Big O Tires

I trust Big O Tires completely and always choose them for my vehicle needs. They’ve caught numerous issues that my local car dealership, where I buy my cars, missed entirely. It’s frustrating when my dealership doesn’t honor the warranty I paid extra for or fails to address problems, but Big O Tires steps up every time. I can rely on them for fair pricing and top-notch work. Their professionalism and expertise make them my go-to shop!

Jason and his crew at Newark Big O have never let me down. He is my GoTo person for all my vehicle maintenance including complete new front end suspension and AC on my ‘06 truck. Jason has integrity and I trust his judgment on what is best to keep us rolling safely.

It was an excellent experience getting my four tires replaced by the Big O Tire. Dajohn was nice, courteous and friendly. He explained the options I had. I walked in without making an appointment, and he promised me it could be done in about 90 minutes. Then, I stopped by the East West Bank and said Hi to friends who are leaders, ranks and files over there. Also, I shopped at the Ranch 99 grocery store. After that, my tires service had been done. In addition to the great tire service I had received, I realized that the Big O Tire also provides services for steering & suspension, oil change, and maintenance for sparkling, A/C, battery, filters, shocks, transmission fluid and brake services. They provide coffee and teas in the back area of the front lobby. I can tell the Big O Tire has a great owner/manager and team while I was waiting in the lobby.

I came to this store to get my tire fixed because a nail got stuck on it. Later on I found out that they didn't patch my tire at all but they still charged me. It's too late for me to go back and argue with them. I would never go to this store again for their dishonesty. So I suggest you double check your tires to see if they really got fixed before you pay them. They seem to take advantage of their customers.

This shop is the only place to go for tires and a multitude of service needs. Especially if you have any elderly friends or family members. Many repair shops can be an intimidating experience for someone that has limited vehicle maintenance knowledge. This shop is positively different. You, your family member or friends will be treated with friendly care. That is difficult to find these days. This shop will not try to sell you something you don’t need, and they do a very good job of explaining things so you can make an informed decision. The technicians are well trained and very good at what they do. I like this place because I can call and get a question answered quickly. Furthermore I have elderly family and friends and without reservation I just tell them to go to the Newark Big O Tires on Newark Blvd to take care of whatever they need. When the service is over I follow up with them and the result is always the same. A positive experience at Big O. Thank you guys.

I have been a customer for many years and am always happy with the services provided and the tires that I've purchased throughout the years. What I appreciate so much is the excellent customer service given. They diagnosed a safety recall and warranty item that needed to be serviced through Honda and provided me with printed information, made sure I understood everything, and helped me through the process. Over and beyond. I thanked the owner and made sure he knew how much I appreciate him, service manager Christian, and mechanic Eduardo. BTW... I couldn't pass up the chance to give this store a great review. They deserve it!!!!!

I can’t say enough good things about Big O Tires and the owner, Jason. He’s incredibly fair on pricing and genuinely looks out for his customers. You never feel like you’re being upsold or taken advantage of — just honest service with your best interest in mind. Jason runs a tight ship and gets you in and out quickly — My son was done in about an hour and a half, just like he promised. If you’re looking for reliable, efficient, and trustworthy tire and auto service, this is the place to go.

The service gets done, but professionalism is lacking. I went in to fix a brake light and was told the part costs $80, but they didn’t disclose labor costs upfront. In the end, I was charged $200 for an hour of work. While this is on the high end of reasonable, their pricing transparency is poor. A guy named Christian only filled out the cost breakdown after the job was done, with little explanation for each charge. Feels ad hoc and not very cost-effective. Be cautious if you go.
