My experience at Redline Transmissions recently was beyond excellent. The owners Rachel & Karl are very accessible by phone & email and helped me very much with selecting the right transmission build for my Ram dually with 165,000mi on the odo and kept me updated on the build progress. Payment build and freight shipping logistics to Texas were expertly organized and I took delivery from payment date, to build time to the bed of my truck at the freight carrier depot (my option) in 14 days. What I was really impressed with was not only the top quality transmission build by Karl, but the amazing front office expertise with Rachel. She had all the answers, processed my internet payment and had all the shipping details & documents lined up for delivery, and also the core return documentation so my time at the carrier depot both ways was minimal. The freight cost (very reasonable) was included in the price, no extra "gotcha" charges whatsoever. The semi-driver even called me an hour before delivery at the depot so I could load it up (free) & drop it off for installation right away. The particular install instructions for the mechanic are very detailed & thorough, including the warranty info certification. The reusable tailor-made shipping container is so well built it must be almost bullet proof & you use it to ship the core back. The pics below show what it looks like. Redline is terrific company from very aspect. Their pride & craftsmanship is in every facet of what they do. If anyone asks, or even if they don't, I'll recommend they go to Redline Transmissions. I got zero compensation for this review...they are just that awesome.

I have had a very very excellent experience with redline, I asked quite a lot of questions via email, and they would respond within a few minutes every time, very nice and professional people, they know what they are talking about and make a very nice quality product. I purchased a built 47RE transmission for my ram pickup and it has been driving beautifully so far, amazing customer service, great product, and a pleasure to work with. Definitely recommend Update : I have put about 700 miles on the transmission and it has been performing beautifully so far, very nice quality product 1 YR UPDATE : after a year installed the transmission is still performing perfectly. No issues and is very reliable. Towing is easy and powerful. Beautiful job they did building this transmission.

Have had Redline Transmission in my truck currently for about 1200 miles. Transmission is very solid and you can defiantly feel the transmission holding onto the gears longer while in use. Another big plus they had my truck in and out in 5 days. This was great because my truck is my daily driver and tow rig. Got to keep the miles off the wife car. 100% recommend this company. Can't wait to tow the fifth wheel this summer.

I recently had the transmission of my '05 F350 with the 6.0 rebuilt by Redline. It had about 274,000 miles on it when I took it in. I picked this company from the Google reviews and opted to go with them based on customer approval. I want to add my approval to the list of satisfied customers. From the very first call I made to them, I had a sense that they were professional and conscientious. The owner's wife, Rachel, is so courteous and professional that I felt like I was talking to a longtime friend within minutes. She explained the process and what I could expect from the build. Then she asked me a number of questions about how I use the truck, and based on that information she gave me her recommendation for the build by explaining it in terms that were understandable to the uninitiated (ie, me!). When Rachel called me to inform me that the truck was ready for pick up, she cautioned me to expect firmer shifts than I was used to and to let it break in for 500 miles. After the break in I was a little uncertain as to whether the way it shifted from 3 to 4 was ok because it was quite a bit different (more aggressive) than I was used to. I called Rachel and she explained that that was where the torque converter "locks up", but that if I was concerned that I could bring it in and Carl would check and make sure everything was good to go. Carl road tested it and said it functions as it is supposed to according to how they built it to the way I use the truck - which is some pretty heaving hauling in some very hilly and twisty roads down to our property in southern OH; often hauling a skid steer or backhoe. From start to finish these people have been wonderful to work with. I am 66 yo, own a machine shop, pastor a small church, and one of the things I like to look for is to do business with people who are nice, friendly, professional, and trustworthy. I deem Redline to be all of these. When I spend my money I want to at least be treated with courtesy and respect; Redline is a 10 out of 10! I was recommended the 700 68rfe. And this is the smoothest shifting built trans i have felt. Super fast turnaround, too. If you're kinda far like I am, don't worry. They are super helpful with options and ideas on how to get your truck back to you quickly.
