Genesis of Greer Service Center

The company was nice and clean. Everyone that I came into contact with was nice and courtesy except for when it was time for my bill to be paid. I noticed that a man was called into the office and his bill was discussed in privacy. But mine was discussed out in the open area among other customers. I didn’t like that at all.

I am so happy with my service appointment. Everything went well. In addition to the service, the Connectivity function was restored. I also requested a complimentary car wash of the exterior only and my car looked great when I left.

Not much positive to report here. I made an appointment on Wednesday to drive down to purchase a new car on Saturday. I live 2 hours from Greer. I drove down and arrived at 9:30am at the dealership. Nothing was done in advance to prepare the car for purchase. It still needed to be serviced as there was a check engine light and no one took the time to try and figure out this issue before I drove down. I was told it would be done at noon. At this point I had already gone through financing and turned in my old car. Still waiting at 1pm, I was now told that it would be end of day before it could be looked at., When I asked why it was taking so long, the reply was that there were lots of cars being serviced that day and I was at the end of the line as I didn't have an appointment. I am still in disbelief because there were several days ahead of my arrival to get car ready for purchase. And NOTHING was done. So around 1:30pm I was given a loaner car to go home so I didn't have to spend the entire day waiting. Keep in mind I live 2 hours away. So Saturday I spent over half my day waiting for my new car that I still don't have in my possession and drove 4 hours. To top it off, I have to drive the loaner car back down on Monday to return and pick up my car. So another 4 hours out of another day. No one offered to drive it to me for my inconvenience. No one has offered to do anything for me to help make the situation easier for me. So I am beyond upset and disappointed in the service I have received so far. I would not recommend.

I went for service for a front end alignment. The service advisor and tech were very knowledgeable. I was treated with great respect and they listened to my concerns. My vehicle was serviced efficiently and it didn’t take that much time. I have been a customer with the Hyundai and Genesis brand for more than 13 years. I appreciate the care they give their customers. I went for oil change service. After reviewing the service record the manager came and told me I was not due for that service until another 2000 to 2500 miles. I appreciate him informing me of that and letting me know.

I was greeted nicely on arrival. The service associate made me aware of what would be done during the service. The wait for t he work to be done was reasonable and my checkout was handled well. It was all good.

After years of dealing with Dick Smith Genesis, Genesis of Greer is a breath of fresh air. New modern Service facility appointed with comfortable chairs, sofas, tables with charger capabilities for phone, computer, etc. There were also free beverages and snacks. The service rep and the concierge where friendly and helpful and my vehicle was serviced in less than 2 hours. Also, they have added a nice touch with the video/monologue from the service technician talking (and showing) what is good, what could be a future problem and issues that might warrant my immediate attention. A very good start for my first visit.

WOW-this is the first time I have been to a legit Genesis service center as the dealership where I purchased the car never provided anything separate from the regular service and repairs. The lounge was beautiful-like a Zen garden with comfy leather seats and a peaceful atmosphere. The service manager met me promptly when I arrived and went over the issue I was having. The wait was a bit longer than I expected to get my car back but the lounge kept me happy and comfortable.

Driver Shannon picked vehicle on time and returned in afternoon as promised. Very efficient and pleasant. Credit to your company. Good job cleaning up before return. Only suggestion is clean mats and pedals with something that doesn't make them slippery. Very happy. Thanks Stan Massie

Very pleasant lounge area. Service is professional. Service manager is friendly and knowledgeable. However, it’s obvious they are trying to match the customer experience at Merceds and BMW, and they should be. But until they provide complimentary car washes by hand they’ve still got a ways to go.
