Conrad's Tire Express & Total Car Care

DO NOT GET TIRES FROM CONRAD'S THEIR INSTALLATION IS UNSAFE AND NEGLIGENT. I purchased 4 new tires from Conrad's and had one tire blow out on the highway 2 days after installation. The tire was torn to shreds. That tire was replaced under warranty and I paid a fee for installation. Three Days later that tire went flat with a leak. I brought it in and was told that a mistake was made with the first two installations which were not done according to their protocol as one of the technicians noticed when they were inspecting my car. I was assured that the issue was resolved and a third new tire was replaced. Now, just over a week later I have TWO additional leaking tires. The technicians have been apologetic and reasonable, which is why I did not leave a negative review sooner. But their customer service does not make up for the serious concerns I have for my safety and others should be aware. I understand that cold temperatures can cause thermodynamic changes that effect tire pressure, however, the degree deflation I am experiencing in multiple newly installed tires when I have never previously had issues with tire pressure in my car is alarming. I will be filing a complaint with the Ohio board of motor vehicle repair.

I’m glad I took my car here instead of Firestone; I got a much better deal on parts and labor (hundreds less) and the service was friendlier. They didn’t try to sell me anything I didn’t specifically ask for which I appreciate. Will definitely be returning next time I need work done.

Shout out to Dave at the front desk!!!! His customer service skills were great! Just a little back story- I scheduled a 9am appointment at another location and when I arrived I was told they could not accommodate me but possibly on Monday or Tuesday. I called two other locations and they were either booked or under staff. But when I called Conrad’s Lakewood they helped me out, if I could drop my car off. I just want to say I appreciate Conrad’s in Lakewood and will forever be a customer. I will refer anyone that needs tires or car service repairs. Also Dave, suggested tires that would meet my work & personal driving needs. I didn’t feel like he was trying to oversell me on products. I’m so grateful for your kindness and best customer practices. Thank you, thank you.

Conrad's. Honesty and integrity go hand in hand, I had a small problem with my car and was told "I'm going to talk to a guy I know, I'll be right back " 2 minutes go bye and he says "how about you pull up to the 5th bay and he'll take care of you,just throw him what you think it's worth " we shook hands and I pulled down to bay 5 and 3 minutes later tha tech says "you're all set " that was worth $25.00. Shop local. I'm the hubber that brings the rubber.

**PLEASE, TRUST EVERY REVIEW THAT SAYS DO NOT BRING YOUR CAR HERE** I had left a previous 2 Star review that I removed, because the front desk manager was nice and apologetic and I wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt. Well, they apparently didn’t fix the problem the *SECOND* time I brought the car in and will be bringing it in a *THIRD* time I brought my car in for a set of new tires I paid over a thousand dollars for. Driving down the highway, my low tire pressure light came on. I pull over to find my front left tire at 20 PSI, the back tires at the proper 32 PSI, and the front right tire at *40 PSI* - which means either someone was incompetent enough to under inflate one tire and over inflate the other, or they were just bad at their job and improperly seated the front tire, and for fun overinflated one tire to 40 PSI. Poor workmanship, with a 20 PSI differential (with one tire deflating) going at highway speeds put my car (and everyone on the road around me) at risk of a blowout. Well I brought it back in the second time. The older guy at the front desk, like others will note, is very kind and apologetic. So I deleted my past review. As others will also note in their reviews, bringing it in a second time and getting the apology is no guarantee they actually fixed it. Driving down the highway, once again my low tire pressure light came on. If you care about the safety of your self, passengers, or just don’t like the idea of your car malfunctioning at 70 MPH - AVOID THIS PLACE. Like other reviewers, I will also be filing a complaint with the Ohio board of automotive repair.

What a rip off. My girlfriend took her car in and it magically wouldn't start. She was so confused. They proceeded to gaslight her so bad she had to call her father down. Told her she needed a new alternator, it would be $900 something. Went back today, and GREAT NEWS!!! It seems OIL somehow GOT ON your mass airflow sensor so we only had to replace that, it will be way less. YOU GOT OIL ON THE SENSOR. That should have never happened and should not have cost a dime. Never again will i ever go to a Conrads anywhere thanks to this guy. Bravo. ​
