Welcome to Cooper Auto, an Auto Repair Station located at 902 S Main St, Piqua, OH 45356, USA. Cooper Auto offers automotive repair services to the local community. You can reach them at (937) 214-3155 or their mobile line at +1 937-214-3155.

As a local Auto Repair Station, Cooper Auto aims to serve the vehicle maintenance and repair needs of the Piqua, Ohio area. However, the available online reviews paint a concerning picture of customer experiences, particularly regarding the effectiveness of repairs and the duration of service. This introduction aims to provide an objective overview based solely on the provided customer feedback.

One customer recounted a highly negative experience where their car was at Cooper Auto for "just shy of 3 Months." According to this review, despite the extended period and a significant financial investment ("Quite Abit money later"), the vehicle's condition was reportedly as bad or even worse than when it was brought in, rendering it undrivable. The customer expressed profound disappointment, stating they felt they were making payments towards a fixed car but were ultimately left with "Out Money & Still No Running Car."

Another customer shared a similarly unsatisfactory experience. Their girlfriend took her car to Cooper Auto due to the engine light and three other dashboard lights being illuminated. After having the car for two weeks, the customer reported that all the same lights were still on when the vehicle was picked up. The explanation given was that a sensor in the engine had been replaced, but the mechanic was unable to resolve the dashboard light issues, dismissing it with an "oh well" attitude. This reviewer further mentioned seeking a second opinion at a different shop, where they were informed that the replaced sensor was not the actual problem. Additionally, this customer reported that half a tank of gas was used during the two-week period, and the car was returned with a low fuel level.

Based on these two customer reviews, it is challenging to definitively outline the environment, services, or features of Cooper Auto in a positive light. The overwhelming sentiment from the available feedback points towards significant issues with repair effectiveness and customer service. However, we can objectively note the services that were attempted, as mentioned in the reviews:

  • Engine Light Diagnosis and Repair: One instance involved addressing an illuminated engine light, which reportedly was not resolved despite a sensor replacement.
  • Dashboard Light Diagnosis and Repair: The same customer mentioned three other dashboard lights being on, which also remained unresolved after the service period.
  • Sensor Replacement: A sensor in the engine was reportedly replaced as part of the attempted repair.
  • General Automotive Repair: The first review, detailing a three-month service period for an unspecified issue resulting in an undrivable car, suggests that Cooper Auto undertakes more extensive repair work beyond specific component replacements.

The features that can be objectively identified from the negative reviews include:

  • Extended Service Times: One customer reported their car being at the shop for nearly three months.
  • Potentially Ineffective Repairs: Both reviews describe situations where the initial problems were not resolved despite the time and money invested.
  • Lack of Resolution: In one case, the unresolved issue with dashboard lights was seemingly dismissed by the mechanic.
  • Potential for Unexplained Vehicle Usage: One customer noted a significant amount of fuel consumption during the service period.

The environment of Cooper Auto, as perceived through these reviews, appears to be one where repairs may not always be effective, and communication or problem-solving may be lacking. The extended service time in one instance could suggest potential issues with workflow, diagnosis, or the availability of necessary parts. The apparent dismissal of unresolved issues and the fuel consumption raise concerns about the overall customer service and care taken with vehicles.

Promotional information is entirely absent from the provided customer reviews. Given the negative nature of the available feedback, it is unlikely that any promotional efforts would be highlighted in this context. Potential customers would need to seek information about any current promotions or service guarantees directly from Cooper Auto, keeping in mind the experiences shared by these reviewers.

In conclusion, the limited online information available for Cooper Auto in Piqua, OH, consists of two highly negative customer reviews. These reviews detail prolonged service times, unresolved mechanical issues (including engine and dashboard lights), potential misdiagnosis, and concerns regarding vehicle usage while in the shop's care. Based solely on this information, potential local users should exercise caution and consider these experiences when deciding where to take their vehicles for repair. Further investigation and potentially seeking feedback from additional sources may be advisable to gain a more comprehensive understanding of the services and customer experience at Cooper Auto.

My girlfriend took her car in because the engine light and three other lights were on he had the car two weeks and when she picked it up all the same lights were on. Said he replaced a sensor in the engine and he couldn’t get the dash lights to go off. Hearing from a second opinion at a different shop what he replaced wasn’t even the issue and obviously didn’t fix it if the lights were still on. He just kind of wrote it off as “oh well”. Also used half a tank of gas and left it on low fuel.
