I bought my car from D’ella and have needed a couple of things done in the last year or so. I’ve worked with Damien every time and he’s just been wonderful to work with! Everything I needed was under warranty and we got things all squared away a couple of months after I got the car and I haven’t needed anything since. However, this past weekend my thermostat went and GMC makes it difficult to replace requiring a large amount of labor go into it. I called around locally as I live in Latham now and got some hefty quotes. So I emailed Damien. I explained I’m 9 months pregnant and going to the hospital Thursday night for induction and needed something done fast and wanted a quote. The initial quote I got was lower than the other shops close to me and he said he was going to squeeze me in and get the work done immediately understanding I need my car back before the baby is here. Several hours later he called me back to tell me that he had done some research and found out my thermostat was covered under the powertrain warranty and instead of costing $1000 was going to be free of charge if in fact that was the issue. He also said he would take care of a recall he noticed and noticed I needed my inspection done so he did that too. My total bill was $21 instead of over $1k and he had it done in a couple of hours ready to go for me. I can’t thank him enough or the tech who worked on it for making things happen so quickly for me and saving me $1000 right before I’m about to have a newborn. I will always highly recommend d’ella but specifically Damien. He is a true gem! He’s always been so kind and helpful and really saved the day!
