Discount Tire

As usual, my experience was horrible!!! It's obvious this discount tire has too much business. There's always a long wait even with an appointment. I went for a routine tire rotation. My car is a hybrid that shouldn't be put on a lift due to low clearance and weight. Since jacks were used the (untrained) technician put the jack in the wrong place resulting in damage to the panel between the door and wheel well. A claim was filed with Fleet Response which has yet to be addressed. The manager (Jonathan) refused to even speak with me when I filed the claim. He was also present when the car was jacked up. Please check your vehicle for damage after service and stay with it if at all possible!!!! You'll be surprised what you observe. I read in other reviews the claim would be denied. Guess after contacting the Attorney General's office I'll see them in court.

Very disappointed with the service, I've used this place in the past and have had a good experience with them. However my last few visits have not been good at all. Had tires mounted and balanced there and looking through the window to see how they handled my wheels and tires was just unacceptable. After installation was completed and I got home I noticed that they had stacked the stick on weights on top of each other 3 layers high. This is in no way acceptable or right. Especially for the price I had to pay to have the service done.

Awesome experience for tire repair - HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! We drove 8hrs to town for a wedding and woke up to a nail in our tire. Drew (and the crew) took us in and had our tire repaired in less than 90min…for FREE!! AWESOME!!

Went in for a flat tire and while taking off the tire they stripped one of my lug nuts. So they put me one completely different now then the ones I have on my wheels. Looks horrible now need to invest on a new set of lug nuts. They don’t take care of customer cars at all.

Dylan was kind and very knowledgeable. He was the main reason my bad situation overall better. I got something stuck in my tire and it needed to be replaced. They didn’t have the exact tire but found something that would still work and we ended up doing 2 an affordable price. I would’ve been without a car if they had not helped me out. They were also the one tire shop that didn’t steal my tire caps too. Overall if you find yourself in a pinch definitely recommend going here.

If you need free wheel scratches and rounded lug nuts, this is the place for you! They go the extra mile to not mention it so it leaves a nice surprise for the next time you remove your wheels. Thanks DT!

I drove up to Asheville from Orlando yesterday, so I was very apprehensive being in an unfamiliar city experiencing car issues. It was my first full day and my tire pressure light came on. Right before driving up, I had gotten my tire patched, so I thought this was related to a faulty patch job. I did some googling and decided to come to discount tire despite it not being the closest auto service center to where I was staying due to the good reviews and a friend in Orlando's wonderful experience with the business. With it being the middle of the day, I thought for sure I would be waiting a long time. I was in and out in less than an hour. I would like to give a shout out to Dan for taking care of my car and offering such compassionate, fast and efficient service. Everyone I encountered here was so kind. Turns out, I had hit a nail driving around Asheville. Definitely will be returning if I run into any more car trouble during my time here. Thank you Dan and the rest of the Asheville Discount Tire Team!

Friendly and quick customer service. However - Went in for a leak in tire possible patch, they took car back for 30 mins and said they fixed a leaky valve. I left and tire continued to leak. Went to another shop they actually took the tire off and saw within 2 mins the wheel was bent, causing air to leak out. They bent wheel back, tire fixed in 15 mins. No more leaking.

Absolutely the worst customer service. I was always next, just never got in. Car after car, mine never was pulled in. The last car that went it before me was an "employee car". So I guess that definitely justifies have a customer wait. Even though the services were going to be free, though I came not knowing. But free or paid, customer is a customer. Would give a negative if it was an option. After waiting over an hr.
