B & R Buggie

I bought a dune buggy and had 4 people try to get it running in the past 8 months and couldn't do it (wast of a lot of money and time) I brought it in and within 15 minutes it was dialed in and running great! He definitely knows carbs and what hes doing. He also went through it and made a list of everything it needs so I'm bringing it back next week to have it done. So glad I found them they are definitely the best shop around and i think the price we agreed on is more then fair. Update...... I took it back we talked about what we had talked about and I added a few things, and he did an amazing job way past what I was expecting. I figured there would be more as he got into it but what he found he fixed and he was more then fair about it. I've never really drove it because it had so many problems and I didn't have the time to fix it and didn't really know how, he made it completely drivable the 1st time and did everything we talked about, I could not be happier and would highly recommend him If you ever need your car fixed this is the place!

Came in last week on Wednesday evening needing some trans/CV issues and Joe and his team came through and had the car out in Ocotillo by Friday night. Went hard on the car for 100+ miles and had not a single issue. Thank you Joe at B&R!

Highly recommend!! Brought them my sandcars unlimited and they got my carbs working perfectly! Very knowledgeable and fair prices!

Great customer service! B&R has been my “go to” place for years. Since there move from Coast Hwy in Oceanside to Ord Way (a bit inland from their previous location), they seem to have improved their showroom.

Gary at B&R is awesome! They just rebuilt a 2276 motor for my Manx. It runs super-strong. Plus, they stock a lot of parts for cheaper than I can find online.

If you want a project to go over budget and over the time promised, and for it to get returned to you not working this is your place. You’ll get frustrated by the lack of communication and the broken promises while they drag their feet not giving you any answers. See pics attached of my conversation with Joey. He promised to replace a turbo he acquired and installed which he said wouldn’t be “cheap Chinese crap” when it started leaking oil and he wouldn’t confirm where he got it from. Months later and not only no new turbo, but I can’t even get him to just give me a part number so I can do it myself at my own expense.
