Took my SUV here to have the air conditioning repaired and had a great experience! They were helpful, professional, explained the problem and repair well, set the expectation that they couldn't guarantee anything but would do their best to estimate cost, called to keep me informed on progress. I felt comfortable with leaving my car in their care and they certainly delivered. Would definitely go back in the future!

As a young woman, taking your car to get serviced is intimidating. You don’t know if you’re getting scammed or preyed on for knowing little about your car. I was going in for my 100,000+ mile check up (30k overdue ha). Jim and his son did a great job making me feel comfortable and building trust. They walked me through a ~$65 bumper to bumper inspection and promised not to do anything further until I heard their assessment AND a quote. They told me to take my time in deciding what to move forward with. The prices were very fair and they were FAST! Timeline: Tuesday night, I requested a quote on their website. Wednesday, I received an email back with a time I could drop off. Thursday morning, I dropped off my car. Thursday afternoon, received a phone call with quotes. Friday afternoon, picked up my repaired vehicle. I’m very happy with the service and will be coming back to support this local, family business :)

I always buy my gas at Lucas. Then one Sunday I had a flat tire. The puncture was on the side so it couldn't be plugged. They had the tire size and style I needed in stock and had me back on th road in about an hour. On a Sunday! Then months later, my dealership showed me that I needed new front brakes for over $700 (!?) So I took it to Lucas who scheduled me in 2 days and did a great job for less than $400. Staff is always friendly and helpful. Love this place!

My car has very low profile tires and I had a hard time finding a shop that would mount a new set for me. Lucas Auto Center seemed happy to do the work, so I gave them my keys, signed an authorization form, and waited. The process would take an hour and a half, they said. After two hours, a mechanic came out of the garage and placed a number of chewed up lugs on the coffee table. Many were missing the metal a tire iron rests on. "We finally got your tires off, but we destroyed most of your lug studs in the process. They swell and we couldn't get the proper tool on them. You'll have to leave your car here with us and we'll order new ones for your car, but they're not cheap and we can only get them from the dealer." These parts are $14 A PIECE, and I have 16. I had places to be and needed my car to get to them, so I started crying. Rather than stop and ask me what I would like to do after they destroyed the FIRST nut, they kept going and tore up almost ever one on the car. I complained (the person who was not the manager totally agreed with me but wouldn't go to bat over it) and they put the lugs back on, but there's no way to get them off without special equipment now, and when I asked if I could order online and provide my own and have them put on, they said "Sure, but we'll have to charge you." These people damaged my vehicle and overcharged me. Almost $200 to have tires mounted and balanced and the car in worse shape than I started.

These people are great! I've gone there for tire problems and routine maintenance. They have always been helpful and professional. They don't try to push more than you need. Prices are reasonable. They're open on weekends. Couldn't ask for more. Highly recommend!!

Jimmy is my go-to mechanic! He's an honest and upstanding guy who will fix things at a fair price, and he won't try to sell you repairs you don't actually need. Whenever I need my car serviced, I know I can rely on Jimmy to get the job done right.

A guy named Jay was unprofessional, a beverage had one price stuck on it literally and he pulled the sticker off right at the register and charged more saying that it’s what the machine says. Bait and switch. Unbelievable!!! Wow!! And was unapologetic about it. That was my first visit there, bad service.
