I own a BMW 750 LI, a car that I truly enjoy, but lately, it’s been plagued by an overheating issue that I just couldn’t resolve. After replacing several parts, I still couldn’t get to the bottom of it, so I began searching for a reputable radiator shop that might offer some expertise. Several people referred me to Industrial Radiator Service in Santa Maria. Although it’s about an hour away from where I live, I was willing to make the trip if it meant getting to the root of the problem. I decided to make the drive early, arriving just as they opened. When I walked in, I was greeted by Doug Jeffers, the owner, whose warm and friendly demeanor immediately put me at ease. He treated me like I was his best customer, even though he had never met me before. Despite his busy day ahead, Doug took the time to listen carefully to my concerns and the ongoing issues I’d had with the BMW's cooling system. However, after a thorough discussion, Doug explained that the complexity of BMW’s cooling system posed a unique challenge, and his shop might not be the best fit for this particular issue. He mentioned that he had recently worked on a similar BMW and had encountered a myriad of unexpected complications, a “can of worms” as he put it, which made him reluctant to dive into another BMW project. What stood out to me, though, was Doug’s integrity and dedication. Instead of rushing me out the door, he invested his time in explaining my options and encouraged me to find a specialist who specifically deals with BMW cooling systems. This, in my experience, is rare. Most business owners would have politely sent me on my way to focus on more profitable jobs. But Doug was genuinely concerned with helping me find the right solution, even though he wasn’t going to profit from it. The people who referred me to Industrial Radiator Service were absolutely right in their recommendation. Doug is not just in it for the quick sale—this family business has been around since 1974, and it’s clear that Doug takes pride in doing right by his customers, even when it means turning down work. It’s refreshing to see someone so invested in ensuring people are well taken care of, whether or not they’re paying customers. Although I didn’t end up using their services, based on Doug’s honesty, professionalism, and the way he handled my situation, I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Industrial Radiator Service to anyone. It’s the kind of place you know you can trust, and that’s something rare to find in any industry these days.

Owned by the same family for over 50 years. Sister works at the front desk brother runs the garage itself. Very helpful went way out of their way to be accommodating. Help me when I was five hours from home. Be sure I made it safe. I really appreciate your customer service. It was second and none.

I had my radiator repaired at a very Good price, the staff was extremely knowledgeable and very friendly.... I will definitely do business with them again... The best place in town to get your radiator repaired and serviced!
