I came here Sunday AM hoping to get a flat fire fixed but the due to the sheet metal slicing my tire, it couldn't be patched. Jamil was honest, kind, professional, & very helpful. He provided options at different Firestone locations, also other tire shops, & laid out multiple price points. I'm happy with his openness & customer service. Thanks Jamil!

The front desk staff was courteous; however, I was unable to receive a clear response regarding the specific issues with my car's suspension or the parts that required replacement. I requested the names or part numbers for the necessary components, but was informed that they do not work on my suspension system. Despite this, I was still required to pay for the inspection, which ultimately provided no answers or resolutions to my concerns.

After a dystopic experience at the Mira Mar Firestone misrecommended by Google Maps which failed to mention military clearance to access. I phoned this shop which was also closer to my home. The Black Mountain Firestone provided impressive service. The shop was well organised and staffed. The agent at the desk was efficient and possessed an expert knowledge of his work and was able to clearly communicate the service performed. A quality that was evident in the many customer interactions I overheard in the short time I spent waiting in their clean and comfortable lobby. Most important, my car drove much better after the appointment and has continued to ever since. Something I appreciate very much. The work they do is critical to safety and difficult to find a trustworthy shop capable of performing an alignment. I know this first hand having lost a front wheel within a week after an alignment done by a fly by night. Over six months and not only are all the wheels in place but also no uneven tire wear. These folks are the real deal and highly recommended by this old motorhead. Their prices are fair. I don't think you'll find a better deal, particularly if you value safety.

Worst service ever had. I would give 0 if allowed. Had lifetime alignment but never had a single alignment service with them, because they always come up with an excuse of not doing it unless bundled with some other paid service. This time the excuse was my engine has sound. How is it related to alignment service? In fact, I don't think the engine has sound. --- Thanks for the response. We have been with you for years because you are close to home. We'd say many times in the past we are not very satisfied with your service as you tend to either upsell us services or replace tires/batteries we think were still good. We've been keeping quiet till today... We'd like to see your ratings going up before giving you a try again.

Absolutely the rudest lady working behind the counter at Firestone PQ, combative, rude and unprofessional. I took my mom's car in to check on a slow charging battery that was still under Firestone warranty. She immediately started accusing us of not properly maintaining the battery??? In addition, she was going to charge us to test the battery. Seriously? I was also going to have them look at one of the tire pressure sensors in one of the tires, as the TPM system had triggered a light on her dash. Her response was "don't worry about it, unless of course you were looking to replace your tires today". I asked her again to just give me a price to replace a tire sensor. Without even looking it up, she says, "those things are $150 for the sensor alone with a labor charge on top of that. I don't recommend it". Totally unprofessional, and probably a safety issue to be recommending to a customer to ignore the problem altogether. We decided to leave without any work being done. I took the car to Discount Tire, down the road for a second opinion. They ended up replacing the sensor for $83 including parts labor and taxes! I ended up swapping out the battery myself (even though it was still under Firestone warranty for another 3 months). Thank you AutoZone for the great price and great service. Bottom line, I'm glad I didn't let these jokers touch my mom's car! Discount Tire is just down the road with cheaper prices and a professionally trained staff. I'd start with them, before EVER returning to these guys.

Jamil & Amy do a fantastic job, and working with the two of them offers additional benefits such as peace of mind since they’re both very experienced and know what they’re talking about. Always nice to have a car repair shop you can count on, but more importantly - trust. Cheers to the both of you!

This place is great. Amy is super knowledgeable and is very creative and pragmatic. She finds solutions that are cost effective and safe. This seems like one of the last places that actually answers the phone, actually calls back when they say they will, and generally cares even after they’ve got your business. If they are busy, it’s worth the wait— they are busy because they are reasonable and reliable, and they’ve never let being busy get in the way of doing the work right.

I had to bring my car in after having her die on me on the freeway weeks after taking it to another shop. I don't think words can praise Amy, the GM of the store, highly enough. She took the time and patience to properly look over my car. After figuring out the issue, she went over the invoice from the other shop I took my car to. She did this because the issue she found was just below the work the other shop did. Which was oil and power steering leaks. She pointed out that the other shop blatantly ignored the coolant leak, leading to my 2 year old alternator being fried. She also notified me that the other shop did not clean up my engine after supposedly fixing the leaks. There were more issues that she now has to fix due to the neglect of the other shop. She was patient enough to explain all of this to me and even helped me speak to the other shop owner in an attempt to get them to right their wrongs. Though we were unsuccessful in this attempt, she has been amazing enough to work with me to address the issues with my car. I will be recommending Amy to others and will work with her for as long as she's around! Thank you for cleaning up the mess the other shop has left me with!

I’ve been coming to this location since 2022 and am very happy with the service I receive here. Amy always does a great job of explaining what services are needed, and I never feel I’m being upsold. Service is also quick - I am always in and out in just a few minutes.
