Car Stereo One Introduce

For individuals in Toledo, Ohio, and the surrounding areas seeking to enhance their vehicle's audio experience or improve its aesthetics and privacy through window tinting, Car Stereo One has long been a notable name. Located at 3120 Central Ave, Toledo, OH 43606, USA, this establishment operates within the broader category of "Auto Repair Stations" by offering specialized electronics and customization services for vehicles. They can be reached at (419) 474-5553 or via mobile at +1 419-474-5553, serving as a point of contact for inquiries and appointments.

As an electronics store operating within the "Auto Repair Stations" framework, Car Stereo One primarily focuses on automotive aftermarket installations. This includes a wide array of services and products aimed at upgrading a vehicle's technological capabilities and comfort. While specific details about the interior environment of their physical store are not extensively detailed in available public information, one can infer from their services that it is equipped for professional installations, likely featuring a showroom for car audio products and a dedicated bay area for vehicle work.

The services offered by Car Stereo One are centered around vehicle electronics and customization. Their core offerings include the sale and installation of car audio systems, ranging from basic speaker upgrades to complex multi-component systems with amplifiers, subwoofers, and custom enclosures. They stock products from various reputable manufacturers such as Alpine, Pioneer, and Focal, providing customers with a selection to fit different budgets and preferences. Beyond car audio, a significant part of their business involves window tinting services, aimed at enhancing privacy, reducing glare, and improving the aesthetic appeal of vehicles. Other services typically offered by such establishments include remote car starter installations, backup cameras, dash cams, and potentially even lighting upgrades for vehicles. Their website indicates a long history in the Toledo area, suggesting a deep understanding of customer needs in this specialized field.

Regarding features, Car Stereo One aims to position itself as a provider of "Toledo's Best Custom Car Stereo" and "Toledo's Best Car Stereo Installers." Their website emphasizes "professional installation services" by "certified installers" who possess the skills and expertise to handle various audio system installations, from simple upgrades to complex custom setups. They also highlight their commitment to "exceptional customer service and commitment to quality," aiming to deliver the "best possible experience." These features are designed to attract customers looking for specialized knowledge and reliable installation for their vehicle electronics.

However, an objective review of readily available customer feedback on the internet reveals a mixed experience, particularly concerning punctuality, communication, and customer satisfaction post-service. Some customers have reported significant wait times for scheduled appointments, with work not commencing for several hours or even being deferred. There have also been instances where customers felt that crucial information regarding product compatibility or installation processes was not clearly communicated upfront, leading to dissatisfaction with the final outcome and a perceived lack of ownership from the business when concerns were raised. For example, one customer detailed an instance of being advised to purchase speakers that were incompatible with their existing BOSE system without prior disclosure of potential sound degradation, leading to a frustrating and unresolved issue. Another customer expressed frustration about waiting over three hours for a scheduled window tint appointment only for the work not to be started, with the business reportedly refusing a refund and pushing for a reschedule. These reviews suggest that while the establishment aims for professionalism, there are areas where execution and customer communication could be significantly improved.

From the information available, there isn't explicit detailed promotional information, such as current sales or specific discounts, consistently advertised. However, businesses in this category often engage in various forms of promotion. This could include offering bundle deals on audio systems and installation, discounts on window tinting packages, or seasonal sales on remote starters. Some establishments also run promotions through platforms like Groupon, offering reduced prices on services like window tinting with certain conditions. Given the competitive nature of the aftermarket automotive electronics industry, it is advisable for potential customers to contact Car Stereo One directly at the provided phone numbers to inquire about any ongoing promotions or special offers they may have at the time of their inquiry. The general expectation in this market is that businesses will offer competitive pricing for their services, and customers often compare quotes from multiple providers before making a decision.

In conclusion, Car Stereo One, operating as a specialized electronics provider within the "Auto Repair Stations" landscape in Toledo, OH, offers a range of services centered on enhancing vehicle audio and aesthetics through window tinting. While they market themselves on professional installation and quality products, potential customers should be aware of the varied customer experiences reported online, particularly regarding appointment adherence, communication, and post-service satisfaction. It is recommended to have clear communication about expectations, timelines, and product compatibility before committing to services to ensure a satisfactory experience. They serve as a resource for those looking for specialized automotive electronics and customization, but due diligence on the customer's part regarding expectations and communication may be beneficial.

Car Stereo One Customer Reviews

Had an appointment for window tint scheduled. After waiting for over 3 hours, work was not started. Refused to issue refund, wanted to reschedule so I guess I can wait 3 hours for nothing next time? Why even schedule appointments if you aren't planning to complete the work in a timely manner. DO NOT COME HERE UNLESS YOU ARE OKAY WITH LEAVING FOR CAR THERE ALL DAY. His words not mine. Guess I'll just have to dispute the charge on my card. Sucks this place used to be great... *edit* I was never informed of the policy to leave the vehicle and pick it up at some unknown time later. Also, was never informed at drop off the service would not be done in timely manner, when in fact we were informed at drop off my vehicle was next and they were just finishing the car in front of mine. Had I known this policy up front I would have planned accordingly or considered other shops. I'm not implying you should rush the service, 3.5 hours is ample time to complete a window tint service, this isn't my first time getting windows tinted.

I'll try to make a long story short. I came in to get a quote for a speaker front driver side speaker replacement in my truck which had the BOSE speaker system in it. Ended up getting talked into 4 new Focal speakers, against better judgement. I always do my due diligence, so this is partially on me. I was told if I dropped off the truck at open (9am), it should be done around mid afternoon. Fast forward, it's the day of the appointment, I arrive about 30 minutes after open (9:30am), drop the truck off and leave. I get a phone call & voicemail from them at about 3:30pm, they say that my tire pressure light is lit up on the dash and my running boards aren't working. I call them back and told them I'm aware of both, they tell me it's standard procedure when they pull a vehicle in to do an inspection. Odd from an audio/stereo shop, and it was never disclosed they do this any time prior. I didn't take my truck there for an inspection, I took it there for speakers to be installed. Before I hang up I ask if they have a timeframe of when the truck might be done, Aaron says in short "Nope, don't know. We'll give you a call". Abrupt and rude, but onward we go. It's 6:40pm and still nothing from them, I call them and tell them to leave the keys in the truck once they're done. Also worth noting, I called around 4pm and mentioned this had to be done that day, as I needed the truck that weekend for work. They said yeah, no problem. Fast forward, I get phone calls around 8pm from them, couldn't get to the phone so I expect a voicemail saying the truck is done. Nope, nor any actual verbiage saying the truck is finished. Finally, Parker texts and asks if I want the truck unlocked or locked. So here I am at 8:30pm driving to pickup my assumed finished truck, hours past the timeframe that was initially given. Sounds like it was put off until the very end of the day. I pick up the truck and right away I notice the speakers are quieter. I come to find out the next day that these speakers are 4ohm and the BOSE system was 2ohm. Also, that the BOSE amp does NOT pair well w/ aftermarket speakers without additional components (aftermarket amp). Circling back, this is partially on me for not researching enough. It's Monday of the following week, I call and verbally indicate to Aaron my concerns and how I am not happy with the new speakers. He tells me to come in the next day and talk to Parker the owner. I come in the next day hoping to find a solution that works for the both of us, instead I'm met with an arrogant owner who does not care what customers have to say or the feedback given. It was like our conversation was going in circles with nothing getting through. I voiced that my issue was how I was really disappointed that I was not told beforehand that changing these speakers out, while maintaining the factory BOSE amp, would cause a drop in overall power and the sound level would go down. He said that it's always their recommendation that an aftermarket amp be installed and paired with speakers, but again this was NEVER mentioned at all up until this point, when the speakers had already been paid for and installed. He just kept saying how he's replaced tons of BOSE systems with few complaints, while not actually listening to what I was trying to voice to him. I WASN'T HAPPY with how the new speakers sounded. The conversation was like pulling teeth, hoping that he would suggest an option (not involving me paying another chunk of cash) to make it right. Hoping that he would own up to the fact that not all details were communicated prior to me paying over $1000 for these speakers. Instead, I got a quote for an amp at $600 out the door, after taking off $140 on the price. The experience was terrible, everything from communication, to customer service as a business was a 0 star experience. I would recommend NEVER taking your business here, at the end of the day, all they care about is making a profit off you and don't give a rats ass on how satisfied you are as a customer or your concerns once they collect.

Got my car starter installed here. After a few years, it stopped working. I took it in thinking I needed a new one, and they fixed it for free. I would never go anywhere else. They have installed my car starter on every car I own going back to 2001. This is my fourth car they have worked on. They are honest and fair. What else do you want?

Had my vehicle’s front two windows tinted to match the rest of the windows. Went with their top tier product and so happy I did! The team there took great care of me and the truck. Thanks Parker and team!

Car Stereo One is definitely the go to place for professional car enhancements. They have a team that provides expert advice to make your car look both cool and safe. Recently, I got a Rydeen dashcam installed and I'm thrilled with it. Although the installation took a full day, they ensured everything was perfect rather than just rushing it. A week ago, I purchased underfloor lights, wheel lights, rock lights, and a blind spot monitor for my car. They also tinted my windows, which has been excellent for privacy and reducing glare. I'm really excited about these additions and will certainly return for more custom upgrades. Car Stereo One's services are worth the price considering their attention to detail and quality of work. I'm looking forward to driving my uniquely upgraded car!
