Friendly Ford Body Shop Introduce

Friendly Ford Body Shop, situated at 1650 N Decatur Blvd in Las Vegas, NV 89108, operates within the category of Auto Repair Stations, providing a range of services related to the repair and maintenance of vehicles, particularly focusing on bodywork. While functioning under the umbrella of a Ford dealership, the body shop caters to a broader clientele seeking solutions for collision repairs, cosmetic enhancements, and other auto body needs.

Based on the available customer reviews, the environment and customer service experience at Friendly Ford Body Shop appear to be areas of concern for some users. One customer recounted a prolonged repair process for a bumper replacement through an insurance claim, spanning over a month (34 days). During this period, the customer reported issues with communication, often having to initiate contact themselves and receiving unreliable timelines for the vehicle's completion. The lack of a rental car provision during this extended repair time resulted in additional personal expenses for the customer. This experience suggests that while the quality of the actual repair work might be satisfactory in some cases, the communication and overall customer management could be improved.

Another customer shared a more extensive history with Friendly Ford Body Shop, having brought in three vehicles over two years. Their most recent experience, dating back to September 2018, was described as one of the worst they had encountered. This customer expressed feeling treated as a "dollar sign" rather than a valued individual. They reported a lack of progress on their vehicle during visits and perceived condescending communication from the staff. Furthermore, this review highlighted a concern about overestimation of job costs compared to other repair shops. While acknowledging that the work done was generally good, the customer felt the negative treatment and inflated prices outweighed the quality of the repair. This paints a picture where technical competence might be present, but the customer interaction and cost-effectiveness are potential drawbacks.

The second review also detailed an experience with a 2017 Focus RS that had been vandalized with paint. The customer expressed disbelief at the $20,000 repair estimate provided by Friendly Ford Body Shop, suggesting it was significantly higher than the actual damage warranted and implying a potential attempt to inflate the cost for the insurance company. The customer's request to simply have the car reassembled was reportedly denied due to payment concerns. This ultimately led to the vehicle being totaled. The reviewer mentioned a $2,500 charge to the insurance company for what they described as minimal work (tearing down and testing the spoiler), further fueling their suspicion of overcharging. The customer explicitly advises others to research more reasonable shops to avoid potentially having their vehicles totaled due to high repair estimates.

Considering these customer experiences, the features of Friendly Ford Body Shop are somewhat contradictory. On one hand, there's an indication that the quality of the actual bodywork can be good. However, this positive aspect is overshadowed by significant concerns regarding communication, timelines, customer service, and pricing. The prolonged repair time experienced by one customer, coupled with the perceived lack of proactive communication, suggests potential inefficiencies in their processes or understaffing. The feeling of being treated as a "dollar sign" and the reports of condescending behavior indicate a need for improvement in customer relations and staff training.

The recurring theme of potentially inflated repair costs is a significant drawback. The comparison to other shops charging less and the suspicion of overcharging the insurance company raise questions about the value proposition offered by Friendly Ford Body Shop. While quality work is important, customers also expect fair and transparent pricing. The experience with the vandalized Focus RS, where the repair estimate seemingly led to the vehicle being totaled, serves as a stark warning to cost-conscious customers.

Currently, no specific promotional information is available in the provided text. Given the negative feedback regarding customer service and pricing, any potential promotions would need to be carefully evaluated in the context of the overall customer experience. It's essential for potential customers to weigh the reported quality of work against the potential for communication issues, extended repair times, and higher costs.

In conclusion, Friendly Ford Body Shop in Las Vegas offers auto body repair services, including bumper replacements and repairs to other body panels like fenders, doors, and mirrors. While at least one customer acknowledged the good quality of the work performed, significant concerns have been raised regarding communication, repair timelines, customer service, and pricing. Potential customers should be aware of these reported issues and may want to seek additional reviews or consider obtaining quotes from other auto body shops in the area to ensure a satisfactory and cost-effective experience. The lack of proactive communication, extended delays, and perceived overcharging are critical factors to consider when deciding whether to utilize the services of Friendly Ford Body Shop.

Friendly Ford Body Shop Customer Reviews

Brought my truck in for a new bumper through an insurance claim. Tony Black took a look at my vehicle and was the one working on it. After a week, the communication to me was that it'd be ready the next day or the day after that for the NEXT THREE WEEKS. Not only was it always going to be ready the next day and nearly never was, but I was the one constantly trying to contact the front desk if not Tony's direct line. Even when I got a seldom call back, it was always a "guarantee" that couldn’t be upheld. I hope the work holds up and is sturdy for time to come but not providing a rental for work that you then took 34 days to finish ended up costing me an extra $1100 alone and that's on top of the full deductible that they refused to discount despite the untimely service.

I brought in three vehicles over the last 2 years to this establishment. This last time is one of the worst experiences I've ever had. Which was in September 2018. You will be literally treated as just a dollar sign and not as a person. Every time you go in to see what's going on with the vehicle. Mostly no progress has been made, not to mention they always talk down to you. Friendly Ford way overestimates any job they do. Charging way more than any other shop would. I give them credit they do do good work, but it's not worth being treated like you're nothing and your cars don't mean nothing. My 2017 Focus RS it's getting totaled out because it got vandalized someone poured paint on it. I understand they have to replace a lot of parts but it's not $20,000 worth. I even kindly ask if they would put my car together and they said no not if "I'm not your not paying for it" just like that I realize that this shops only out there for the money. At the end of the day my car was in there for a month all they did was tearing it down. Get my spoiler and put it in some water to see if the paint will come off. For that they're charging $2,500 to my insurance company. I can see now that's why my car is being totaled out. Friendly Ford it's just too expensive if you're trying to keep your car. I recommend if you're trying to keep your car and not having it totaled out please do your research and find a more reasonable shop. Friendly Ford does do good work, but if you love your car and don't want to get totaled out it's not worth taking here. On the bottom I'll be putting before and after pictures from when I brought the car to how it looks now. There's honestly no way this is $20,000 worth of damage. I'm convinced they're just trying to rip off my insurance company. Honestly they made my car look worse.

My car is an older Lincoln for which parts are difficult to obtain. Tony Black was excellent at ensuring I received the best service and my car looks fantastic!

My truck was rear ended by another RAM truck (go figure?). They cut and twister wires together and then proceeded to tape them up. Didn’t want to replace my hitch or spare until I insisted. Had to request them not to paint and clear coat in one. They installed used parts wherever they could. My Prestiege off road edition RAM 2500 Laramie Cummins 4x4 was in perfect condition up until I got hit. They won’t make it like new, they won’t order a new harness or even spend a few dollars on plastic tabs to hold your wiring harness in place! Cheep shoddy work at best! Now (a year later?) my back up camera is shorted out, keep getting false warnings on tail lights and lic plate lights. I’ll post a pick. Your better off going in to north town and paying the homeless to fix your car! Thx for reading
