Friendly than when finishing paperwork with financing even though we were paying cash tried to make us buy more we left no sale nice car too

I would give 0 or negative stars if I could. Our 2016 Mazda 3 started having performance issues while we were out of town. Took it to a local place and they said the computer that controls the transmission was starting to go. We went to the dealer thinking that would be the best place to have the computer looked at. Fast forward and the service department asked us to authorize additional labor costs because they couldn't identify the issue within a standard diagnostic time. We figured we've come this far so we proceeded. They subsequently recommended a full transmission replacement because of metal debris on the magnet in the oil pan. $5k+. Because they had to "pull apart the entire engine" we paid almost $500 for the privilege of being told we needed to spend an additional 10x that amount. We were devastated. We took it to a transmission specialist for a second opinion. They couldn't find a single thing wrong with the transmission and instead traced this issue back to spark plugs and ignition coils that badly needed to be replaced. The car runs great now and it was a significantly cheaper repair. It's not really clear what diagnostic work was done at the dealership outside of dropping the oil pan and drawing a catastrophic conclusion based on little evidence. Be warned: they are just trying to get you to buy a new vehicle here and will diagnose your issue as something absurdly expensive in order to get you to do so. We will never go back. You shouldn't go either.

Pleasant experience having the first scheduled service done on our Mazda CX-5. Staff very friendly and accommodating. Comfortable waiting area; and although a bit on the small side there was room to stay socially distanced from other customers. I appreciated the video clip progress report emailed to me by the technician working on my car. Service took the time quoted - about an hour. Complimentary car wash included.
