Goodyear Commercial Tire & Service Centers Introduce
Goodyear Commercial Tire & Service Centers, located at 113 Alligood Way I-40, Exit 238, Lebanon, TN 37090, USA, serves as a crucial hub for commercial vehicle operators and potentially other motorists in the Lebanon area. As a dedicated facility within the "Auto Repair Stations" category, this center primarily focuses on the specialized needs of commercial trucks and large vehicles, offering a comprehensive suite of tire and mechanical services.
The environment at Goodyear Commercial Tire & Service Centers, especially given its location near a major interstate (I-40, Exit 238), is inherently geared towards efficiency and functionality for commercial vehicle traffic. The facility is designed to handle large trucks and trailers, implying spacious service bays and specialized equipment necessary for heavy-duty vehicle maintenance and repair. As a commercial service center, the primary focus is on getting vehicles, particularly those vital for logistics and transportation, back on the road as quickly as possible. This often means a practical, industrial setting optimized for speed and large-scale operations rather than a cozy customer lounge found in typical passenger car repair shops. While specific details about the waiting area or customer amenities are not explicitly mentioned, the nature of a commercial service center suggests a focus on the mechanics of the operation. Reviews, however, suggest a variability in the customer experience, with some highlighting helpful and friendly staff, while others express dissatisfaction with wait times and perceived indifference from newer staff, indicating that the atmosphere can be inconsistent and largely depends on the current operational management and staff.
Goodyear Commercial Tire & Service Centers provides a specialized range of services tailored for commercial vehicles, complementing its role as an "Auto Repair Station." These services are crucial for maintaining the uptime and safety of commercial fleets and individual truck owners. Key services include:
- Commercial Tire Sales and Service: This is a core offering, including a wide selection of new, used, and retread tires specifically designed for heavy-duty trucks, trailers, and other commercial applications. Services extend to tire mounting, balancing (including spin balancing for commercial tires), and rotations.
- Flat Tire Repair: A critical service for commercial drivers, often experiencing flat tires on the road. The facility is equipped to handle the robust tires found on 18-wheelers and other commercial vehicles, as evidenced by a positive customer review for flat tire repair on an 18-wheeler.
- 24/7 Roadside Emergency Service: Goodyear Commercial Tire & Service Centers is part of a national network offering round-the-clock emergency assistance, which is invaluable for commercial drivers facing breakdowns or tire issues away from the service center. This includes jump-starts, tire changes, and minor roadside repairs.
- Brake Service & Repair: Essential for heavy-duty vehicles, this includes inspection, maintenance, and replacement of brake components for commercial trucks and trailers.
- Oil Changes and Fluid Services: Regular maintenance such as oil changes, differential fluid changes, and transmission fluid changes are provided to ensure the longevity and performance of commercial vehicle powertrains.
- Preventative Maintenance (PM) Services: Crucial for fleet management, these services help to identify and address potential issues before they lead to costly breakdowns, contributing to overall operational efficiency.
- Shocks & Struts Service: Maintenance and replacement of suspension components are offered to ensure vehicle stability, ride comfort, and tire longevity for commercial vehicles.
- Electrical System Services: This includes services like starter, alternator, and battery replacement, which are vital for the reliable operation of commercial trucks.
- Truck & Trailer Repair Services: Beyond tires, the center is equipped to perform general repair services for commercial trucks and trailers, addressing a variety of mechanical issues.
- Wheel Replacement: For damaged or worn wheels on trucks and trailers.
As part of the broader Goodyear network, this Commercial Tire & Service Center has several inherent features, but also faces specific challenges based on customer feedback:
- Commercial Vehicle Specialization: Unlike general auto repair shops, this center is specifically geared towards the larger, more complex needs of commercial trucks, including 18-wheelers. This specialization means they have the appropriate equipment, parts, and trained technicians for heavy-duty applications.
- Goodyear Brand Assurance: Being a Goodyear-owned and operated center, customers can expect access to Goodyear's extensive line of commercial tires and leverage the brand's reputation for quality and innovation in tire technology.
- 24/7 Roadside Assistance Network: This is a significant differentiator for commercial drivers, providing peace of mind and rapid response in case of roadside emergencies anywhere within the vast Goodyear network.
- Strategic Location: Its placement directly off I-40 (Exit 238) makes it highly accessible for commercial vehicles traveling through Lebanon, minimizing detours and downtime.
- Mixed Customer Experience: Customer reviews indicate a polarization in service quality. While some praise the "very helpful and friendly staff" and "great job fixing my flat," others lament "terrible" experiences, citing rude staff, lack of care for time, and excessive wait times ("over 3 hrs for a jump"). This suggests variability in the quality of service, possibly influenced by staffing changes or management.
- Focus on Efficiency for Commercial Clients: The nature of commercial vehicle service inherently prioritizes getting trucks back on the road quickly to minimize financial losses for businesses, which is a key feature, though sometimes seemingly not consistently met as per some reviews.
Goodyear Commercial Tire & Service Centers typically leverages its brand presence and a consistent set of offerings as its primary promotional tools. While specific, localized, and short-term promotions might not be explicitly detailed in general online listings, the overarching promotional strategies include:
- Brand Recognition: The Goodyear name itself is a powerful promotional tool, signifying a long history of tire manufacturing and service expertise.
- Network Benefits: The promotion of their extensive national network and 24/7 emergency roadside service is a strong selling point for commercial operators who require reliable support across different locations.
- Online Presence and Offers: Goodyear's official websites (e.g., , goodyearautoservice.com) often feature national promotions, rebates, and financing options for tires and services, which would be applicable at this location. These can include rebates on sets of new tires, or special pricing on specific services.
- Targeted Commercial Offers: Commercial centers may have specific programs or discounts for fleet accounts, loyalty programs, or volume purchases of tires and services for businesses.
- Service Guarantees: While not explicitly stated, as a major brand, Goodyear centers likely adhere to certain service quality standards and guarantees, which act as a form of assurance and promotion.
For current offers and specific service inquiries, it is recommended for local users to contact the Lebanon, TN, Goodyear Commercial Tire & Service Center directly via phone at (615) 449-0004 or mobile at +1 615-449-0004. Due to the varied customer experiences noted, it is advisable for new customers, especially those with time-sensitive needs, to communicate their expectations clearly and confirm service availability and estimated timelines upon arrival.

NEVER AGAIN! Been coming here for years and the last 3 experiences have been terrible. The new guys running it are rude and don't seem to care about anything especially time. Waited over 3 hrs for a jump in the parking lot.. Too much to list but this is the last straw! You've been warned, take your business elsewhere if you value your time

When I got to the shop there was one in front of me I was instructed to follow directions on which bay to go in then a red semi got in front of me then a white pickup with trailer I went inside and complain he said the shop is not affiliated with pilot , then lunch break at the end just said it was going to be $2000 for the air valve today is Monday part won’t be at shop till next two days, I am given them 3 stars but it should be only 2 of them, bad service and way of doing business .

Joey, Aaron and Austin all were very professional and respectful. Every time I have been here, the staff has taken care of any issues I had. Today, Austin changed out my steer tires and did a full alignment. He was presented with some challenges, but worked hard to make sure he found the problems, corrected them and got me out the door and back on the road. I will bring my business here in the future. Thanks guys and great job!
