Kirk NationaLease Co. Introduce

Kirk NationaLease Co., located at 1309 S Clay St, Troy, OH 45373, USA, operates within the Auto Repair Stations category, providing essential services and goods for a range of vehicles, with a particular focus on diesel engines and commercial trucks. While the name suggests a specialization in leasing, their offerings extend significantly into maintenance, repair, and parts supply for these types of vehicles. You can reach them by phone at (937) 335-8337 or on their mobile at +1 937-335-8337.

Environment and Facilities

As an auto repair station, Kirk NationaLease Co. likely features a dedicated service bay area equipped to handle large commercial vehicles, including trucks and potentially buses. The environment would typically be a functional workshop setting, designed for efficiency in vehicle diagnostics, repair, and part installation. While specific details about the waiting area or customer facilities are not provided, it's reasonable to expect a space for customers to interact with service advisors and await updates on their vehicles. Given the nature of their work with heavy-duty vehicles, the facility would be set up to accommodate specialized tools and equipment necessary for diesel engine work, brake systems, and other complex commercial vehicle components.

Services Offered

Kirk NationaLease Co. provides a range of services tailored primarily for diesel vehicles and commercial trucks. Based on customer feedback, their core competencies appear to include:

  • Diesel Engine Repair: This is a significant area of their expertise, covering diagnostics, maintenance, and repair of diesel engines, which are common in commercial trucks, buses, and various industrial vehicles.
  • Air Brake System Repair: A critical service for commercial vehicles, ensuring the safety and compliance of large trucks. One customer specifically praised their swift response and effective repair of an air brake failure during a road trip, highlighting their capability in emergency situations.
  • General Truck and Commercial Vehicle Maintenance and Repair: Beyond specific issues, they likely offer routine maintenance, diagnostic checks, and repairs for various mechanical and electrical issues that can arise in commercial fleets. This would include addressing issues with components like actuators, as mentioned in one customer's experience, even if the service itself didn't go as planned in that instance.
  • Emergency Roadside Assistance/Service Calls: A notable feature is their willingness to provide service calls, as demonstrated by their assistance to a customer with an air brake issue a few miles away from their shop. This suggests a commitment to minimizing downtime for commercial operators.
  • Auto Parts Sales: As an auto parts store operating within an auto repair station category, they would stock and sell a variety of parts necessary for the repairs they perform. This includes common wear-and-tear parts as well as specialized components for diesel engines and truck systems. The need to order specific parts, as mentioned by a customer, indicates their ability to source parts even if not immediately in stock.

Features and Customer Experience

One of the standout features, when operations run smoothly, is their ability to provide swift and effective service, particularly in emergency situations. The positive review highlights their dedication to "going out of their way to make sure we were taken care of," which speaks to a strong customer service orientation and problem-solving approach. Their availability for diesel-related issues "anytime day or night" suggests a level of responsiveness that is highly valued by commercial vehicle operators, who often face tight schedules and unexpected breakdowns.

However, it's important to present a balanced view, as customer experiences can vary. One review describes a significantly challenging experience, characterized by communication breakdowns, delays, and apparent disorganization. This customer reported that their truck was left untouched for an extended period, with staff seemingly unaware of its purpose or status. This indicates potential issues with internal communication, tracking of vehicles, and customer follow-up processes. The difficulty in establishing an account with a parts warehouse, as described, could also point to administrative hurdles that might impact service efficiency.

Promotional Information and What to Consider

Based on the available information, Kirk NationaLease Co. positions itself as a reliable partner for diesel and commercial vehicle repair in the Troy, OH area. Their key promotional points would likely revolve around:

  • Expertise in Diesel and Commercial Vehicles: They are clearly equipped and staffed to handle the specific needs of these vehicles, differentiating them from general auto repair shops.
  • Emergency Response Capability: Their willingness to make service calls and assist with roadside breakdowns is a significant selling point for businesses and individuals relying on their commercial vehicles.
  • Comprehensive Service and Parts: As an auto repair station that also functions as an auto parts store, they offer a convenient one-stop solution for both diagnosis and repair.

For potential customers, especially those with commercial fleets or diesel vehicles, Kirk NationaLease Co. could be a valuable resource. Their ability to handle critical issues like air brake failures quickly is a testament to their technical skill and commitment to getting vehicles back on the road. However, it is advisable for new customers to clearly communicate their needs, confirm timelines, and maintain regular contact for updates, particularly for longer repair jobs. This proactive approach might help mitigate some of the communication issues experienced by others. While one negative experience is concerning, the positive feedback about their emergency service suggests that when their processes align, they can deliver exceptional and timely support, particularly for urgent diesel-related problems. Local users in Troy, OH, and those passing through with commercial vehicle needs, should consider Kirk NationaLease Co. for their specialized services, keeping in mind the importance of clear communication throughout the repair process.

Kirk NationaLease Co. Customer Reviews

These guys are the best. We were on a road trip from Michigan to Georgia and our Skoolie had an air brake failure. They made a service call to us a couple of miles away and got us up and running within a few hours. I would call these guys for anything diesel related anytime day or night. They went out of their way to make sure we were taken care of. I really wish we had a shop like this where we live in Michigan that had such great service. Great group of guys. I'd give more stars if I could.

Terrible, terrible, terrible!!! Took our bucket truck to Kirk Nationalease to get the actuator on the joystick to the bucket fixed. They had it a month and did not even touch it. When we called after two weeks of not hearing from them as promised, we learned it was the mystery truck and nobody there even knew why it was there, even tho we gave them the key and info in person when we dropped it off. They were not even smart enough to call the phone number on the side of the truck. From there they told us they would look at it and call us in 2-3 days. Again no call from them, so we called and told them again what was wrong with it and was told they hadn't had a chance to check it out but would look at it and call us in a few days. Still nothing from them. On the third call we were told they found the problem and had to order the part, but had to make an account with the parts warehouse first because they didn't already have one. We heard nothing from them once again...So when we called the last time, they confused our truck for another company's bucket truck which told us that they worked on another truck ahead of ours and left ours sit. We decided to take a drive and see if our truck had been moved, and low and behold, it had not. One of the mechanics came out and told us that the truck had not been touched. Just so happens there is another service center right next door that could fix our truck so we moved our truck next door to Herrmann's and its getting worked on Monday. Kirk's, you cost us thousands of dollars with that truck sitting while you had your thumbs in your asses so I hope this review cost you a few bucks in return if you can't do any better than that!!! Oh and whenever you see one of our trucks next door you can suck it, because thats where every piece of our equipment will go from now on! Ps. The only reason Kirk's got one star was because we had to give one to do a review, but really they deserved no stars because they did absolutely nothing!!

I was only there to install electronic log units in the tractors ceva stores there. Both of the employees were busy the whole time and very helpful when I needed it.
