some areas to bare metal and did not spray them with paint I’ll include pictures … for the price I didn’t expect a show paint job but expected all panels painted and all areas they sanded I also didn’t expect to be threatened with over night storage ($100) charge after they were two weeks past completion and didn’t paint all panels . For a 16 year old boy driving to high school it looks good but very rushed and not complete . Also they agreed to remove emblems circled with yellow marker wrote trash removed two left the Third on the tailgate probably took longer to tape off then remove !!! I’m not upset it’s what I expected but there communication could be better with update as I had to keep calling and stop by I would have preferred they contacted me for the month rather then me continuing to call or stop in .

The repaint of the bumpers on my town car came out very nice and I am pleased with the results. I did notice however that my ignition key had been broken and super glued back together. Since this a coded key it will cost over 100.00 to have replaced and recoded.

Well this was my very first time ever to visit any type of auto shop. I have to say this was a great experience for me. I stopped in at Maaco Body shop on Commerce Center Dr. in Temecula. I was a little nervous at first...BUT... this SUPER nice, polite, knowledgeable and very helpful young man named "Greg" greeted me at the front desk. I told him what I came in for and he instantly took care of my problem. It was perfect customer service. I was so happy. He even took a few minutes and checked out around my car. I showed him a few nicks & he quoted me a very very reasonable price. When I am ready, this is the place I plan to come to get any body work done on my car. Do not hesitate to bring your vehicle for good and honest customer service. THANK YOU GREG!!!!!

This location has done a number of small items for me. Although these are small sales, they are always helpful and friendly. These are parts for custom cars and motorcycles, and the work has been flawless.
