Crash Champions Collision Repair Madison Heights Introduce

As an Auto Repair Station, Crash Champions Collision Repair Madison Heights aims to provide a range of services for vehicles needing attention after an accident or other damage. Located at 31191 Stephenson Hwy, Madison Heights, MI 48071, USA, this facility is positioned to serve the local community in Madison Heights and the surrounding areas. The phone number for inquiries is (248) 616-0025, and they can also be reached on mobile at +1 248-616-0025. When considering any automotive repair service, it's essential to understand the full scope of what's offered, the typical customer experience, and any unique features that set a business apart.

When it comes to the environment of a typical auto repair station, especially one specializing in collision repair, one would generally expect a dedicated space for vehicle intake, assessment, and repair. This would include a reception area for customers, a workshop area equipped with various tools and machinery for bodywork, painting, and structural repairs, and potentially a secure lot for damaged vehicles awaiting service or pickup. Given that it's a collision repair center, there would likely be specialized bays for different stages of the repair process, from disassembly and frame straightening to painting and reassembly. The focus would be on restoring vehicles to their pre-accident condition, both aesthetically and structurally. While specific details about the internal layout and amenities of this particular Crash Champions location are not readily available through general online information, the standard for such facilities includes cleanliness and organization, crucial for efficient and high-quality work. The ability to handle various makes and models, and to work with different insurance companies, is also a common expectation for a professional auto repair station.

The core services offered by an Auto Repair Station like Crash Champions Collision Repair typically revolve around comprehensive vehicle bodywork and collision repair. This includes, but is not limited to, dent removal, frame straightening, bumper repair and replacement, paint matching and refinishing, and windshield or glass replacement. Beyond the visible damage, collision repair often involves inspecting and addressing underlying structural damage that may not be immediately apparent. A full-service collision center would also handle mechanical repairs related to the accident, such as suspension or alignment issues that arise from an impact. The goal is to provide a complete repair solution, returning the vehicle to a safe and operational state. Furthermore, many auto repair stations offer a warranty on their work, a common practice to instill customer confidence and ensure long-term satisfaction. Given the nature of collision repair, working seamlessly with insurance companies is a vital service, often involving direct billing and handling of claims to streamline the process for the customer. This can include providing detailed estimates, communicating repair progress, and ensuring all necessary documentation is in order for insurance payouts.

Features of a collision repair facility often extend beyond just the repair work itself. Customer convenience features are increasingly common, such as towing assistance, rental car arrangements, and a streamlined repair process. Many modern repair shops also leverage technology for diagnostics and repair, ensuring precision and efficiency. Online tracking of repair status is another feature that some facilities offer, providing customers with real-time updates on their vehicle's progress. Communication with customers is a key feature, with advisors keeping clients informed at every stage of the repair. For Crash Champions Collision Repair Madison Heights, based on the provided customer reviews, some operational aspects and customer service experiences have been highlighted. One customer mentioned issues with stated Saturday hours and the after-hours key drop-off process, indicating a potential disconnect in communication or procedure. Another review points to concerns regarding hardware post-repair and the approach of a specific technician regarding the accident's cause and insurance deductibles. These observations suggest that while the actual repair and painting work might be satisfactory according to some, there have been challenges with the customer service and overall communication aspects at this particular location.

When it comes to promotional information, auto repair stations often advertise their expertise, certifications, and customer service. This might include highlighting factory certifications, I-CAR certifications for technicians, or affiliations with major insurance providers as a "preferred" repair shop. Special offers, such as discounts on deductibles or complimentary detailing services after repair, are also common promotional tactics. However, for Crash Champions Collision Repair Madison Heights, the available information primarily consists of customer feedback. The provided reviews, while offering insight, present a mixed picture of the customer experience. One reviewer expressed significant dissatisfaction, citing issues with the quality of repair work leading to further damage, a disputed warranty claim, and poor customer service, going so far as to advise others to "AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!" This customer also questioned the authenticity of positive reviews. Another customer's experience detailed difficulties with communication regarding key drop-off, perceived unprofessionalism from a technician in investigating the accident's cause rather than focusing on repairs, and missing hardware post-repair. While these reviews do not constitute promotional information in the traditional sense, they are critical for potential customers to consider when evaluating the business. It is important for any business to address customer feedback, both positive and negative, to maintain a strong reputation and attract new clients. For Crash Champions Collision Repair Madison Heights, these reviews suggest areas where customer service and quality assurance might benefit from further attention to align with customer expectations and industry standards. The emphasis on professional conduct, clear communication, and accountability for repair quality appears to be a recurring theme in the provided customer feedback.

Crash Champions Collision Repair Madison Heights Customer Reviews

The website states that the shop is open on Saturdays until 12 PM, but when I arrived at 11 AM on FEB 22nd, it was closed. I parked in the designated drop-off spot, left a quote from another location that referred me there based on their stated Saturday hours, and placed additional information along with my car key in the after-hours drop box. Despite this, I later received a call from service desk personnel Kristen asking where the key was and why I had "just left it sitting," which was concerning given that I had used the drop box as instructed. Moving forward with the repair process, I had to work with the technician/advisor, Radwan. Following the collision, I had to temporarily secure my bumper to prevent it from scraping against the tires while driving. Instead of focusing on the approved repairs, the technician Radwan repeatedly insinuated that I was being dishonest about the initial cause of the accident, something that should be left to insurance investigators, not the repair staff. He insisted that I return so he could “show me” rather than simply completing the necessary work. After the repair, I noticed missing hardware that had been present before & I had before pictures as backup. When I pointed it out, the technician’s response was simply that they "didn’t have any." Additionally, he continuously emphasized my deductible, which was ultimately waived by my insurance company. This technician should focus on performing approved repairs efficiently and professionally rather than assuming the role of an investigator. The staff that actually did the repair, and painting were great but the customer service is far below the average expectations, I will never choose this shop for anything ever again.

I would give this place negative stars if possible. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!! I brought my truck here to be repaired after progressive referred me there as a preferred body shop with lifetime warranty for the work done. Somebody hit my driver side door and front side panel and door had to be replaced. After about a month after I get my truck back, my door was not properly bolted down to the frame of my truck causing more damage when opening and it not properly secured when driving causing wind gusts into my face while driving. I brought it back to claim the warranty and the advisor said this was new damage even though there was no new damage beside where they did the work, no dents, no scratches, nothing. After I told him it was because of the poor work done on my truck he was rude and said there’s nothing they will do to fix it. Now my own insurance will not cover the work done because progressive and crash champions worked on it because they are liable for any problems caused by the poor job of crash champions. The other bodyshop I brought it to had 2 previous workers who used to work at this location and they told me this place does terrible work and the customer service is atrocious. Please save yourself time and money by avoiding this terrible business at all costs. Look at the other reviews similar to this one. Notice how all of the 5 stars seem to be fake and they never own up to the poor work or the “warranty” they claim to have for the work done.

Liars. Eager to get my vehicle, can't get parts, it's a brand new vehicle, they just can't get the parts. Knew in advance they couldn't get parts. Still told me an ETA of January 9th on December 14th. It's now January 6th and they've updated the hypothetical ETA to the 24th, but when I called they said that isn't true, they still have no idea when/if they can get the parts. THIS PLACE WILL COST YOU MONEY IF you believe what they tell you. PLAN ACCORDINGLY if you drop your car off here, you will not get it back when you are told to expect it back. (buy a beater instead of renting) Lack of transparency, lack of honesty, they did professionally tell me off when I called and pointed out their shortcomings. 10/10 go somewhere else if you have the choice. I should have listened to my tow truck driver. My review will remain up for eternity, because it is honest and genuine. I don't change my reviews. Don't ask.

Progressive directed me to have my car repair done there. In 2023, way past Covid, the shop took about a month to replace my bumper. When I finally got my car back, realized it wasn’t seated properly on the back of the car. I went back the same day, was told they had used non-OEM parts and would have to order a new OEM part for me. I called and called to follow up and after several months, they fessed up that the part had never been ordered. Finally the day came for them to properly install my bumper. I had been told initially they would do it same day. But now, they said it would be another week. Back to the rental place I go. I finally get my car back and one of the little plastic clips to hold up the cover in my tailgate has been covered with a cap so the string has nothing to attach to. They said they would order the part, I asked them to send it to my house and I’d install it. To date, have never received the part. Do yourself a favor and avoid this place!!!
