First Aid Collision Arden

I brought my car to First aid collision, back in early December. It was in a wreck in October 2024. I waited 4 weeks to get into their shop. Once my car was in the shop they proceeded to take over a month to fix my car. When I would call they would not give me a deadline on when it would be done and just said “uhhh i don’t know how long it will take” , they will would not give me any information on how much longer they had. This was extremely unprofessional. When i first brought the car in i suggested my other headlight be fixed since it was foggy, Crystal said it would be around 200 dollars, and i verbally agreed. So come time to pick up my car they stated it would be 938 dollars for the headlight. They were extremely dishonest about the price and tried to make me pay an extra 700 dollars, once i told them no She was extremely rude to me over the phone. The only person who i felt was helpful was Jacob and he was extremely nice to me when i picked up my car. However, I would not recommend this shop to any customer, they did not give me any estimate on how much the “extra” work was gonna be, i felt very deceived the whole time.

I returned to First Aid Collision in Arden because of the excellent service I received with a fender bender several years ago. The level of professionalism, knowledge and genuine kindness I just received is a tribute to a well managed organization! I never thought a car repair experience could be so gratifying.

This shop is absolute garbage. Had my car for 20 days and couldn’t even put it together properly. Failed to reinstall bolts securing the front bumper cover to the front fenders, failed to install the fender liners properly (hanging down from the fenders), left sanding marks in the base coat so it looks like it was painted with a paint brush, failed to have the alignment done after being hit at the right front fender and wheel, and has yet to call me with a replacement right headlight after installing one that leaks (first attempt was to plastic weld the headlight brackets and it was completely crooked). Not to mention they washed the vehicle with a brush and caused damage to my left side mirror paint. If you value your car at all, take it elsewhere. I thought going to a local shop would be my best bet. Boy was I wrong. Nothing but cutting corners and excuses from them. They do not stand behind their work and does not honor their warranties. Oh, and after 14 months I found another issue: a clearcoat crack in my front bumper cover letting water bubble underneath. A bumper cover First Aid Auto refinished (and Seth tried to claim was replaced and that's why it was drooping. It was not replaced, factory VIN label is still attached to the underside). Update: I first brought up the issues to Crystal the day I first tried to pick it up. I say tried because of the crooked headlight and the fact that it was absolutely unacceptable. When I got the call back none of the issues were fixed aside from the headlight. I spoke directly to Seth. Gave him a complete list of issues. I even talked to him the day after the repair showing him the condensation in my headlight. He asked me to text him the picture of the condensation, so he has my contact info. Never got any contact back. Went back months later asking when I could get the work finished on my car since he gave excuses as to why they couldn't fix them when I first brought the issues up. He acted as if I was an inconvenience and that I should be grateful for the job they did do. I would have been grateful had the job been done right the first time.

I usually dislike dealing with automotive repair shops, but these guys are great. Everyone I dealt with was courteous and professional. Mr. Buckner was very friendly and he wound up saving me about four hundred dollars. Would highly recommend!

First Aid Collision in Arden did a great job from start to finish. They have stellar customer service, are professional and communicative about what they did. I felt cared for and important as a customer. Thanks! I will be referring you to friends in the future.

Three Words: Inefficient, disorganized and overpriced!! Brought my car in for an estimate which took almost an hour. They made me wait instead of emailing the estimate after taking pictures. When I brought my car in for the 12 thousand dollar repair, they asked for a 50 percent down payment with a cashiers check. This was news to me, so when I asked if I could go get the check and return the same day, they told me I had to reschedule my appointment even though repairs weren’t scheduled to start until the following day! I ended up taking my vehicle to ABRA. The estimate was emailed to me after 15 minutes of photography and was quoted $ 3800 for the entire repair!!!! I brought vehicles to this place many years ago when they were under different ownership and it was a top notch establishment, unfortunately now it’s simply awful. Update 3/27: Crystal , thank you for calling me earlier this week. The 12k estimate came from page 3 of the hard copy. I am happy to post for your internal records the actual amount was 12,082.95. Perhaps, you did not look at all three pages of the estimate. In addition, your person in charge of performing the estimate said it was created on 12/23/24 which is also incorrect as I was provided the estimate on 2/11/25 as indicated by the print date at the bottom of the page.

I highly recommend this shop! My car looks exactly like it did before I was involved in an accident. They are very responsive, provide frequent updates, and were super friendly and helpful! First Aid Collision provided all the necessary information to my insurance company in a very timely and efficient manner. I will definitely go back if I experience any future car troubles!

Had an incident in the lowes parking lot while from out of town not knowing where to go the tow truck driver took it to the closet body shop. There i was met by crystal (and the owner Joe) who was nothing short of a god send. Always had a smile on her face and pleasing in conversation. Everything was taken care of in a timely manner before I could even call to check she was already in contact with me. Had the other ppls insurance already set my up with a rental truck so I could get back home. Fast forward to pick up. Truck looked great (I searched for imperfections) was washed and detailed looking like brand new. I wish I was met with this kind of quality work and awesome service everywhere. Definitely wish First aid and Crystal where local to my area!!!

As a fellow collision industry technician, I've personally seen their commitment to striving to better the collision industry. Ive seen reviews complaining of cost and time, and having gotten cheaper estimates somewhere else. I can assure you that if the estimate is considerably cheaper its because OEM procedures have not been reviewed and they will be using cheaper non-oem parts, amongst other things. I cant speak on work done, but I can speak on the actions of ownership/management genuinely taking the steps to continuing education to provide more thorough safe repairs to their customers. Keep going! We hope to continue to be your competition for years to come!

Outstanding customer service and workmanship. They took care of all insurance claims and consistently updated us with the status of the repair. Plus they finished it quicker than the estimated time. Great job… highly recommend them.
