SENIOR CITIZEN SCAM!! They have taken advantage of my parents aged 88 and 84 who originally contacted this mechanic about repairs to their car. This business has had their car since November 29th, ALL SERVICES PAID IN FULL. CHRIS WILL NOT STAND BEHIND HIS WORD! They have promised my parents the car will be done on different dates and time, my parents drive there only to find that Chris is not there and he is the one that arranged the time for pick up, or it is closed. After many phone calls from family members and the latest one this morning I spoke to Chris and requested if he can drive the car to my parents home, less than 15 minutes away and he assured me he would have it there by 4:00 today—-NO SHOW, NO CALL, NO CAR AND WILL NOT PICK UP PHONE! My parents have continually called, my daughter in law has called, once he sees the number he won’t answer and it goes to voicemail! In summary CHRIS has possession of car, received full payment for repairs not delivered and has an unsafe work environment. To make matters worse my father who is 88 years old fell down in his shop and the man that was there had the nerve to tell him he needs to watch where he is walking at the same time my mother who is 84 is trying to help him up! No one that was there offered medical assistance or offered to help get him up, He has several cuts and contusions and will be visiting a doctor tomorrow. If ANYONE READS THIS TAKE NOTE THAT YOU ARE TAKING A CHANCE ON GETTING YOUR VEHICLE BACK! He breaks promises and no contact to us as to why the delays! One star is to much, If a NEGATIVE star was an option that would be the only one to choose.

Chris has been my personal mechanic for the past 8 years good business is good business and bad business is bad business and over the last eight years I've experienced good business. Definitely the best prices around town. Does a good job on time. Very efficient.

this is review is in regard to chris schneider auto repairs that works out of jims schneider maintenance service in medina ohio. i had a transmission replaced on my tahoe truck. chris told me that he found a rebuilt trans and he went ahead and put that into my truck. after a little over six months the trans went again. the warrenty was for only six months and he would not do anything in regards to replacing it. i left the trunk with him for several days and he said he took it somewhere and said that the cooler was plugged up which caused the trans to over heat and fail. he also told me there were no metal shavings in the trans pan. i took the truck to a transmission shop in akron to get repair. the mechanic there told me the cooler was fine and showed me the shavings in the pan. after looking into it more and the markings on the trans it was determine that this was a used trans purchase from a junkyard with at least 10000 miles on it. i paid for a rebuilt trans which would cost over 1000 dollars more than a used one. everything chris said to me was a lie . he wanted to take the trans out why someone else wouldnt see what he did he had worked on the truck several time before and had similar issues with a fuel pump needed replaced several time. i really believe he is using used parts and charging rebuilt or new prices. i have an lawyer looking into this. the mechanic that fix the trans told me i should get all my money back from him which was 2200 dollars for the trans job. this guy is not honest and is out to rip people off. do not use him if u what an honest job
