High Point Introduce

High Point, located at 7525 Brandt Pike in Dayton, OH 45424, operates under the broad platform category of Auto Repair Stations. However, based on customer reviews, its primary specialization within this category is clearly focused on **wheels and tires**. This suggests that while it falls under a general automotive service umbrella, its core business revolves around the sale, installation, and possibly repair of automotive wheels and tires, catering to individuals looking to replace worn tires, upgrade their vehicle's aesthetics with new rims, or address wheel-related issues.

The environment at High Point presents a stark contrast depending on the customer's perspective. One review describes a highly positive experience, implicitly suggesting an environment where customer care and satisfaction are prioritized, and where a strong, positive reputation has been built over many years. This could indicate a functional, albeit possibly no-frills, setup that prioritizes the specialized services it offers. However, another review paints a dramatically different picture, calling the "Place is a disaster" and describing it as "Very unprofessional business." This suggests a potentially disorganized or chaotic physical environment, which could impact the overall customer experience for those who value neatness and structure. The varying descriptions imply that the atmosphere might be less about polished presentation and more about the direct, transactional nature of purchasing wheels and tires, with significant variations in perceived professionalism.

The services and goods for sale at High Point are largely centered around **wheels and tires**. This would include:

  • **New and Used Tire Sales:** Offering a variety of tire brands and types suitable for different vehicles and driving conditions, potentially including both new and more budget-friendly used options.
  • **Wheel Sales:** Providing a selection of aftermarket wheels (rims) for aesthetic upgrades, performance enhancements, or replacement of damaged wheels. This is a core strength, as customers specifically "ask around for the best place people for wheels, people will HANDS DOWN say Joe at High Point!"
  • **Tire Mounting and Balancing:** Essential services for safely installing new tires onto wheels and ensuring proper balance for a smooth ride and extended tire life.
  • **Tire Repair:** Patching or plugging punctures for minor tire damage, extending the life of existing tires.
  • **Wheel Installation:** Professional attachment of wheels to vehicles, ensuring correct torque specifications.
  • **Tire Rotation and Inspection:** Routine maintenance services to promote even tire wear and detect potential issues early.
While the "Auto Repair Stations" category might suggest broader automotive repairs, the customer reviews heavily emphasize their specialization in wheels and tires, making these the primary services and goods offered.

The features of High Point are strongly highlighted by conflicting customer testimonials, offering both compelling positives and significant negatives. A major positive feature is the **exceptional pricing**. One customer explicitly states, "The best prices around locally," indicating that High Point offers highly competitive rates for wheels and tires. Another prominent feature is the **strong local reputation**, particularly associated with "Joe" (presumably the owner or a key individual). The phrase "he has a MAJOR reputation without advertising so that shows me all I would ever need to know about High Point! If you ask around for the best place people for wheels, people will HANDS DOWN say Joe at High Point!" underscores a powerful, long-standing positive reputation within the community, built on word-of-mouth. Longevity and customer loyalty are also significant, with a customer being "a customer for 15+ years" and stating it's "the only place I will get wheels and tires!" This speaks to a strong base of satisfied, recurring clients who trust the business for their specific needs.

Conversely, critical features also emerge from the negative review. Concerns about **customer service** are significant, described as "Horrible customer service from the owner himself." This directly contradicts the positive experiences and suggests inconsistency in client interaction. Issues with **professionalism and organization** are also raised, with the business being called "a disaster" and "Very unprofessional business" and indicating that staff "have no idea what they’re doing." Furthermore, a very serious alleged feature is the mention of potential **unethical business practices**, specifically the claim about being "emphasized to me, they won’t charge you TAXES" if paying in cash. This accusation, if true, represents a significant breach of professional conduct and legality, and is a major red flag for potential customers seeking a transparent and legitimate business.

Regarding promotional information, High Point's primary and most effective promotion appears to be **word-of-mouth reputation**, specifically for "Joe" and their pricing on wheels and tires. The fact that the business "has a MAJOR reputation without advertising" suggests that positive experiences from long-term customers are their most powerful marketing tool. The enduring loyalty of customers over 15+ years is a testament to this organic growth. However, the negative review also acts as a form of promotional information, albeit a deterrent. It serves as a warning for potential customers, prompting them to consider the contrasting experiences and perhaps to approach the business with caution or to verify claims before committing to a purchase or service. No explicit discounts, seasonal sales, or formal marketing campaigns are mentioned, indicating a reliance on their established reputation and competitive pricing to draw in customers. Prospective clients are encouraged to use the provided phone numbers, (937) 233-9211 or +1 937-233-9211, to inquire about specific inventory, pricing, and to gauge the current level of service firsthand.

High Point Customer Reviews

Joe is more than incredible. The best prices around locally and he has a MAJOR reputation without advertising so that shows me all I would ever need to know about High Point! If you ask around for the best place people for wheels, people will HANDS DOWN say Joe at High Point! I've been a customer for 15+ years and HP is the only place I will get wheels and tires! Thanks for all you do Joe!

AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COST!!!! They have no idea what they’re doing. Place is a disaster. Horrible customer service from the owner himself. Then on top of that if you “BRING CASH” like they emphasized to me, they won’t charge you TAXES. How convenient. As a business owner I can’t believe these people are surviving after what I just witnessed. If you don’t believe me go check it out for yourself. Very unprofessional business. Do not recommend!

Took my 2019 Silverado into Highpoint at the Recommendation of a friend. Got new tires, rims, & leveling kit done. Truck looked absolutely incredible. The owner was super busy but still made time to answer my questions & got me in same day. I know I got a great deal & I love the look of my truck. It’s a small mom & pop kinda shop & customer service was incredible even on a busy Saturday. I would definitely recommend & next time I need tire or wheels I’m definitely bringing back my business.

Joe and his staff run a business how it should be run. His prices are more then fair and they do quality work . I drove almost and hour and I will be back. I bought wheels and tires for my Silverado for just a little bit more then everyone else wanted for the wheels alone. Any negative reviews are most likely from haters who can’t match his prices.

AVOID THIS SHOP!!! Unprofessional customer service, the owner barely communicated with me. I was waiting for 30 minutes for my car to get a new tire and the owner took my car key and didn't communicate with me how long it would be. After I got my car back, by the time I left the shop and was heading home to dayton, I noticed my car making this weird noise and it was my front bumper, under it the plastic part was hanging. It wasn't like that before and when I called to let him know, the first thing he says is "Then fix your bumper"... My advice is go to someone you know and trust because people like this do not care about your vehicle.
