Matick Auto Collision and Auto Body Center Introduce

Matick Auto Collision and Auto Body Center, located at 25195 Glendale, Redford Township, MI 48239, USA, operates as a specialized "Auto Repair Station" focusing specifically on collision and auto body repairs. While many auto repair stations handle mechanical issues, Matick's expertise lies in restoring vehicles to their pre-accident condition, addressing dents, scratches, and more significant structural damage. For direct contact, customers can reach them at (313) 362-0107 or +1 313-362-0107.

The environment at Matick Auto Collision and Auto Body Center is expected to be that of a professional body shop. This typically means a dedicated space for vehicle assessment, a paint booth, and various work bays equipped for straightening frames, panel replacement, and intricate detailing. A clean and organized facility is crucial for quality bodywork, as precision and cleanliness are paramount in achieving a flawless finish. While specific details about a customer waiting area are not provided, body shops generally offer a space for clients to discuss repairs, review estimates, and complete paperwork. The focus of the environment would be on demonstrating capability and professionalism in collision repair, ensuring customers feel confident in the care their vehicle will receive.

The services offered by Matick Auto Collision and Auto Body Center are highly specialized, falling squarely within the realm of collision and auto body repair. Unlike general mechanic shops that focus on engine, transmission, or brake issues, Matick is equipped to handle:

  • **Dent Repair:** From minor dings to significant dents caused by collisions.
  • **Panel Replacement:** Replacing damaged body panels such as doors, fenders, hoods, and bumpers.
  • **Paint Matching and Refinishing:** Expert paint services to perfectly match existing vehicle color and restore the original finish, often including multiple layers of paint and clear coat.
  • **Frame Straightening:** Using specialized equipment to restore a vehicle's frame to factory specifications after a collision.
  • **Post-Collision Detailing:** As highlighted in a customer review, this includes comprehensive interior and exterior cleaning to make the vehicle "look like new," with attention to details like floor liners.
  • **Liftgate and Specific Component Repair:** As seen with the 2024 Buick liftgate repair, they handle specific, intricate components of modern vehicles.
  • **Repair Estimates:** Providing detailed and reasonable estimates for labor and materials involved in collision repair.
These services are critical for both cosmetic restoration and ensuring the structural integrity and safety of a vehicle after an accident.

Several key features distinguish Matick Auto Collision and Auto Body Center, as evidenced by customer feedback. A primary feature is their **professionalism and pleasant customer interaction**. The review of the Buick repair explicitly praises the team as "extremely professional and pleasant to work with," which is a significant factor in customer satisfaction, particularly during the often stressful process of collision repair. Their ability to complete work **on time** is another valuable feature, indicating efficient processes and good project management. The most compelling feature, however, is the **quality of the repair and detailing**. The customer's 2024 Buick, after a liftgate dent repair, "looks like new, both outside and was perfectly detailed inside. Even the floor liners looked new!" This meticulous attention to detail and commitment to a high-quality finish is paramount in auto body work.

Another notable feature is the availability of **on-site loaner vehicles**. This is a considerable convenience for customers, as it minimizes disruption to their daily lives while their vehicle is undergoing repairs, a common challenge when cars are in the shop for extended periods. This amenity is a clear advantage for customers who rely on their vehicles for transportation.

However, it's also important to note that customer experiences can vary, and a mixed review indicates a potential area for improvement in "attention to detail" for some repairs, particularly for customers with a high "attachment" to their vehicle. The mention of a "parking lot bump that took a little over 3 weeks to fix, with mixed results" suggests that while many repairs are outstanding, consistency across all jobs might be an ongoing challenge. This provides an objective view, acknowledging both the strong positives and potential areas for customer consideration.

Regarding promotional information, while the provided reviews do not detail specific monetary discounts or advertised deals, the service quality itself serves as a powerful form of promotion. The "outstanding service" and the outcome of the Buick repair, where the vehicle looked "like new," are highly effective testimonials that would attract new clients. The transparency in providing a "reasonable" estimate also acts as an indirect promotion, building trust by suggesting fair pricing for the labor and materials involved. Furthermore, for customers whose insurance covers the total cost (no deductible), the on-site loaner service and the overall professional handling of claims would be a strong attractive feature, implicitly promoting their service to insured individuals seeking hassle-free repairs.

In conclusion, Matick Auto Collision and Auto Body Center in Redford Township, MI, functions as a highly specialized "Auto Repair Station" focused on restoring vehicles damaged in collisions. Their core strengths lie in providing professional service, high-quality bodywork and detailing, and offering convenient amenities like on-site loaner cars. While the consistency of "attention to detail" might vary in some isolated cases, the overwhelmingly positive experience for complex repairs like the Buick liftgate demonstrates their capability and commitment to delivering exceptional results, making them a strong contender for those in need of expert body and collision repairs.

Matick Auto Collision and Auto Body Center Customer Reviews

Truly outstanding service! Brought in my 2024 Buick for liftgate dent. The estimate was reasonable for the labor and materials. Work was completed on time. The team there is extremely professional and pleasant to work with. My Buick looks like new, both outside and was perfectly detailed inside. Even the floor liners looked new! I can highly recommend Matick Chevrolet for body repairs.

If you're leasing a vehicle with little to no intentions of buying it out at the end and your insurance is covering the TOTAL (no deductible) cost then this shop could be an option. If you have an attachment to you vehicle higher than "it gets me from point A to B" then look elsewhere. Pro: They have on site loaners as a plus. Con: Their attention to detail is questionable The attached photo shows a parking lot bump that took a little over 3 weeks to fix, with mixed results...

Horrible experience. The service and body shop lied to me stating the car that was loaned out to me was sold and they refused to give me another loaner while I waited for my car. Afterwards, the director of the body shop, Mike, informed me that the car was not sold, but was over the mileage limit and that's why they needed it back. Then Mike refused to look at the parts in question stating "it was to much work." It was an exhausting experience and their was no resolution. I was reminded of my first experience with them, when I allowed them to repair my car after the accident. They did not fix my car properly, I've been having electrical issues with the vehicle ever since. It's been so difficult having to deal with this place, especially since it's supposed to be a professional facility. I did not have a professional experience, I was spoken to with very little respect and treated as though I was incompetent. Mike also threatened to report the loaner vehicle as stolen, even though I was communicating with the company regularly. It was just a terrible experience. I would never suggest this place to anyone. To be honest, I'm surprise that they are still getting business. Totally unprofessional establishment. In response to the owner: Thank you for your response, yes the repairs were made two years ago. But I brought my car to your collision shop multiple times after the repairs were made and was treated as though I was crazy because your mechanics refused then to look further into why my car was having electrical issues. But that's besides the point. After I reached out to my insurance (because I had to do their jobs for you) Progressive agreed to take a look at the secondary repairs that were made. (Which secondary repairs needed to be made because your "certified" mechanics missed something then, and still missed something because the issues never stopped.) As for the cost to you, I did not DRIVE my car to you with a dead battery. But regardless of that, the battery was still under warranty from when your company replacing it from the accident. It's not my fault you guys are unprofessional and have no care for other people's vehicles when it's in your care, maybe next time turn the car off so the car isn't on for a week. Because it took a week to contact me about an update on a diagnosis for the car on things that we did not originally agree on. But again, Progressive paid for that. As for the secondary repairs that were made on my vehicle, your collision shop kept denying they ever did it, until I found what they charged Progressive for it. But I still have not been given a receipt from Matick with those repairs included, so it leads me to wonder if Matick ever did the repair what they claimed or did they just committed insurance fraud and took the money. Because as I mentioned, I had to bring the car back multiple times after that additional repair was made. So, regardless of what you are trying to post for the public, your employees are probably not trained properly to handle collision or service work, and perhaps you guys should just stick with selling cars instead...if you can even do that right 🙂 I wish you all the best, and I pray your future customers will look at the reviews before coming to this facility. And not make the mistake so many of us have made.

Absolutely beautiful work, my car looks like new! Friendly, competent staff, well organized and exceeding all expectations in how the whole thing is handled. This is my second experience with the service here, and I would not think twice about where to take my car for repair, if need be! Places like this one make one realize that people in this country take pride in their work, and deserve the highest praise for it! Thank you for this wonderful experience! Ranka Mulkern Dearborn, MI

Very friendly and excellent work. The staff was great in keeping us updated on the repairs. The work done to my car was excellent. They returned the car to me in perfect condition. Everything was cleaned from bumper-to-bumper inside and out. We are very impressed with your service.
