I use to like this company and its products. But I had an awful conversation on the phone today with one of their representatives. On my 2003 Chevy Dually I had originally purchased a set of these the first year I bought the truck. They were great and didn't rattle also had the Chevy Emblem on the center caps that came with the kit. About a year ago either someone stole one of my covers or it fell off and I called JAE to see if I could replace the one cap. I was informed that they couldn't break up the sets that way. I agreed and I purchased a replacement set at the time it was nearly $400. The packaged arrived in good shape and there were yellow straps on the box. I put them in storage and a year later pulled them out today to install them as I am selling my truck. When I opened the box (for the first time) I couldn't find the DECALS with the Chevy Logo on them. I checked the box and there were no holes in the box therefore no way for them to go missing. So I called JAE today and explained the situation to the man on the phone and he could care less. He didn't even say sorry. Instead he said since the order was so old that he couldn't help me and I would have to order NEW DECALS. I explained that I could take pictures and document that the box is in tacked and the straps had just been removed. Again he didn't care and repeated their policy. So I asked him "Am I the first person to ever call in with missing Decals?" He said no I wasn't. Clearly this has happened to others. But again he didn't care and all he did was repeat the dumb policy. I said "really!?, I have to buy new Decals even though I already spent nearly $400 on these just for 1 replacement cover." He didn't try to work with me at all other than try to sell me Decals that clearly they owed me. I was treated like a common criminal and at the very least you would think there would be sympathy but there wasn't he just started talking to me with disdain. So I informed him that I was going to never purchase another thing from JAE Enterprises and that I would let everyone know how I was treated today and inform them they shouldn't do business with a company who would talk and treat a customer this way. FYI: If the guy was at least sympathetic I would have at least felt better about the fact that I got hosed by this deal. I might have even just ordered the replacement Decals. But he was a jerk and didn't give one damn about my plight. Horrible Customer Service. Another company more interested in Policy than doing what is right. If you can buy from some other company I suggest that you do; as they do not deserve the business.
