Benson Collision Repair

Literally the worst company we have ever worked with. We were instructed by the insurance company to send the truck to Benson’s Collision back in July after the accident and they had it for 2 months without keeping us updated on the progress. We always had to call them and check. On the last week they had it, we were finally offered a loaner vehicle. When we got it back, the air wasn’t working (this a 2019 Nissan with low mileage so it was definitely something they messed with) Then in a few more months, it started blowing white smoke and shut down in the middle of the highway. We returned it, and they kept it for an additional month or two, and still couldn’t fix it and get it working, so we towed it home. We were told they had replaced certain modules, and when the new mechanic looked at it, couldn’t find any evidence that they had been replaced. They also sliced into the wiring harness and the new mechanic had to replace it for $8000. Extremely disappointed in the service we received.

They did a great job repairing our 4Runner after a tree fell on it during Helene. It was done a week earlier than originally estimated and the work was very well done.

So much for a “free quote” they only quote if you promise the work before the estimate… Like HOW?? Appraiser couldn’t understand how cab damage would effect structural integrity & just wanted to pull the sheet metal back close & mud it 🤦‍♂️

We have a 2022 Hyundai Kona where a deer hit the front driver side. We took it there to get an estimate and have it fixed. Wayne and his Benson family (Crew) did an awesome job, and plus they were on schedule. The other thing We like was the customer service and that the job was guaranteed for the life of the car. They are a Blessing to me and my wife. We would recommend them to anyone.

In the Benson Collision body shop the staff up front as your greeted is amazing. They were all very professional and friendly and helped me out with every question I had about my service I needed done. I was very impressed with them all from the front to the guys who were gonna do the work I needed done. I want to thank them all for such a wonderful job they do there at Benson in the body shop. These guys are a bunch of unprofessional clowns!! I took my customized bmw down here with my insurance company to have hail damage fixed. They didn’t even fix it all and in fact returned it to me with even MORE DAMAGES!!! My driver side floor board had about 4 gallons of water sitting in it. They noticed it and still left it there for the entire two weeks it was there. How do I know this?? Because the manager of the shop took photo evidence of the damages 2 days after I dropped it off. They left it there and never even informed me of it. So very unprofessional. Caused it and tried covering it up. Now are trying to say it was preexisting lol like I just drive around with a mini swimming pool that’s ankle deep like I wouldn’t have noticed it. Then they screwed up my window tint. The water is causing electrical issues as well. This is not over and you will pay for the damages. This is down right vandalism and will be reported with my insurance. AVOID THESE GUYS AS THEY WILL DAMAGE YOUR VEHICLE!!! UPDATE- CHRIS THE MANAGER THAT REPLIED TO THE REVIEW IS BOGUS. AVOIDS MY CALLS AND WONT RETURN THEM. THEY WILL DAMAGE TIUR CAR AND THEN AVOUD YOU LUME THE PLAGUE. I WILL OOST MORE REVIEWS SO THAT THIS SITUATION RESONATES AS IT SHOULD. They even talked to my insurance company to make sure I wasn’t even covered by the insurance company. They laughed about it like they think it’s funny. They are the worst. So I gutted my interior and replaced and updated everything myself. I will include some new pics of the upgraded interior. From tan to black! Costing me hundreds but saving thousands doing it myself. Cause you can’t trust a shop these days. I WONDER HOW MUCH MONEY THIS NEGATIVE REVIEW AND POOR BUSINESS PRACTICES WILL COST THEM?? Thanks for all the views, over 50k views!! I will keep updating and reviewing these guys with my multiple accounts until they go out of business or do the right thing. People like this should not be in business

I had ordered and received a cab spoiler for my ram 3500, it was in raw finish, I stoped into benson body shop in greer and spoke to a very pleasant young lady at the reception window, she then referred me to Derrick the man in charge of the body shop, I told him I needed my cab spoiler painted and he said yes they can do it so I left it with him, I received a call back a few days later and was told the job had been completed, I picked it up and was amazed on what a great job they had done ,it was a perfect match, I have purchased many cars and trucks over the past 18 years from benson CDJ. And was always impressed, now I can add the body shop to the top of my go to list, thank you very much mr. Derrick for quick response and great work you did on my spoiler, I will continue to cheer lead for you ,your body shop and your company, thank you mr benson for cherry picking only the best, bless you all and continue to stay strong and stead fast, Joe covello Greer sc
