Byers Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram Service Center Introduce

The Byers Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram Service Center, located at 465 S Hamilton Rd, Columbus, OH 43213, USA, operates as an Auto Repair Station primarily catering to the service and maintenance needs of Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge, and Ram vehicle owners, although they may also service other makes and models. They can be contacted at (614) 681-8375 or via their mobile number, +1 614-681-8375. As a service center associated with a dealership, it is expected to offer a comprehensive range of automotive services, from routine maintenance to complex repairs, utilizing certified technicians and potentially offering warranty work.

As an Auto Repair Station affiliated with a major automotive group, Byers Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram Service Center likely provides a wide array of services. These typically include oil changes, tire rotations, brake services, battery replacements, fluid flushes, wheel alignments, and more extensive mechanical and electrical repairs. Being a dealership service center, they would have specialized knowledge and tools for the Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge, and Ram brands, access to genuine OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) parts, and the ability to handle warranty repairs according to the manufacturers' terms.

The environment of the Byers Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram Service Center would typically include service bays where vehicles are worked on by technicians, a parts counter for obtaining necessary components, and a customer waiting area with amenities such as seating, Wi-Fi, and possibly refreshments. Dealership service centers often strive to provide a comfortable and professional environment for their customers. The positive review mentions a professional and patient staff, suggesting a customer-focused approach in their interactions.

Several features of the Byers Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram Service Center are highlighted in the customer reviews, both positive and negative. A significant positive feature is the exceptional customer service provided by certain individuals, specifically Brittany in the service department. The reviewer who had issues with their Jeep praised Brittany for her proactive communication, her efforts in working with the extended warranty company, and her overall support throughout the repair process. This suggests that some staff members are highly competent and dedicated to ensuring customer satisfaction.

The ability to handle extended warranty claims efficiently is another potential feature, as highlighted by Brittany's assistance in this area. This can be a significant benefit for customers with warranty coverage, streamlining the repair process and potentially saving them considerable expense.

However, the reviews also point out significant areas of concern. One major issue raised is the apparent mismanagement of fuel levels in customer vehicles. A reviewer reported leaving their Grand Wagoneer with half a tank of gas for an oil change and a specific repair, only to have it returned with zero miles of fuel left. This is a serious oversight and demonstrates a lack of respect for customer property and potentially a problematic internal process.

Another concern is the quality of the complimentary car wash, which was described as leaving the outside of the car "filthy." While a car wash is often offered as a courtesy, a poor execution can detract from the overall service experience and leave a negative impression.

Furthermore, the negative review specifically calls out the service manager, suggesting a need for improved customer service training or a change in management style. This indicates a potential disconnect between the positive interactions with some service advisors and the overall leadership or policies of the service department.

Currently, there is no specific promotional information available for the Byers Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram Service Center in the provided text. In conclusion, the Byers Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram Service Center in Columbus, Ohio, operates as an Auto Repair Station associated with a dealership, offering a range of services for Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge, and Ram vehicles, and potentially others. While some staff members, like Brittany, are praised for their exceptional customer service and efficiency in handling issues like extended warranties, there are significant concerns raised regarding fuel management, the quality of car washes, and the customer service approach of the service management. Local users considering this service center should weigh the positive experiences with individual staff against the reported negative aspects of fuel handling and management's customer service. It might be prudent to communicate clearly regarding fuel levels and expectations for any complimentary services offered when scheduling an appointment.

Byers Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram Service Center Customer Reviews

Best Service Ever. I started having issues with my Jeep. Called and quickly got an appointment. They found more issues than I realized I had. Before beginning any work, Brittany called and filled me in. She went above and beyond working with my extended warranty company to get my repairs completed. She was in contact with me every day on the progress. I could not be more pleased with the repairs. Everyone I spoke with was very professional and patient with me. If you're looking for a place you can trust your vehicle with, look no more. Brittany in the service department is amazing!!

Took our Grand Wagoneer in with half a tank of gas to get the oil changed the the active lane management fixed. It stopped working less than a mile from the dealership. This after they returned the vehicle with ZERO miles of fuel left. The outside of the car was filthy from their car wash. The guy we worked with was nice, professional and as helpful as he could be. The service manager needs to find a new line of work or take some major customer service training.

Absolute ripoff. Took my car here to get engine checked…tried charging me for two diagnostics ($135 each) because I said my engine had a ticking sound and their was a check engine light, which they tried to claim was two separate issues. Called them out on it and they changed it, but they were ready to try and double charge me. They then did absolutely nothing besides get the codes I could’ve got free at autozone before telling me it’d be another $500 to finish diagnosing because of engine tear down. I understand dealerships are always gonna be more expensive than your local mechanic, but they were so clearly trying to milk me for whatever they could without doing any real work. If someone comes in with an engine issue don’t you think you should mention engine tear down is an additional cost and might be necessary instead of telling me you’ll be able to give me a diagnosis and estimate for $135? I asked repeatedly when I dropped it off that the $135 diagnosis fee would guarantee an accurate estimate and they repeatedly told me yes it will. Oh, and the issue turned out to be one super common to my 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee, so common that a local mechanic told me any reputable Jeep mechanic should be aware of it. Not sure if they knew and just wanted to rip me off or if they are just incompetent. Was by no means expecting cheap service, again I know how dealership service centers are more expensive, but I was at least expecting some honesty and for them to operate in good faith.

I came here after setting an online appointment. I bought a used car from Byers a few months prior and had a warranty on the parts. It seems like the mechanics here don’t know anything at all about Byers, their warranties, or fixing cars. My car is a hybrid, and again, a hybrid I bought at Byers. I was told immediately upon check-in to take my car to the manufacturer. Why would I do that when it was sold to me here?? I’ve never dealt with the manufacturer. I was told that this was because my car is a hybrid and is therefore “not a car” but “a whole different beast.” Do you mean to tell me that a car dealership mechanic in 2022 has never worked on a hybrid car? Especially when that dealership SELLS hybrid cars?! I was told that a diagnostic examination would be $225 and the parts could be upwards of $500. No attempt to look up my warranty or contract with the dealership. Just telling me outright that I have limited coverage and these parts probably won’t be covered. (Only for me to dig up my contract later and find out that I have full bumper-to-bumper coverage.) I took my car for diagnosis elsewhere before thinking that it would be cheaper to go through my dealership. Wrong! The diagnosis was $50 at this other place and took one hour. Here, I was quoted $225 and the man I spoke to told me that they’ll be going on lunch soon so it might be more than two hours. He quoted me $225 and then said that he might not even be able to FIX the car because it’s a hybrid. So what would I be paying $225 for?! Again, another mechanic quoted me parts and labor in an hour with this exact same ~hybrid~ car! Just an ASTOUNDING amount of laziness! Drove all the way there in my hot car with no AC that I BOUGHT from this exact dealership just for them to be as unhelpful as humanly possible. Completely useless people.
