Firestone Complete Auto Care

I went to get a pair of tires replaced. One was bald. I was told that the back tire had a bulge, so they wanted to sell me 4 tires. I told them to put the better of the old tires there. I even need to tell a mechanic to do this? So they put the bald tire there. The man working behind the counter lied straight to my face and told me the other tire had metal showing. I called his bluff and made him show me, and there was no damage, so I had him swap again. He would have sent my wife away with a dangerous tire that I came specifically to get replaced, just to make a few bucks for his corporation. * Edited from 1 star after management reached out and attempted to make it right with a small discount.

I would stay away from this place it seems like they try and take advantage of people that don’t know what things cost. My son drops our car off for a wheel bearing replacement and alignment and the guy tells him around $250 then they call and the price total they give him to start working on it is just shy of $700, regardless to say we didn’t get the work done. The price sheet alone said $200 for the part, I called the parts store $71 and the mechanic shop should get it cheaper if they have an account somewhere. Just a total ripoff

As a local businessman I am appalled at this. , one of my customers today went to this place and they messed up her appointment time and she’s been sitting there since before 9 AM waiting to have her oil changed because this is the only day she can do it. Right now as I write this, it’s 12:30 PM This lady is in her mid 70s She drives a black Jeep. And she is there right now as I write this And she claims they even went to lunch while she’s waiting there. This place is totally unprofessional. I’ve came here in the past. All they care about is the end of the day dollar signs. They always messed up your appointment times especially that lady at the front desk or that young guy with the beard they’re clueless

Brian, larry, all the guys take really good care of my car. I am fortunate to have such an excellent Firestone crew working on my car. I used to frequent the Firestone that was downtown, leave my car while I went to work and it was all done after. That location went away so I started frequenting the one on Ames Road and I am very fortunate that I have a great crew always looking after me. I have been going there since at least 2008 it's been a while but definitely at least 2008 and they are wonderful when something goes away they always take care of it no questions asked. And I am the kind of person that allow them to make it right which more people should be like me. Give someone the opportunity to make it right if something goes wrong. They do their best 95% of the time

Awful company! Came in for a tire rotation BECAUSE I BOUGHT THEM HERE and to have them listen to the sound "humming/vibration" my car was making when I drove. They told me it was a wheel bearing charged me over 500 dollars but when I drove the car home it was making the same damn sound. They also tried to sell me new tires but I know they weren't ready because I hadn't bought them more than two years ago and drive 21 miles a week at most. Instead of being honest about the tires wearing badly and telling me they were safe to drive but will make that sound until I replace them, they ripped me off! Not too long after I took it to another mechanic and they said it was the tires themselves wearing poorly and were going to make that sound until they were replaced. Also continuously heard the same up sells to all the people calling in on their vehicles and it just reeked of scammers trying everyone until they get someone to pay the extra cash to have brakes lubed and adjusted. They tried to sell the same bs to me and my reputable mechanic said they're just fine and are good for 10 to 20 k more miles. Disgusting practices. Don't buy your tires here. Don't get work done here. You probably don't need it!!!

Do Not Go Here! I asked for a specific tire put it in reserve for 3 days I get there. They were out of the tires I reserved but they had another pair for a 100 dollars more. I changed my sway bar links 7 days prior inspected my suspension that a replaced 1 year prior everything looked good they said you have loose suspension parts for 21 dollars we can inspect it I played along said okay. You need new tie rods would you like to schedule an appointment to replace them i declined. I change my brakes today there's a slice not a rip a slice in the boot of my tie rod I personally will never go back here again and I am telling everyone my experience with firestone!!!

My experience at Firestone Complete Auto Care was excellent. They were utterly professional, efficient, and fair with my situation. I will, in the future, buy another tire for my spare because I cannot trust using a doughnut that's only good for 50 miles. This is unacceptable for me, as soon as I get the money, I will buy a spare tire..

I made an appointment two days ago to bring in my Ford transit 350 high roof vehicle for an inspection. I brought it in first thing today and they said "oh yeah we can't service that, it's too big". Why wouldn't you contact me to see if it was a high roof? Lazy customer service.
