Disappointing Service and Poor Communication I’ve been a loyal Firestone customer for over 14 months, consistently bringing my car in for services and spending significant money with them. However, my recent experience was frustrating and disappointing. I originally booked an appointment last Friday for a check engine light diagnostic. On the day of the appointment, I was informed that the diagnostic technician was sick, so the appointment was rescheduled for the following Tuesday. At no point was I told a specific time for the rescheduled appointment. Today, I arrived at 8:40 AM to drop off my car. The employee, Jordan, immediately told me I was “late” and that my appointment was at 7 AM—a time that was never communicated to me. Instead of trying to help or accommodate me, he quickly dismissed me, saying I’d have to wait three more days for another appointment. What made the experience worse was Jordan’s clear lack of interest in resolving the issue. He seemed more focused on avoiding me than assisting me. While I was explaining my situation, he kept taking phone calls and leaving me waiting unnecessarily, showing no courtesy or respect. This lack of professionalism and customer care is unacceptable, especially considering my loyalty to Firestone. I expect better communication, professionalism, and respect for loyal customers. This experience has made me seriously reconsider continuing my business with Firestone.

Excellent customer service from Jordan. The only part I’m displeased with is how long it took to get four new tires. I had an appointment at 8:30 AM and they did not touch my car for over an hour and I ended up leaving the place around 12:15 PM. They also left my tires and rims completely greasy with material all over the rims and tires.

I had my about $600 Blizzak winter tires installed. My car's front wheels vibrated continuously at 65 mph and if I increased speed the car would vibrate more. I came back to Firestone on Prospect in Cleveland (14 miles one way) to get the wheels balanced for free. No more vibration for a week. I found one of my tires slowly leaking air. I went back to the same Firestone and they found a leaking valve stem which they replaced for free. So, I cannot rely on this Firestone. I really should be given 2 free oil changes for going through these failures.

The team there, especially Carter, went above and beyond. He did not mansplain to me the situation which I appreciated! Unfortunately he was not there when I picked up my car, I wanted to say hello and thank him in person for all he did and his great demeanor. Thanks Carter!

Mar 4,2025 - Made appointment 114pm for 5pm. 1 star - paid $464.77 Appointment approved 128pm. Brought in car to have 2 rear tires put on. Person says 2 tires says in system. 610pm. They say have only one tire. Only one tire in the store. Tell me will get done in the morning. Say will give me a discount if apply for a Firestone card. I don’t want to apply for a card to get a discount. Why approve an appointment if don’t have the tires??? Mar 5 Call 1130am. Says doing wheel alignment. Car not done. Get no call. Show up 220pm. Car in parking lot. Go in. Says didnt do a wheel alignment check. 244pm. Says need wheel alignment done. $120. Got slight discount. For all that trouble saved $50. That’s it. Nearly 24 hours to get 2 tires on a car. Car done - 305pm. $464.77 We go the EXTRA mile. BS!!! The Firestone and Ford tire controversy of the 1990s saw hundreds of people die in automobile crashes caused by the failure of Firestone tires installed on light trucks and SUVs made by Ford Motor Company On February 7, 2000, KHOU-TV in Houston Texas ran a 9-minute story about high-speed Firestone tire failures on Ford Explorers that led to 30 deaths On May 22, 2001, Ford announced a voluntary recall of all Wilderness AT tires of 15, 16, and 17 inches installed on all Ford trucks and SUVs. This covered an additional 13 million Firestone tires and cost Ford $3 billion It’s been 20+ years. Firestone still is 1 star. Go somewhere or ANYwhere else than THIS place!!!!!!

Chris, Dave and the entire team truly saved me. I drove to town from four hours away to work. I noticed my car was shaking and ended up just finding the closest place I could make it to. They took my car immediately, told me all four tires were about to come off due to a poor new tire experience from a place back in my homework. They tightened it all up, ever tired, and didn’t charge me for it. Just told me to get home safely. I barely took 30 minutes and I was in and out and did get back safely. Truly appreciate their care, concern, careful approach and just making safety the priority. I am someone who isn’t even in their city so likely can’t return for routine service but if I lived in town I wouldn’t go anywhere else again. I will find one by me but can’t recommend this location enough. The team members themselves all personally cared. That’s worth every penny and then some in my opinion.

I’ve been coming to this location for the past 4 years and I am always so impressed with the customer service here! Every single employee here is extremely kind and knowledgeable. This is the first and only mechanical shop that I feel like I’m getting a fair price and I’m not pressured into purchasing additional services. Cannot thank you all enough for your patience, kindness, and providing a comfortable environment.

Noticed an extremely large gash in the rear drivers side tire while on vacation this past Tuesday. Stopped into this Firestone store with an hour and a half before close to purchase a new tire before our several hour road trip back home. One patron was in the lobby when we arrived. The sales person came into the lobby from the shop and asked how he could help rather unenthusiastically. I told him we were visiting from out of town and we were in need of purchasing a tire to get back home. He hit a couple of keys on his computer before stating “it won’t be done tonight” without even coming to have a look at the tire or anything. I would think an hour and a half would be plenty of time to install one tire in an emergency situation but apparently not. We were prepared to pay whatever price for a tire that would fit our vehicle but the sales guy couldn’t even be bothered to do anything before letting us know he wasn’t doing it that night. Gone are the days of exceptional customer service apparently but we couldn’t even get basic customer service here. Needless to say neither of our 3 vehicles will EVER purchase another Firestone tire ever again.
