I had such an amazing experience at Getter's Automotive. The owner, Ron, assisted me begging to end. The transmission on my car stopped working and as a single mom of 3, I was worried beyond belief as I definitely need a working and reliable car! Ron came to springfield to tow my car, found an affordable and reliable used transmission for me and Installed the transmission. He checked my tires and filled them up for me. Put whatever the magic fluid it is that makes my AC work in for me. Gave my car an oil change and a new working keyfob. Getter's Automotive was kind, caring, fast, thorough, and AFFORDABLE. The communication was great and they made me feel like they weren't trying to find 1000 non urgent things to fix and charge me for like I've felt from other places in the past. My safety and the safety of my children felt like a top priority with them and I recommend them highly to anyone in need of help with their automobiles.

terrible communication. my fiancé is building an engine and had taken his engine here to get 4 things fixed. now i’m not a car person so i don’t know specifically what he had asked to be done, but the owner told him his engine would be done in july. it is now october and the engine work is still not done. my fiancé had tried calling and nobody would answer. nobody had reached out to him either regarding his engine and why it was still not done months later. today he went in there to speak to the owner and it turns out only 1 out of the 4 things he had needed done to his engine were complete. the owner said he didn’t remember my fiancé ever saying the other 3 things ever needed complete even though he had wrote everything down and gave him a quote for the 4 things getting fixed on his engine!! would not recommend this place to anyone.

Not a very good mechanic. Still owes me a sensor I gave him to put on my van looked myself while under my van and he didn’t put it on called him several times regarding it no answer. Lost a hubcap on our van cost us $40 to replace left top cover off our engine went back to get it someone tossed it out back! No one answers the phone when you call! We’ve paid this man a fortune through the years but no more!! He NEVER fixed the van ! Took it somewhere else they fixed it for less than $500 !

First time customer. They machined an exhaust manifold for me it took them a day longer to do it than they first told me and when I got it back there were a few spots that were in question of whether they should have taken a little more off. The guy said not to worry about it. So far so good manifold gasket is not leaking.

I have been taking my car to Ron for the better part of 2-3 years now, if not a little longer. Most of my issues have been suspension related, as well as a water pump. Between my accord & my civic, he has yet to fail me. An old coworker had referred me to him. I'm very glad I listened! He's always able to get me quick as hell, the job is practically always done in a very timely manner, and I've yet to leave pissed off over any of the work he has done. I will continue to trust my vehicles to Getters for years to come for jobs that I cannot do myself! :)
