Chevrolet Service Center Introduce

Introducing Chevrolet Service Center, an establishment categorized under Auto Repair Stations, located at 14001 Telegraph Rd, Redford Township, MI 48239, USA. This service center operates in conjunction with a Chevrolet dealership, offering repair and maintenance services for Chevrolet vehicles, and potentially other GM makes. Based on the available customer reviews, the experiences at this service center appear to be varied, with some customers reporting significant issues with service quality and professionalism, while others have had positive interactions. This introduction aims to provide an objective overview based on the contrasting feedback to inform local users.

Information regarding the specific environment of the Chevrolet Service Center is not detailed in the reviews. However, as part of a dealership, it likely includes a service reception area for customer check-in and consultation, service bays equipped for various repair and maintenance tasks, and possibly a body shop for collision repairs. The presence of loaner vehicles suggests a facility capable of accommodating customers whose cars require extended service. The contrasting experiences reported by customers do not directly reflect on the physical environment but rather on the operational processes and customer interactions within that environment.

The services offered at Chevrolet Service Center are typical of a dealership-affiliated repair facility. These likely include routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire rotations, and scheduled servicing, as well as more complex mechanical and electrical repairs. The mention of a body shop indicates that collision repair services are also provided. One positive review highlights recommended services being completed efficiently, along with a complimentary car wash. Conversely, a highly negative review details issues with initial accident repairs, leading to persistent electrical problems, and subsequent unsatisfactory handling of follow-up service requests, including denial of a loaner vehicle and refusal to inspect parts. This suggests that while a range of services is offered, the quality and execution can be inconsistent.

The features of Chevrolet Service Center, as perceived through the lens of customer reviews, present a stark contrast. A potential positive feature is the presence of service advisors like Bryan, who is described as personable and informative, facilitating easy check-in and providing timely service, even including a car wash. The availability of loaner vehicles could also be considered a feature aimed at customer convenience. However, significant negative features emerge from another customer's extensive account, including alleged dishonesty regarding the loaner vehicle's status, refusal to address repair issues ("too much work"), threats of reporting a loaner vehicle as stolen despite regular communication, and a perceived lack of respect and unprofessional treatment. The recurring electrical issues following an initial accident repair also point to potential deficiencies in the quality of work performed.

One customer provided a scathing review detailing a "horrible experience" with both the service and body shop. This account includes allegations of being lied to about a loaner vehicle being sold, followed by a contradictory explanation about mileage limits and a subsequent refusal to inspect parts. The reviewer also recounts a previous negative experience where an accident repair was allegedly done improperly, leading to ongoing electrical issues. The customer describes feeling disrespected, treated as incompetent, and even threatened with having the loaner vehicle reported as stolen. This overwhelmingly negative feedback paints a picture of a highly unprofessional establishment with significant shortcomings in customer service and repair quality.

In response to this negative review, an individual identifying as the owner offered a reply, referencing repairs made two years prior and disputing some of the claims, particularly regarding a dead battery upon arrival. However, the original reviewer countered this response with further details of dissatisfaction, alleging repeated instances of being dismissed regarding the persistent electrical issues, accusing the collision shop of denying secondary repairs they had charged insurance for, and questioning the quality and even the completion of those repairs due to the ongoing problems and lack of a receipt. This exchange further underscores the deep dissatisfaction and unresolved issues experienced by this customer.

In contrast, a more recent review offers a positive perspective, praising Bryan, the service advisor, for being personable and informative. This customer reported an easy check-in, timely service completion within an hour, and the added bonus of a free car wash. This positive experience stands in stark contrast to the negative account, highlighting the inconsistency in customer experiences at this service center.

For local users in Redford Township, Michigan, considering Chevrolet Service Center for their vehicle needs, it is crucial to weigh these contrasting experiences carefully. The positive review suggests that some customers may encounter efficient and courteous service. However, the detailed and highly critical negative review raises significant concerns about potential dishonesty, unprofessionalism, and the quality of repair work, particularly in complex situations like post-accident repairs and follow-up service. The stark difference in these accounts indicates a lack of consistent service quality, making it difficult to predict the experience a new customer might have.

Promotional information is not explicitly mentioned in the provided reviews, with the exception of a complimentary car wash noted in the positive feedback. Local users would need to inquire directly with Chevrolet Service Center about any current promotions or service specials they might be offering. Given the conflicting customer experiences, it would be prudent for potential customers to seek additional reviews or consider alternative service options to ensure a satisfactory and reliable auto repair experience.

In conclusion, Chevrolet Service Center in Redford Township, MI, presents a mixed bag of customer experiences. While some customers, like the one who interacted with Bryan, report positive and efficient service, a detailed and highly critical review raises serious concerns about professionalism, honesty, and the quality of repair work, particularly concerning collision repairs and the handling of ongoing issues. Local users considering this service center should be aware of these contrasting reports and may want to seek further information or consider alternative options to ensure their auto repair needs are met with professionalism and competence. Contacting the service center directly at (313) 532-8754 for specific inquiries and to gauge their current service approach is recommended, keeping in mind the diverse experiences reported by previous customers.

Chevrolet Service Center Customer Reviews

Horrible experience. The service and body shop lied to me stating the car that was loaned out to me was sold and they refused to give me another loaner while I waited for my car. Afterwards, the director of the body shop, Mike, informed me that the car was not sold, but was over the mileage limit and that's why they needed it back. Then Mike refused to look at the parts in question stating "it was to much work." It was an exhausting experience and their was no resolution. I was reminded of my first experience with them, when I allowed them to repair my car after the accident. They did not fix my car properly, I've been having electrical issues with the vehicle ever since. It's been so difficult having to deal with this place, especially since it's supposed to be a professional facility. I did not have a professional experience, I was spoken to with very little respect and treated as though I was incompetent. Mike also threatened to report the loaner vehicle as stolen, even though I was communicating with the company regularly. It was just a terrible experience. I would never suggest this place to anyone. To be honest, I'm surprise that they are still getting business. Totally unprofessional establishment. In response to the owner: Thank you for your response, yes the repairs were made two years ago. But I brought my car to your collision shop multiple times after the repairs were made and was treated as though I was crazy because your mechanics refused then to look further into why my car was having electrical issues. But that's besides the point. After I reached out to my insurance (because I had to do their jobs for you) Progressive agreed to take a look at the secondary repairs that were made. (Which secondary repairs needed to be made because your "certified" mechanics missed something then, and still missed something because the issues never stopped.) As for the cost to you, I did not DRIVE my car to you with a dead battery. But regardless of that, the battery was still under warranty from when your company replacing it from the accident. It's not my fault you guys are unprofessional and have no care for other people's vehicles when it's in your care, maybe next time turn the car off so the car isn't on for a week. Because it took a week to contact me about an update on a diagnosis for the car on things that we did not originally agree on. But again, Progressive paid for that. As for the secondary repairs that were made on my vehicle, your collision shop kept denying they ever did it, until I found what they charged Progressive for it. But I still have not been given a receipt from Matick with those repairs included, so it leads me to wonder if Matick ever did the repair what they claimed or did they just committed insurance fraud and took the money. Because as I mentioned, I had to bring the car back multiple times after that additional repair was made. So, regardless of what you are trying to post for the public, your employees are probably not trained properly to handle collision or service work, and perhaps you guys should just stick with selling cars instead...if you can even do that right 🙂 I wish you all the best, and I pray your future customers will look at the reviews before coming to this facility. And not make the mistake so many of us have made.

Bryan was personable and informative about the recommended services for my vehicle. The check in was easy. Service was completed within an hour and a free car wash to top it off during all the snow here. I had a wonderful experience and will be back for all the service needs of my vehicle. Great experience!

Very professional, detailed oriented. Facility was very clean. Everything was done quickly. Appreciated that they ordered parts then called for me to drop off car when they were ready to work on. I received car back in 8 days and did not have to stay in a rental. I was taken to rental place . This was very much appreciated. Good experience.

Professional, efficient, and honest. Exceptional customer service. Took my 21' Traverse in for an exhaust problem. They had my vehicle repaired in under two hours and informed me the part was still covered under warranty so it didn't cost anything. Couldn't ask for better service. I will definately be back to this Chevrolet location.

So efficient! I called to make the appt, drove in as directed, was greeted by very friendly and knowledgeable staff. I left for the service and received a text about 35 to 40 minutes later saying it was ready. Everything went very smooth.
