Please do not trust this shop with your car. I made the mistake of trusting them, and I should have known better. That's my fault. I brought in a truck for transmission repair. The Asian mechanic at the counter ended up quoting me a several thousand dollar repair, and offered to buy the truck from me for parts. I should have known better, but I trusted him and sold him the truck for cheap. He then sold my truck, which I see someone else driving around today. Instead of repairing your car, this shop will happily convince you to give your car away, so they can sell it for a profit. This shop is not an auto mechanic shop, it's a get-rich-quick scheme for its owner.

Best auto shop in North County! James and his crew are awesome!!! Very honest, knowledgeable and friendly! These guys will save you tons of money, stress, and time! I've been taking all of our vehicles to them for years and have NEVER been disappointed! They do great work, giving helpful advice and often helping solve an issue for FREE!!! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!! These guys won't steer you wrong. They're very up front about what your car needs and what can be put off for later if you need to. They are the complete opposite of the "shady mechanic" that tells you that you need things when you don't. Friendly, reasonable, knowledgeable experts, and very efficient. Update: some of the staff has changed but the standards of service have not. I can easily say that this is the best mechanic I've ever worked with.

I have been a customer since 2006 and have never had a problem with their service. Auto Guys has great mechanics and quick service at a reasonable price. I had friends to drive in from Louisiana this past August. While in town they had an electrical problem with their car. The Auto Guys found the problem (alternator going out), replaced alternator and a short in system, and had them back on the road in half a day. Good Guys.
