Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram Service Center Introduce

The Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram Service Center, located at 20900 Hawthorne Blvd, Torrance, CA 90503, USA, serves the local community as an auto repair station specializing in vehicles from the Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, and Ram brands. As a designated service center, it aims to provide a range of maintenance, repair, and parts solutions for owners of these specific vehicle types. The facility’s phone number is (833) 915-0130, which is also accessible via mobile at +1 833-915-0130.

As an **Auto Repair Station**, the primary function of the Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram Service Center is to offer comprehensive automotive services. This includes routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire rotations, and multi-point inspections, as well as more complex repairs involving engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical systems. They also provide services related to **safety recalls**, a crucial aspect of vehicle ownership that addresses potential defects or safety concerns identified by the manufacturer. The center's focus on specific brands implies a specialization in the unique engineering and diagnostic requirements of Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, and Ram vehicles, potentially offering a higher degree of expertise for these models.

Regarding the **environment** of the Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram Service Center, as a dealership-affiliated service center, one might anticipate a relatively structured and organized facility. Typically, such establishments feature a waiting area for customers, a service desk for check-ins and inquiries, and a dedicated service bay area where technicians work on vehicles. The aim is often to present a clean and professional appearance, consistent with the brand image of Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, and Ram. However, specific details about the exact amenities or the cleanliness of the waiting area are not available in the provided information.

The **services** offered would broadly encompass all aspects of vehicle care for the mentioned brands. This includes:

  • **Scheduled Maintenance:** Adhering to manufacturer-recommended service intervals to ensure optimal vehicle performance and longevity.
  • **Diagnostic Services:** Utilizing specialized tools and trained technicians to identify and troubleshoot issues.
  • **Brake Service:** Inspection, repair, and replacement of brake components, a critical safety service.
  • **Tire Services:** Sales, rotation, balancing, and repair of tires.
  • **Fluid Services:** Checks and replacements of essential vehicle fluids.
  • **Battery Services:** Testing and replacement of vehicle batteries.
  • **Recall Services:** Addressing manufacturer-issued safety and product recalls, often provided at no cost to the customer.
  • **Genuine OEM Parts:** As a brand-specific service center, they would likely stock and use original equipment manufacturer (OEM) parts, which are designed to meet the exact specifications of the vehicles.

When considering the **features** of this particular auto parts store and service center, the primary feature is its specialization. Focusing solely on Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, and Ram vehicles means the technicians are likely factory-trained and possess in-depth knowledge of these specific models. This specialization can lead to more accurate diagnostics and repairs, as well as access to proprietary tools and software. The availability of genuine OEM parts is another significant feature, ensuring that replacement components are designed to integrate perfectly with the vehicle's existing systems. Additionally, the service center would likely have access to manufacturer service bulletins and technical information, which can be crucial for addressing complex or recurring issues.

However, it is important to consider customer experiences, as these often highlight the practical realities of a service center's operations. Based on customer reviews, some potential challenges and areas for improvement have been noted. One customer reported significant difficulties in scheduling an appointment for an urgent safety recall related to a brake issue, citing unanswered phone calls and an inability to schedule in person. This suggests a potential issue with responsiveness and appointment scheduling efficiency. Another review describes a frustrating experience involving a delayed appointment, confusion regarding the vehicle's status, and dissatisfaction with the initial workmanship. While a manager reportedly intervened to rectify the situation, these accounts indicate that customer service and operational consistency might be areas where the center faces challenges. The concern about a safety recall not being addressed promptly is particularly noteworthy, given the critical nature of such repairs.

As for **promotional information**, the provided text does not contain any specific details about ongoing promotions, discounts, or special offers. However, it is common for auto repair stations, especially those affiliated with dealerships, to offer various promotions to attract and retain customers. These might include:

  • **Service Specials:** Discounts on specific maintenance services, such as oil changes, tire rotations, or brake inspections.
  • **Parts Discounts:** Reduced prices on genuine OEM parts or accessory bundles.
  • **Seasonal Promotions:** Offers tied to specific times of the year, like pre-winter checks or summer travel preparation packages.
  • **Recall Campaigns:** While recalls are generally free, some dealerships might offer additional incentives or streamline the process to encourage customers to address them.
  • **Customer Loyalty Programs:** Rewards for repeat business or referrals.

Without explicit information, potential customers interested in promotions would need to contact the service center directly via phone at (833) 915-0130 or visit their website, if available, to inquire about any current deals. The mention of receiving a text about trading in or buying a new Jeep suggests that the dealership may engage in marketing efforts to existing customers, potentially combining service visits with sales opportunities.

In summary, the Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram Service Center in Torrance is positioned as a specialized auto repair station for owners of Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, and Ram vehicles. While it offers the benefits of brand-specific expertise and genuine parts, customer feedback indicates potential areas for improvement in responsiveness, appointment management, and service delivery. For local users, it represents a dedicated option for their specific vehicle service needs, with the understanding that direct communication and verification of service expectations might be beneficial based on reported experiences.

Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram Service Center Customer Reviews

I've had an incredibly frustrating experience trying to make an appointment for an urgent safety recall concerning a brake issue. Despite my repeated attempts to schedule this over the phone for more than a week, no one ever picks up. Left with no choice, I drove to the location in person, only to be told that they could not make an appointment for me on the spot. Instead, they handed me a phone number with an extension that, unsurprisingly, also goes unanswered. This lack of responsiveness and poor customer service is unacceptable, especially for a safety recall of this magnitude.

I had to beg for an appointment for starters. I felt as if I was inconveniencing the person helping me. I got an appointment for the next day at 9am so I arrive on time to drop my car off and (meantime I received a text to trade in or buy a new Jeep) came back at 330 from then to maybe 5 no one knew anything about my car. The person I dropped it off with even looked me in the eye and said another person dropped my car off 😐. I go to my car and saw nothing was done and was told I didn’t have to pay for the service for the inconvenience. Once I saw the workmanship I said I’ll pay just to have it done properly… The only saving grace was another manager that said he’d order the part again and make it right. At this very moment I have no confidence in this location.

I have a tough time going from Acura to Dodge service centers. The attention to detail just suck at Dodge. The one bright spot this service center had WAS Yeimy Beltran and for whatever reason she's no longer here. 😭😭😭😭😭 Dear this service department, FIND YEIMY AND MAKE HER THE MANAGER or offer a practice to ensure that the WHOLE CAR is taken care of. I should not have to return days later for an oil change after spending $1000 with having my truck for two days.

Fourth time we dropped off our Dodge ram City ProMaster the same thing which is the air conditioner. This is the timeline: 1) one AC leak is at the hose from the compressor to the condenser and the hoses on backorder several weeks waiting for a new hose. 2) they report back and say they didn't really need to change a hose and they only needed to change the seals of the hose. 3) AC leaks out again and they looked at the compressor (which is what the hose are attached to on one end) and change that out. 4) AC leaks out again and they change the seals again. The fourth time it was "fixed" we let it sit and finally tested it at the dealership before driving off of the dealership and the AC was warm again. It's been 7 months total! I feel like they should extend the warranty on the whole car!!! When does a lemon law apply? Summer is coming up!!! Vikki

Good service center. Online booking for regular service is great. Communication is good while work is being carried out. Betsy and John have both always been really good to work with.
